Well done Andy. At 53 I passed my CBT on Friday, picked up my new Yammy yesterday and have absolutely loved it 😊. It’s scary at first (at my age) but conquering the fear is well worth the reward. Good luck to anyone out there who is thinking about it and do it! 😄
Congratulations on passing Andrew. I honestly think the hazard perception is a nonsense, just about everything is a hazard when you ride a bike and the timings of those videos is so subjective. Really looking forward to your thoughts on a bigger bike, you’re the perfect person to move up as your sensible and prepared to practice your skills. Good luck.
Congratulations for passing your theory test. Don't let your age be an issue my husband also had his motorbike theory test today and he passed and he had his 60th birthday last month 😃
I took my theory test in August 2023 at the age of 62 having been driving for more than thirty years. I managed (not sure how) to score 50/50 for the road signs but only just scrapped through the hazard perception by 1 mark. The main problem seemed to be that I was perceiving the hazards too quickly and missed out on scoring the top marks. Oh well...that is over and done with, and I then passed Module 1 and 2 (on the second attempt for both). Probably cost me over £1,000 for the whole process (no wonder young people struggle to afford this expense), but now have a full 'A' licence and two proper motorbikes.

Well done on passing your theory test. Nothing like that in my day. The test centre was on Sackville Street, near the Town Hall. Just rode around while the examiner observed. Nice footage of Huddersfield Road. Had my first teaching job there, Hall Balk which was the Girls’ High School previously. Keep it up.
Well done on passing. Because I did the A1, other than YT videos I had no first hand advice. So I had not heard about the double click etc on the hazard perception. I only clicked once when I saw a hazard. I was 56 when I passed my theory, passed my A1 a few weeks later, but unlike you, I had bikes when I was younger. Starting at 17, Yamaha RS 100, Honda CB 125T and last prior to being an old fart, a Honda SFX50. Fingers crossed for you in the future.
Good luck with your practical. You will pass your Mod1 & Mod 2. Normally, you are trained in more confined spaces than the actual test. With plenty of practice if you've opted for the crash course.
I passed with only 2 minors on the Mod 2 section at the age of 58. Now riding out on a CBR650R and age has made me a far safer rider than the young guns.
I’m in a similar position to you, 50years old, never had a bike before and decided now was the time to get one. I took the motorcycle theory test a month ago and smashed the multiple choice questions but only just scrapped through the hazard perception test. IMO, the HP test is flawed, as clicking at the right time seemed random. Thankfully I passed and so hope never to have to sit through that again. I’ve since passed my Mod 1 too and Mod 2 is booked for later this month. Unlike you I didn’t buy a 125 to get so experience on 2 wheels, so my time in the saddle remains minimal. Good luck with the Mod 1 and Mod 2!
Very involved test. Probably a very good beneficial exam. My motorcycle test back in the 90s was... Name the sign post from a chart. Onto the bike, told go out the gate, turn right , then left untill you arrive back to the test centre. Tester followed in a car.
I'm 53 next 🫣 and was thinking about doing test but never riden a bike but watching you and as a fellow yorkshire lad gave me the push to do it. Cheers and good luck 👍
Congrats, I did my test at 68 and passed first time but the theory is a nightmare, especially the hazard perception part. It`s someone else`s perception and like you say you can actually click too early, even though you have seen the hazard. Mod 1 is a whole new ball game and for me the scariest. You need to do everything right from when the examiner tells you to mount your bike to when you exit the compound and park it up again, no mistakes ! .... hardest bit for me was the U turn between the lines ... no putting feet down !.... make sure you do mirrors and lifesaver before EVERY move, even when test is over and you are returning to the parking area. Good luck on your next part of the test, practice practice 🤪👍
Congratulations! Very similair results to myself. One bit of advice, don't over think it, you'll never need to do that again! Just focus on the next step, learn to pass your test, then learn to ride! The most important thing is go at your own pace, don't try and keep up with others!
