I had a small glass of mead in Devon and it was made of honey - and very strong. Visited Bunratty Castle and at their banquet they serve honey mead. After a good drink of that and everyone would be tossing the bones willy nilly. We didn't attend one unfortunately.

Mead - fermented honey wine, not fermented apple juice (that's hard cider), and been around longer than the 14th century.

Last episode contestant #2 only got 1 vote total in the three games. In this episode, contestant #2 got no votes. Thus, the panel had a very bad night which was great for the contestants.

None of Henry VIII's wives were named Mary. No one asked Mr. Bradford where he started his trip. Troy has recently been postulated to be in England where Tin was mined.

I think I saw this when I was about 8. I remember the game with the "chief wench." Three things I heard first on "TTTT": affidavit, consultation and "God bless you." And with this show--wench.
