I've watched all of these reactors lmao, and the best is definitely Sofie. I wish she'd watch all my favorite shows, she's so intelligent and perceptive!
@ScrollNRoll This is a weird thing to say. Granted I watched her reactions years ago when they were new, but I don't remember anything that would indicate that Shan had already seen the show.
About 15 years ago I lent my Buffy seasons 1-5 dvds to a friend who had never seen it. I told her a teeny tiny lie that there was only 5 seasons. I told her not to look up the show online in case she read any spoilers.. She totally fell for it! She thought the show was over and was completely devastated that Buffy died. The lie was worth it, though. I wanted her to feel the same gut punch I felt all those years ago (I didn't know the show was coming back) She thought all her Christmases came at once when I handed her 2 more seasons 🤣
Well season 5 was the original end of the series which is why they killed Buffy like that. They ended up shelling out the money to bring everyone back for another 2 seasons once they realized they could squeeze out more, but yea that was how it was supposed to end before the studio decided they wanted to milk it some more
At this point, i feel like i have watched several generations of buffy reactors, and every time a new one starts i immediately follow and make them my friend for a while hahahaha do i have a problem?
And remember. Back in the day we didn't know if the show would continue. Every season had an ending that could have been used as an ending of the whole show. Especially this one. And we didn't have internet for rumours and news.
Actually we had the internet. The Buffy forums were quite active at the time. And we knew about the change from WB to UPN. It's was the budding 2000s, not the 1980s... 😉
@Best-of-reaction The content sells itself, I think. You don't have to get it perfect. I've watched lots of reactors with under 200 subs. As long as they care about the show or movie, it's well worth watching, even if there are some technical flaws or glitches.
Oh, great, now I have snot in my beard. I've always said, "Buffy is just a light, fun, supernatural comedy... ... until it isn't." 2 thoughts. 1. This episode, and entire season, was so powerful because they were planning these events 2 seasons in advance. 2. These 5 reactors were some of the best ones. I watched them all.
"Death is your gift" was so ominous, especially as delivered by the First(who was plenty ominous herself) and so seemingly nonsensical at first. Then as the hopelessness of defeating Glory grew, and the revelation of what the Key would do if it was used...the growing dreadful thought was that Buffy would be forced to kill Dawn to save all of Reality. One innocent life to save uncountable trillions of innocent lives. It was awful, but it really wasn't even a moral dilemma. "Death IS your gift." Then in one cascade of insights, it all became crystal clear. All of Eternity converged and collapsed into this single frozen moment. Choose Dawn, or yourself. Either way, The Slayer WAS the Gift, whether by sacrificing her soul or her life. Of course, for Buffy there was no choice to be made.
i remember watching this live back in the day and they didn’t announce that the show would be renewed yet, i think this is the season before it moved to UPN so as the audience it was very possible this was the last episode. at least now these reactors know there’s seasons after this… still makes me cry though rewatching it.
That first reactor saying "I don't understand" has me laughing lol. They were cancelled after this season, but when the two channels merged to form cw the show got picked back up so this was the original ending for the whole show
Which reactor was it who just said, "No no no no no no no no no..." I thought maybe it was Sofie, but I guess I was thinking of someone else. Anyone remember?
SPOILER ALERT 23 years passed so i guess it's not spoiler anymore but to be sure.: Still curious and kind of shocking to see that Glory was supposed to be the last enemy of Buffy. After that the rest of enemies were themselfs and The First which got that all power from seasson 7 because Buffy's resurrection (part of that Yin Yang from universe) So when she died, she deserved to rest in peace. It was a good ending from seasson 5.
Who is your favorite reactor or show? Who should I add in the next episode? Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe!
I love them all but ASR (Shan) clearly had watched Buffy before. Sooo many times you could tell. But the rest seem genuine
Dakara is fantastic
A tiè between the horror bandwagon and cass reacts

I think that's the most well-meaning prank I've ever heard. What a special experience for her.
Ah yes. The point where people finally realise what "Death is your Gift" actually means.
Until Season 6, when they realize the second meaning behind those words
Buffy the best superhero EVER.

Thank you for this video. I remember seeing each one of these reactors, and how heart-breaking the scene was.
I love these being put together. Helps me find good reactors that I haven't watched yet.
Poor domi.e 😂😂

I love these reactions 😍

10 days!
Best wishes for future success. 🙂
Thanks a lot. I made this just to learn video editing and i´m suprised it´s watched by so many people. tbh i´m still pretty bad at it.

Could be Lexi? Or Jules?
@@Cacjams
Might have been Lexi.
I'm not sure if I know Jules. What's (his or) her channel name?
@@Cacjams
Oh Jules! Of course! Australian Jules. I think of her as Juliet because I watched her gaming channel first.
Commenting for the algorithm
Thanks a lot!
