Please, I've been homeless with only $100 on my account, hiding in university libraries sleeping because of domestic abuse. I was thankful for even getting a job with minimum wage. I cannot believe the amount of entitlement this woman has.

I don't have a Highschool diploma, I don't have a GED, my father died, and I had severe social anxiety. Then I move to Washington, got a job working in a UPS warehouse, and now I'm working as a seafood clerk. I'm happy in my life, because I can say I am doing something useful with myself, even if the world thinks I'm not good enough for it.
This girl reminds me that I'm not so lazy as a person, and that my goals in life are realistic.

Good for you for finding a way through without having a high school diploma/GED because I know how hard it can be to find a good paying job without it. I don’t have a high school diploma, I’m working on my GED right now. My father died just over a year ago, I just got a job in an amazon warehouse making double the pay I have been working for since I was 16! I still struggle day to day trying to find motivation for things but I keep going because what else can you do? There’s so many girls like this girl that want everything handed to them and cry over it when it doesn’t happen. I wish they could walk a mile in our shoes!
Keep your head up and know your worth! I applaud you for your work ethic. I dropped out at 15 and recently got my GED. I don’t know if the testing is much different there, but for my state you can even take classes for it and if you don’t pass they’ll pay for three more retakes. Sometimes I feel like what I'm doing is pathetic and a failure, but then I remember I'm making enough to support myself and to buy the things I want and have enough to go have fun sometimes. Its nothing to be ashamed of. My family is proud of me for making my own way and working for what I want
Me too! My parents passed away when I was 17 and I have been working in factories since I was 18. I've lived in Austria and Germany learned german and am now fluent. Since then, I've worked at Porsche, the main logistic company for VW and although they were only temp (low paid) jobs I'm so proud to say that I took part and that I was there. Now I repair cells for huge lithium batteries. I work almost at the same level as a high volt technician through being ready to learn and diligent in my work and I have learned SO MUCH through all of the places I've worked. Technical knowledge, safety, handiwork skills with metal, machines, quality control, presses, welding and now electricity! I am still learning through work and I am aiming high. I hope to be able to go to our American branch to translate and show them how we do it. That would be absolutely amazing! You should always aim high in life and you will do well. It takes a long time but all you have to do is to be consistent no matter what.

A very good point. People should learn to take breaks and not get so deep into it that it becomes their addiction and soul source of income (Don't put all your eggs in one basket). It's kind of alarming if you think about it... Social media (instagram in this instance) is an addiction that you can get paid for, it's really a genius business model! One day though, like everything else, it will fade into obscurity.
And don't say the hold social media has on people... it's people who are choosing to be on this social media all day and night... they always have a choice just remember that they're choosing to do this

I've had friends like that in the past. No job, no schooling, unwilling to even consider looking at online applications, waits for their parents to bring them dinner every night and complains if they're late. But when you bring it up to them they just start saying "I'm stupid, I'm useless" to deflect the criticism. It's a form of self-deprecation that only exists to garner pity and attention, not really self-awareness.

I work for Medicare Monday through Friday 8 hours every day and I love it!! I love helping patients make sure they have food, rides to their doctor appointment’s, making sure they get the medications etc...They live a happy healthy life!!! I was applying to amazon & the job description for a warehouse employee literally said “no resume or experience needed”, I have experience but I don’t have warehouse experience so I just applied without my resume. After submitting my application (with no job history) I was given an offer & a new hire date to bring paper work.. it’s that simple sometimes. She clearly doesn’t want to try. But it’s sad she sees herself so worthless she thinks she can’t get a 9-5 flipping burgers like the rest of us! Almost anyone is qualified to do that.