Hi Andrew, congratulations on passing your theory test, well done and hope your training goes well.... Bring on the big bike!! Andy & Lyn. PS: Claire to do her CBT👍
Brilliant series. The Missenden Flyer will soon have a rival. Cap doffed if you’re commuting on the bike throughout winter. I’d be far too nesh for that. Congratulations. 👍🏻
I just wanted to thank you for this series its given me the confidence to go get my CBT done and then eventually go for my full Direct Access after a few lessons I've always wanted a bike since I was little so seeing someone go through it and seeing what its like has alleviated some of the concerns I had and now I'm just excited to go for it cheers
Hi Andy. Everything that you are doing I did five years ago when I was 52. The theory test was hilarious, I think that I revised for ever and it the end I was that good I scored 49/50 and got almost top score on the hazard perception. When I took the mod 1, I was that nervous I went through the speed trap at 62 km/h on the swerve test. The fastest they had ever had. Mod 2, pre-test training I made so may mistakes I thought I had no chance of passing, but actually had no faults during the test. Been riding for four years now and I love it so much! Worked my way up to an MT10 now but had so many lessons and experiences since the test, I feel confident enough to handle such a machine. Good luck to you and the vlogs are great!!
I took my tests 6 years ago when I was 68. Now riding a RE Interceptor and a Triumph T100. Stick at it, I wish I'd done the test many years ago. I'm now one of the many grey haired bikers.
I'm 40 next month, passed my cbt in Feb and bought a 125cc bike in March, done over 2k miles and absolutely love it, mod 1 passed last week and mod 2 next week, but seriously in mo rush to go to a bigger bike straight away, you can have alot of fun on a 125cc bike
You are absolutely correct on your comments about the "Hazard Perception" test, I suppose the key word is "perception" and that is very subjective based upon your skill levels and your previous training. I had to take the HP Test when I added a class 1 LGV to my licence, but I had been a car licence holder for 30+ years, a motorcycle licence holder for longer, I had been trained to the highest level in a number of Police advanced disciplines and I was constantly failing the mock HP tests. It turned out I was seeing far more hazards than they were actually classing as such and I was spotting the listed hazards much earlier than they required.. So to pass I had to train my self to dumb down my observation skills. It is better than nothing if it improves driver observations but it is far from perfect. 🤣
Of course you can do it at nearly 50 !!!! It’s a skill set not an age set ! 😂 if your riding well now then the saddles your oyster !😊 I was 56 when I passed !! Never looked back 😊 Julie 4 ft 11 😊
Nice one when i did my theory test for the bike back in 2017 i had been drivingfor nearly 30 years and also driving HGVs for 23 years and thought i would breeze through. I scored 50 on the multiple choice but just scraped through on the hazard perception mainly due to not been very computer literate and clicking too many times because i was seeing hazards that i thought were there or developing. I passed but wasnt happy thought the test was not really good enough may have been the program they used at the time .Good luck with "the big bike " you will love it
I did my theory test recently. I'm in my 50s and have been driving and cycling for many years, including advanced training, and like you and others here, I felt that the hazard perception part of the test was the part I was most concerned about due to the possibility of clicking too early or too many times. I scored full marks on the theory part and used a 2 or 3 click approach and passed the hazard part. I know I saw and clicked all the hazards well before the animation needed to slow down or take other evasive action (at which point you'd score 0 of course), but still got 2 clips with 3 points, 2 with 1 point, and 1 with 0 points. Anyway, like you, it was a pass, so, on to the big bike stuff and hopefully I won't need to do that again! Good luck with your mod 1 and 2.
It’s interesting watching someone else going through this process. The fact that you’ve realised already your Highway Code knowledge may have been rusty beforehand is a real eye opener. So many folk on the road either don’t know the rules of the road or don’t care. Well done. Keep it up, knowledge is power 👍
Riding a bicycle it's amazing how many cars try to overtake me on those few meters of the Zigzag of a zebra crossing. Do they really not know they shouldn't overtake on zigzags especially at zebra crossing?
