Just bought one on sale and with a prime bonus for $209. It's a decent TV tor that price, my only cons are it doesn't play nice with a spectrum remote, using a TCL TV code the volume works and it powers the TV off, but once not in standby it won't power the TV back on. The only other thing I don't care for is it won't automatically go to my cable input (HDMI 1) on startup, you have to manually select it (or use the Alexa button and say cable). It actually has a pretty decent picture, and nice going to a 4k screen, this TV replaced an 8 year old Samsung 43 in a bedroom so no issues with off angle viewing. EDIT, so there is a setting to have the TV start with the last used input, so now only con is once the TV enters sleep, you must use the Fire remote to wake it up. I found options to keep it from sleeping for a period of time, but not able to keep it in standby.
Do you know who is the original vendor of the TV? Actually I bought 43" LG TV a couple years ago for $220. So it isn't a very cheap. I use my TV with Shield Android TV. Certainly, I want to get rid of Shield it's why I am looking around. But I need a powerful Android capabilities because I use lot Android apps with TV.
@@kamertonaudiophileplayer847 Oh ok I see, I was just thinking that for powerful android capabilities, they might be the way to go, but I'm not really familiar with the Android TVs
Worry about ur own state dude (and no i don’t live in California, just tired of people hating on other places) California’s beauty alone makes it way better than 90% of other states
Amazon tvs are junk. My 75 inch Omni Fire TVs main board went out after 6 months. My I got a 5 year old Chinese brand konka android tv that’s still running perfectly to this day. Almost $1000 for the fire tv and $400 for the Chinese on. Again Amazon hardware is crap. Fire tvs burning out and fire sticks bricking 😂😂😂😂

I have a monitor with a fire stick. Works for me
I have fire sticks on all tvs and yes it takes awhile too. I think I’m fine with this tv.
Yeah just that initial power on can take a while with this TV, but when you turn it off into standby mode and turn it on again, it is fast

Have you checked out any TV's with the Android operating system?
@@techwithtobias Not yet. I am pretty sure they have a less powerful processor than I need. However the situation can change in this year.
