Peggy, like a great many people, knows that there is a language called Swahili, but doesn't know where it's spoken. (I know Swaziland and Kenya.)

I don't think they speak swaili in Swaziland.
Swahili is primarily spoken in Kenya and what is today Tanzania, as well as several other countries in East Africa--often as a lingua franca.

I am not American
Actually when i joined the statistic was 1 out of 8 American men that actually join finish the 5 year contract. That was in 2013. 2013-2018. I had an American in my basic training that deserted.
@@leonnqt1dxxclecavalier369 I do not believe that the Legion engages in the sadistic treatment he indicated. The training is very strenuous and can be compared only to Ranger training in the US military. I was surprised at the uninformed questions asked. It is not suited for most American men who have been brought up on the unrigorous and soft American lifestyle.

17:08 I don't get why you lose US citizenship by joining the French Foreign Legion, considering France is an Ally. Maybe the rules have changed since then, but even Oswald who defected to an enemy country returned and kept his citizenship. I wish we found out more about his story. Bud Collier was not too good as a host. All he does is say, "you get a carton of Winstons and God bless you". Garry Moore was so much better; he talked to the real ones, had a good sense of humor, etc. Tom Poston I find annoying; Peggy and Kitty are the best panelists. Orson Bean made it to 90, but then was hit by a car crossing the street in Venice, CA in 2020.
You're pledging allegiance to a foreign country. Doesn't matter it's an ally.
Orson Bean is not funny. He's a try hard. Tom is funnier.