Congrats! The theory is harder than you’d think. I militantly studied for months. Went in and there were several questions I had never remotely seen before. Thought I’d failed catastrophically. Ended up getting 100% on the theory. I got 100% on the hazard perception I actually answered. I got zero on 1 where I zoned out and forgot what I was even doing 😂. Think I was thinking about the price of baked beans in Yugoslavia 😂 I was just sitting watching and never even clicked haha
Congratulations Andy. They didn’t have any of that madness when I took my test. I took my test on a borrowed CG125 ( my bike got stolen the week before), passed the road test and could ride any bike I liked the day after 😂. Long live the paper driving licence! 😊
Well done Andrew and Claire for her getting on the bandwagon with you, you’ll love the smooth torque of a bigger engine, so much easier and relaxing to ride 👍
Congratulations Andy, now for the mod 1& 2,don't worry mate you'll smash it pal,I learned with Simon,he's a excellent instructor (more patience than a saint).Good luck pal and I'll be waiting for the vlog to tell us youve passed 👍
Congrats mate. Will be interesting to see what bike you choose next. My recommendation would be naked category, if you want 600ccm, MT07 would be great, it's rather tiny bike fot a tall chap like you, but it's perfectly doable. That bike is fairly tamed, so it won't give you hard time, but it should be a good platform to keep learning. Transition from that to any bike will be somewhat easy. If you like cruisers, I'd still recommend naked for developing good habits, then get a cruiser in a year or so
Congrats on passing, I'm new to riding as well did my CBT, Theory, Mod 1 and Mod 2 passing at the end of August, and now a proud owner of a Honda CB650R
I just passed my theory test on Wednesday the 30th October, I was super pleased as it was my 2nd theory test attempt. I used the theory 4 in 1 app, which helped me prepare with mock tests and learning more about the highway code that I didn't know of before. That and learning what I did wrong n such. congrats on passing yours, mate. And to those looking to get theirs done, don't give up if you fail once, you'll know what to expect for next time.
I passed my theory test 10 years ago and although I got 98%on the highway code I still dont know which two I got wrong so for the last 10 years I have probably been repeating my mistake on the road ,I feel they should tell us what we got wrong and what the correct answer is.
luv the vid , but never mind the motorbike you are right . we all have our own interpretation of what is a twichell and what is a ginnell, but we are all friends here . well done on the test, you smart arse.
Hi Andy, I hope you and family are well. As I said before, I'd check in on you and I'm honoured to be able to say Congratulations and well done🎉🥇 . I knew you would fly through the theory test, just like you're gonna do on your practical test, so I'll be checking in on you again. Again well done and keep it up, I'm proud of you.
When I worked in an auto garage I had a co-worker go for their bike licence whom had one of them apps. He went around and got everyone to try a test. Of course being a garage everyone thought they were an expert. Only a single person passed.
Well done , I’ve not long completed my mod 1 and mod 2 , I’m 64 years young, just waiting to get a bike , going abroad next year on a tour to France and Spain with my oldest son
Congratulations Andrew! 🎉 had every faith in you! Well done ⭐️ BTW I still have an old paper licence before these new plastic things came out 😂 it's a bit frail and always gets some comments when I have to use it for ID 😅 Keep on biking 🏍 and hope you both enjoyed your celebratory meal 🍽 😊
Congratulations on your theory test pass... I too passed a test, the CBT! Unfortunately I didn't do it the first time round AND ALMOST GAVE UP.... but I nailed it today 😁 as of tomorrow I can ride my Zontes 125-g1 it's a scrambler type bike. Too tired to ride anymore today LOL
COOOOONNNNNNGRATULATIONS Andy!! 🎉 I mentioned on your previous video to search TH-cam and “find the hack”, I’m glad you did as the theory is unnecessarily stressful, let alone the wording in the multiple choice tries to catch you out, but the hazard perception IMO does need to change, as having to learn the algorithm on a real life example isn’t really right - but YOU DID IT!! Honestly now just enjoy, embrace everything and for you it will be nothing but enjoyable, as you’ve really worked so hard already, it’s just fruit picking now. Enjoy Relax The 650 will be easier to ride MOD 1 is a little more intense but an elaborate CBT - watch out for false neutrals MOD 2 ride your own ride, don’t badly react to mistakes - just be safe Pass it all and get yourself a SV650 for Christmas 😉 Really chuffed for you Andy, and thank you both for another fantastic video.
Congrats. Now just remember, the clutch is your new best friend when doing slower stuff. Get the revs up, friction zone, slip clutch and you’ll crack those manoeuvres. Best of luck for next week.
