Whether working on a Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius or a Tesla, the HV Battery or High Voltage battery is designed to be safe but it can affect how other systems work in the vehicle and it is always better to be safe than sorry. Doing an eMobility course at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket which results in an IMI training qualification could help keep you safe and help your (insulated) spannering career too.
China relishes the upcoming project, which invites viewers into his personal workshop facility in Buckinghamshire.
“I’m really excited to finally be able to bring this project to our fans as it is something they repeatedly have been asking for,” said China. “Workshop Diaries will let viewers really get stuck into the project and the detail of the fixes, and also provide a platform for instant feedback and interaction. It’s an exciting prospect and it’s great to finally get going!”

This show is a stark contrast to other car culture channels on TH-cam, that seem to be yelling at you to like, share and buy merch. Full of hype, over the top drama and just willing to show you an end product without getting into the nuts and bolts of a rebuild and its challenges. This channel and Bad Obsession Motorsport. The only two places you really cant wait for content. And Edds channel with high production levels, no camera wobble, or any such things with the camera work. It just soothes the soul. Always.

The thing that bugs me is the amount of product placement going on. Edd has even blurred out tools in the past just to keep sponsorship deals in a healthy state. Here’s a “sort of” funny fact for you.
I used to work at Plant Oxford. Like most car manufacturers, the engine and gearbox are assembled on one line, whilst the subframe and suspension where assembled on another. Then the two were married together.
The subframe was the first part to be loaded on the platten (mobile jig) and, due to the weight, the associate (one man) was supposed to use a handling devise. But he found it quicker the manually lift and load all by himself. Imagine doing that 900 times in one shift 😮

Rally suspicion for a Mini a la Beverian... Okay then. Imagine in this modern day and age of information; Edd's is the only car channel (with nearly a million subs) who is actually sharing said info. No script, no manufactured drama, or hyperbolic bovine scatology, just real conversation between two friendly blokes who aren't trying to sell me something. How refreshing.

Nice to see 'oldskool' experienced guys doing things properly for safety rather than 'likes'. The experience between Edd and Neil must be immense

Edd and Neil - you’ve inspired me to go back to rallying (after a 25 year break) I’ve got a MINI Paceman JCW and I’m also going to aim to compete in the Hertfordshire Rally. Keep the good hints coming, especially if they are transferable to my bigger boy. Really good watch, great banter and lots of tea. Who needs background music? You have (IMO) gone some way to filling a gap in the market that was left by the departure of Car and Car Conversions and RallySport magazine. All you need now is some ‘on event’ coverage.

The channel that keeps giving. Don't know why, I find Ed's presentation method relaxing, a bit like watching Bob Ross! . Best episode, for me, so far, nicely paced, nuts and bolts strip down, no gimmicks. Neil, the "new guy" ;) fitted in well in the the garage.

🤣 that rally incident. Lucky you kept your foot in it, dragged you out. The co-drivers reaction was brilliant also. She sounds on edge anyway. Great stuff 👍🏼

Absolutely love the show! It keeps me motivated with my own cars :)
A small bit of constructive criticism - the audio is quite loud during power tools and the rally clip, so I should look into normalising it a bit more. As of now, I lower the volume every time the impact gun comes out :)

A proper job and it is nice to hear comments clearly without background "musak" My first time with this programme but not the last. Edd is very watchable.

A really great interesting video from 2 people who more than know their stuff. I am just a wee bit jealous as I own a 2007 Mini Cooper, but all I could make happen right now is the cups of tea, lol.

Edd I love your attention to detail. Sometimes us the viewers really are curious about those small nagging items that need repair and how its done. Keep up the good work my friend. If you ever visit Alaska in the USA I have a project or two you would enjoy and I can show you around.

Wether it be rotten out Range Rovers, crazy oranges or rally spec Mini's, I could watch Edd and his mates mess with cars all day. Better yet imagine a rally colab with Bad Obsession Motorsport 👍
