    No one actually showed how to fit a gallon of milk into these things, so here’s another subscriber for ya!
    Alpicools seem to be reliable (using the ubiquitous LG compressor) but as a company, I believe they’re dead. None of their numbers work, so you can’t even get the warranty or sponsored though you definitely deserve it. Still worth it for the price though.
    I’m hoping to get a similar camper once Ford F-150 Lightning is out in my driveway one day (hopefully soon) ;)
    Happy adventures and thank you!

      I did a lot a research before buying this one, but also noticed how nobody showed the gallon of milk inside!
      Luckily I haven't had a reason to contact Alpicool directly, but that's disappointing to hear.
      Keep us posted on your future rig! We'd love to see it in action!

    G,day Mate
    I live in Queensland Australia about 250 mls inland to day it's the 6th of January 2022 and today it will be about 96 f . I have an identical fridge
    ( ice block brand) and have had it for over 3 years now . it lives in the back of my SUV, I have a 250W solar panel mounted under the roof racks
    And a 115 amp AGM battery in the back, never had any trouble , runs all the time. Never been turned off, gets used daily for cold drinks , lunches etc. Highly recommend. I think they all come out of the same factory in China with different names.
    Enjoyed your video, apart from the snow. It looks a bit like home!!
    All the best to you and yours

      Hey there!
      I agree, there are a lot of different brands but they all seem similar quality...luckily, for us frugal folk!
      Glad to hear your setup is working good for you. I'm sure our geography is very similar. Hot and dry!
      Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
      Take care!

      @@thebestadventure Hi, loved this review as well. I'm also interested in your solar setup and connections. Can you share a quick video about your setup? It's a bit dizzying to find one that fits my situation on youtube, and I plan to buy the Alpicool C20 and power it with a 100 watt solar panel as well. I only have one deep cycle battery at the moment, but planning to add a second one. Thanks in advance!

    Having trouble with mine. It’s hit or miss whether it wants to work or not. Had it a few years and forget how to program it I guess. I used to just plug and play and it was good to go. Lost a lot of food last trip b/c it just would cool up all. Thought plugging and unplugging was the fix but it’s inconsistent. Figured maybe I just need to let it run all the time so it doesn’t have to work as hard off 12 volts to keep temp up. It currently and often just reads F1 and is not cooling. 🤷 any help? Thanks I

    • @thebestadventure
      @thebestadventure  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      An "F1" code is telling you that your battery voltage is too low. You might need to replace your battery, or perhaps change your battery protection setting! Hold your "set" button down until it shows H1, H2, or H3. I keep ours set on H1, which allows the battery to drain to the lowest setting before turning off the fridge. Keep me updated!

    Hi,
    How much ice can it does ?

    • @thebestadventure
      @thebestadventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! If you're asking about storing ice for use in drinks, a 10lb bag fits with room to spare. Otherwise, it depends on how many items you have in the fridge, other than the ice. Hope that helps!