I did my driving test 10 years ago and the hazard perception test was the thing I got 100% on. Sounds like yours was a little bit different. I just had a button I needed to press whenever I saw a hazard so where you clicked wasn't an issue
The thing to remember is that there will be a hazard in the video, so what i found was like you said, spot the hazard, if it looks like this is the one, klick it, then if it developes further, klick again. then again when your right on top of it. Skatter gun method. You can't be to precise other wise you miss it. Worked for me 13 years ago.
I did my Theory a few weeks ago and passed, thanks to same App but only JUST (44) passed on hazard perception due to same points you mentioned ! Love sharing this adventure
Congratulations Andy. Well-done 👏👍. Took my Motorcycle Theory test at 52 after 35 years driving. Used the same app as you which was great. Felt weird, yes but it's just a means to an end. Now go get your Mod 1 🤞😮
I’m always impressed that the UK and I’m assuming most of europe has such stringent testing for motorcycles. Here in the US you get a free motorcycle endorsement with the purchase of a gas fill up and monster drink at the corner gas station. Maybe I exaggerate but honestly is not far off from that.
Great video guys. The hazard test would be difficult for me as I have been riding bikes for over 40 years, although I didn't take my test until 1996 ( passed first time) - it's all about learning what you need to do to pass the test. Steve
Well done Andrew congratulations. I have to say thank goodness I don’t have to do this. Just goes to show when you’ve been a driver for many years how much we don’t know. Yikes 😮. 🤗
The struggles with the hazard perception is it is more targetted towards new learners who cant spot an upcoming hazard, the problem we have having driven for years is we can see them coming before they class it as a hazard. Something definitely needs to change on that tho as its frustrating! Goodluck on your first ride on a big bike! Having recently just passed my DAS course 3 weeks ago i can tell you without a doubt after the first day of riding on those big boy 650cc bikes itll make your 125 feel like a pedal bike, got my bike being delivered tuesday so cannot wait to get back out on the open road. After seeing your progress tho dude i can tell your gonna smash it! Cannot wait to see your reaction to having driven the 650s
Well done! I think we all agree Hazard test is flawed. I have spoken to instructors and the common thought is, the better the driver/rider you are the more likely to fail the perception test. This is thought to be due to better awareness and seeing hazards developing earlier, therefore we click too soon. When we practice for the test we do what is required rather than using our instincts.
Well done on passing your theory test. Your scores were almost the same as mine, 50 on the questions and 56 on the hazard perception, disappointed in only 56 but hey, a pass is a pass 😁 You’ll love it when you move on to the big bikes, I trained on a Yamaha MT07 and loved it. I did my CBT back in July and passed my direct access mod2 at the start of September at age 55. Good luck and enjoy your training 👍
Good luck, mate. After doing my CBT last week, I think I need a 125 to practice on and get those gross motor skills before the rest of the training and tests... like you. Just watched to the end. Well done.
Congratulations, this is amazing. Great progress on your journey to bigger bikes. Think you should have scored 50 out 50 on the theory though, what happened to the 1 mark - lol. Good luck on your MOD 1 especially the U-turn.
Well done! IHated the hazard test. I’ve yet to do the motorcycle, but getting my bus licence 8 years ago I did one. All my other stuff I was 95% plus (various license modules) the hazard test I *just* scraped a pass with no margin. In real life I have certificates, badges and bonuses (company black box tracking) for safe and economical driving for every year I’ve driven.
I had a paper licence only, until just recently as I passed my bike test before photocard ones were issued & I hadn't moved house since then. Good luck on your biking journey. Enjoy the ride. 🏍
It was interesting what you said about hazard perception as they have obviously refined it. About 15 years ago I had a go at a hazard perception test and was horrified when I scored lower than a friend who at that time had failed her driving test 12 times. The first time I did it I mentally differentiated between situations that might possibly become a hazard and those that I believed could develop into a hazard. I was using my experience of driving to differentiate between the two. An example might be that a person walking towards a zebra crossing would be noted but not clicked whereas a pedestrian at a pedestrian at a crossing would be. My friend told me I had to click on everything. I retook the exercise and scored much better. It sounds as though they have refined the test and made it better. The follow on to this story is that the friend did pass her test on her 13th attempt after attending a five day intensive driving course.
