Game #2 is basically the Kuomintang version (parody?) of Mao’s Long March(and those clothes are stunning 🤩), while Game #3 is an heartfelt plea for genuine home cooking.

Bud's timing of the episode was off a bit but he knew that when he said earlier that time was wasting away. I wonder if Betty Furness had a date with contestant #1 in game 3. I have no idea if either one was married and I don't really care to be honest. Just curious since she seemed attracted to him to make the comment that she did.
I would imagine John Gould didn't live to see the light of day after this broadcast, with all those lovely things he had to say about women.

At the very end of this episode, Bud Collier does a short PSA in which he reminds "aliens" about how to register with the Federal Government. I can recall an illustrated TV spot that did much the same thing back in the 1960s. As I don''t live in the USA anymore, I'd like to know if such PSA's still exist--given the rather pejorative nuance that "aliens" now has in the States.

When I came to reside LEGALLY in the United States I had to fill that particular form every year until I became a US citizen after 5 years residence. It was one of the happiest days in my life. I never felt insulted like apparently you do because I was called an "alien", or a "green card holder". There are many people out there who feel offended constantly by anything or anyone. I'm not one of those.
