Very unusual, and a great alternative to our 411s 😊

And with a budget of £8k, I think I'd be tempted by the new Honda 1000 Hornet... or £9k in SP guise 😜

There's definitely LOTS of alternatives at that price that offer a lot more. A nice concept, but only for those with deep pockets

There are so many questions surrounding electric vehicles from the supposed use of children in mining the lithium to the cost of the vehicles such as this one at £9k with the power pack. As it stands that machine isn't a bike a normal rider would own as an only bike. A fun machine to be able to scoot around towns or take on holiday to zip around on. I wouldn't want one in any city in this country, the UK, as I wouldn't expect it to be where I left it on my return to it. Albeit that last point can be said of many vehicles. I'm not actually against electric vehicles as we own an hybrid car.

I'd not heard about children mining lithium! 😲. I hope it comes across in the review, but it really is a great little bike and lots of fun, but the cost is prohibitive for many and the safety aspect is definitely a concern. I drove a courtesy Corsa E and was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was. For me, electric/hybrid makes more sense in cars (especially in the urban environment), but for motorcycles the engine and sound (or lack of it) is a big miss and that's what I struggle with.

@@TheHimalayanDiaries They do sound eerie in the 2 videos I've seen them ridden in.

@@TheHimalayanDiaries He's just repeating what he hears on mainstream news. Also, it was cobalt, not lithium, which was mined by children in Africa. The amount these children could mine is less than 0.1% of net total consumption, so you obviously need vast mining equipment, operated by actual workers, to meet demands. The exploitation of children, while it is still happening unfortunately, has nothing to do with lithium batteries in today's world. I don't see anyone complaining about their mobile phone being slave mined, so it's dead stupid for these people to bring this argument up on EVs, especially in today's world.

Honestly - it's fugly. If it was £2.5k it'd be a viable commuter despite that, but £8k is real bike money

What a piece of junk underpowered bike. It's too expensive. There's absolutely no reason to buy this spec wise, price needs to go down 60-70% then we're talking.

I 100% agree with you on the price, but it's a great little bike. Even if you have no interest in buying one I'd recommend a test ride. It's great fun