Congrats, the Tests in my country are way different than yours. I cant really follow what happens with your license, but a pass is a pass, as Claire said. :D it's a very interesting video of a Motorcycle Vlog without a motorcycle. :)) Can't wait to see you on the 600.

You're welcome mate, all the best and enjoy the process.
62!!!!! 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching and appreciate you taking the time to comment
Have a great week. Happy travels
I took my tests 6 years ago when I was 68. Now riding a RE Interceptor and a Triumph T100.
Stick at it, I wish I'd done the test many years ago.
I'm now one of the many grey haired bikers.
… and me! 😂😂👍
Hi. Thanks for watching. Safe travels
Congrats Andy! I always found the hazard perception weird by it not counting if you clicked to early, even though you could see it about to happen.
Exactly!
Hi. This is really interesting, Thank you
You are making me relieved that when I was newly-licensed, I lived in the rural US. Lots of small towns and backroads!
Wow, sounds great
Congratulations well done, it must make you a better car driver at the same time.🎉
Absolutely
Of course you can do it at nearly 50 !!!! It’s a skill set not an age set ! 😂 if your riding well now then the saddles your oyster !😊 I was 56 when I passed !! Never looked back 😊 Julie 4 ft 11 😊
Hi Julie 👋
@ hi 👋👋
Nice one when i did my theory test for the bike back in 2017 i had been drivingfor nearly 30 years and also driving HGVs for 23 years and thought i would breeze through. I scored 50 on the multiple choice but just scraped through on the hazard perception mainly due to not been very computer literate and clicking too many times because i was seeing hazards that i thought were there or developing. I passed but wasnt happy thought the test was not really good enough may have been the program they used at the time .Good luck with "the big bike " you will love it
Hi. Thanks 👍👍
Great news on passing
Thankyou 👍👍
Well done mate you’ll soon be on the big bikes with Claire ont back xx
Ooosh yeah!!!!!👍
It’s interesting watching someone else going through this process. The fact that you’ve realised already your Highway Code knowledge may have been rusty beforehand is a real eye opener. So many folk on the road either don’t know the rules of the road or don’t care. Well done. Keep it up, knowledge is power 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
Riding a bicycle it's amazing how many cars try to overtake me on those few meters of the Zigzag of a zebra crossing.
Do they really not know they shouldn't overtake on zigzags especially at zebra crossing?
Revision is key well done on the way to being a full on biker
Stick with it as you never stop learning
Thank you 👍
Well done Andrew , I think the Hazard perception is most people’s nightmare !!
Keep going , you’re doing brilliant !
Thanks 👍
Pleased for you Andy. Glad your theory practice paid off. Great support from Claire too. Looking forward to watching your progress.
Thankyou
Congratulations!! and hope you enjoyed your celebratory meal. 👍
Oh yes!
Hi, thanks for watching, good to hear you passed 👍👍
Congratulations Andy. They didn’t have any of that madness when I took my test. I took my test on a borrowed CG125 ( my bike got stolen the week before), passed the road test and could ride any bike I liked the day after 😂. Long live the paper driving licence! 😊
😂😂😂 have a great weekend
Well done Andrew and Claire for her getting on the bandwagon with you, you’ll love the smooth torque of a bigger engine, so much easier and relaxing to ride 👍
That's the plan!
Congratulations Andy, now for the mod 1& 2,don't worry mate you'll smash it pal,I learned with Simon,he's a excellent instructor (more patience than a saint).Good luck pal and I'll be waiting for the vlog to tell us youve passed 👍
😂😂👍👍 let’s hope so!!!
Well done chap, i'm guessing most people dont bother with researching and reading up and just wing it! lol Onwards and upwards! 👏👍👌🤘✌🖖🤙🍻
Thanks for watching
Congrats mate. Will be interesting to see what bike you choose next. My recommendation would be naked category, if you want 600ccm, MT07 would be great, it's rather tiny bike fot a tall chap like you, but it's perfectly doable. That bike is fairly tamed, so it won't give you hard time, but it should be a good platform to keep learning. Transition from that to any bike will be somewhat easy.
If you like cruisers, I'd still recommend naked for developing good habits, then get a cruiser in a year or so
Going to enjoy bike shopping 😂
Congrats brother.
Many many thanks
Congrats on passing, I'm new to riding as well did my CBT, Theory, Mod 1 and Mod 2 passing at the end of August, and now a proud owner of a Honda CB650R
Oooosb sounds great!
@@AceUk1000 I'm finding insurance a nightmare on 650 /750 might end up with speed 400
@@stevenyates6732 I do delivery on a 125 insurance is a little over £1300 and I'm fast approaching 65.
@@stevenyates6732 was a bit pricey but wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be for a brand new bike.
Congratulations 👍
Thank you 👍
Congratulations mate, got my mod 1 booked for the 13th with s&k with preparations on 4th and 7th.
Oooosh. Let me know how you get on 👍👍 good luck
Congratulations to you!!! 🏍️👍
@@bikerofatlantis Thank you ^v^
Congratulations
Thankyou
Congratulations on passing Andrew! Keep up the learning!
Thank you! Will do!
Well pleased you've passed can't wait for the next video
Thankyou!
I think I said this before , if you are a driver you always look ahead so you see things earlier that could be developing hazards.
@@bikerofatlantis I'd love to know what bikes you're considering for your first big bike.
I passed my theory test 10 years ago and although I got 98%on the highway code I still dont know which two I got wrong so for the last 10 years I have probably been repeating my mistake on the road ,I feel they should tell us what we got wrong and what the correct answer is.
Hi. This is a valid point 👍👍👍
luv the vid , but never mind the motorbike you are right . we all have our own interpretation of what is a twichell and what is a ginnell, but we are all friends here . well done on the test, you smart arse.
😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Andy, I hope you and family are well. As I said before, I'd check in on you and I'm honoured to be able to say Congratulations and well done🎉🥇 . I knew you would fly through the theory test, just like you're gonna do on your practical test, so I'll be checking in on you again. Again well done and keep it up, I'm proud of you.
Thankyou 👍👍👍
When I worked in an auto garage I had a co-worker go for their bike licence whom had one of them apps. He went around and got everyone to try a test. Of course being a garage everyone thought they were an expert. Only a single person passed.
😂😂 this is really interesting 😂👋
Well done Andy, knew you would smash it. Good luck with your "big bike" assessment and test.
Thank you
🎉 well done Andrew 👏
I've still got my paper licence 😂😂.
❤Phil/Tina x
Thankyou
😂😂👍
Well done buddy and best of luck with mod 1. Got my mod 2 in a couple of weeks.
Good luck 👍
Great to see the progress you're making Andy 👍Good luck going forward 🤞😊
Thanks 👍
Well done , I’ve not long completed my mod 1 and mod 2 , I’m 64 years young, just waiting to get a bike , going abroad next year on a tour to France and Spain with my oldest son
Your tour sounds fabulous 👍
Congratulations Andrew! 🎉 had every faith in you! Well done ⭐️
BTW I still have an old paper licence before these new plastic things came out 😂 it's a bit frail and always gets some comments when I have to use it for ID 😅
Keep on biking 🏍 and hope you both enjoyed your celebratory meal 🍽 😊
😂😂 Thankyou
Congratulations on your theory test pass...
I too passed a test, the CBT! Unfortunately I didn't do it the first time round AND ALMOST GAVE UP.... but I nailed it today 😁 as of tomorrow I can ride my Zontes 125-g1 it's a scrambler type bike.
Too tired to ride anymore today LOL
Hi. Congratulations on your good news.
Safe driving 👍
COOOOONNNNNNGRATULATIONS Andy!! 🎉
I mentioned on your previous video to search TH-cam and “find the hack”, I’m glad you did as the theory is unnecessarily stressful, let alone the wording in the multiple choice tries to catch you out, but the hazard perception IMO does need to change, as having to learn the algorithm on a real life example isn’t really right - but YOU DID IT!!
Honestly now just enjoy, embrace everything and for you it will be nothing but enjoyable, as you’ve really worked so hard already, it’s just fruit picking now.
Enjoy
Relax
The 650 will be easier to ride
MOD 1 is a little more intense but an elaborate CBT - watch out for false neutrals
MOD 2 ride your own ride, don’t badly react to mistakes - just be safe
Pass it all and get yourself a SV650 for Christmas 😉
Really chuffed for you Andy, and thank you both for another fantastic video.
Hi. Thanks for this and your tips 👍
Bike for Christmas 😂😂😂
Well done it's harder now then when I did it in 1987
Thanks
Whoop whoop 🎉🎉🎉🎉 nearly there , get on there, we'll done
Thanks getting closer
Congrats. Now just remember, the clutch is your new best friend when doing slower stuff. Get the revs up, friction zone, slip clutch and you’ll crack those manoeuvres. Best of luck for next week.
Thank you 👍
I did my driving test 10 years ago and the hazard perception test was the thing I got 100% on. Sounds like yours was a little bit different. I just had a button I needed to press whenever I saw a hazard so where you clicked wasn't an issue
Thanks for watching
The thing to remember is that there will be a hazard in the video, so what i found was like you said, spot the hazard, if it looks like this is the one, klick it, then if it developes further, klick again. then again when your right on top of it.
Skatter gun method. You can't be to precise other wise you miss it.
Worked for me 13 years ago.
Good advice!
I did my Theory a few weeks ago and passed, thanks to same App but only JUST (44) passed on hazard perception due to same points you mentioned ! Love sharing this adventure
Hi. Thanks for watching 👍
Congratulations Andy. Well-done 👏👍. Took my Motorcycle Theory test at 52 after 35 years driving. Used the same app as you which was great. Felt weird, yes but it's just a means to an end. Now go get your Mod 1 🤞😮
Hi. Thankyou. I’m on it 😎😎👍👍
@bikerofatlantis Good luck. I've got my Mod 2 test next week 😬😅🤞
Congratulations Andy - 😀👍 And a celebratory rendition from Claire 👍😍
Many thanks! 🤩
That made us laugh 😂😂😂
Onwards and upwards. We'll done .
Thanks
Congratulations 🎉😊
Thank you 👍
Great video guys.
The hazard test would be difficult for me as I have been riding bikes for over 40 years, although I didn't take my test until 1996 ( passed first time) - it's all about learning what you need to do to pass the test.
Steve
Hi Steve. Happy riding 👍
Well done Andrew congratulations. I have to say thank goodness I don’t have to do this. Just goes to show when you’ve been a driver for many years how much we don’t know. Yikes 😮. 🤗
Hi 👋
Hi. Thanks for this and for watching 👍
Hi. Thanks for this, how interesting
Hi. Thanks for watching 👍
Very . Very well done , dont stop studying !
👍👍
Congrats Andy, the theory was the one I dreaded the most. On to MOD 1 which I loved and really enjoyed as I'm sure you will, good luck pal 👍
Thanks Steve 👍
Good luck, mate.
After doing my CBT last week, I think I need a 125 to practice on and get those gross motor skills before the rest of the training and tests... like you.
Just watched to the end. Well done.
Thankyou 👍
Well done Andrew. I’m loving these vids. Thinking of giving it a go. 52 now not been on a bike for over 30 yrs
Go for it 👍 let me know how you get on
Congratulations, this is amazing. Great progress on your journey to bigger bikes. Think you should have scored 50 out 50 on the theory though, what happened to the 1 mark - lol. Good luck on your MOD 1 especially the U-turn.
Thank you 👍👍
Hi. Sounds good, thanks for watching 👍
Many congratulations. Looking forward to the rest of the journey.
Thanks so much!
I had a paper licence only, until just recently as I passed my bike test before photocard ones were issued & I hadn't moved house since then. Good luck on your biking journey. Enjoy the ride. 🏍
Thanks for watching 👍
Well done for passing that first time 👍🏻now on to the the bike test 🤞
Thanks 👍
Well Done Andy. Another step closer. I'm looking forward to the next part 😁
Thanks 👍
Great story 👍👍👍👍
Congrats, the Tests in my country are way different than yours. I cant really follow what happens with your license, but a pass is a pass, as Claire said. :D
it's a very interesting video of a Motorcycle Vlog without a motorcycle. :))
Can't wait to see you on the 600.
Won’t be long!!!
Well done Andy. Really pleased for you.
Thank you 👍
