Good evening, George. That old washboard is neat. I have my grandmother's washboard here, and it has glass in it, instead of the tin. Was the Eskimo Pie sign an old one? It caught my attention. That dresser...or was it a sideboard...was fantastic. I really liked it. The deep red candleholder and footed bowl, at 4:56, caught my eye. I've seen decanters done like that, but I've no idea who made them, or where they're from. Loved the Daguerreotype. I really like the ones in the gutta percha cases, with the velvet. Mom used to have some of those, but she sold them when we combined houses. There was a Time-Life book titled _The Age of the God-Kings_ that caught my eye. I wondered if it was about the pharaohs. If so, it would've had to come home with me. I have several books on heraldry, but all of mine are focused on coats of arms. I liked the green Czech decanter set. Too bad it was missing the stopper. How do you ship eBay orders when you are on the road seemingly all the time? I'm very curious into how you schedule your time and if you have a home base, and how many booths you have!
I usually do a flight of eBay items towards month-end or beginning of the month when I know I'll be around long enough to ship, or I take them with me on my travels and ship from the road. I do have a friend who helps me a lot with eBay, and he handles some of it too.
Also, I always buy back ups - so odd numbers don’t bother me a bit! I have a house full of rambunctious and clumsy boys - so things are often accidentally broken.

If you mean in antiques and vintage items, my advice is to find something you like and will hold for a period of time, perhaps something made with precious stones or metals that would have some intrinsic value as well. If you mean finance, that will be some other channel.

Don't understand the stealing of Baby Jesus. But I have seen a Goodwill Baggie with a grouping of them. Which made me ponder a little bit ! I think someone was going to Get a Lump of Coal in their stocking that year ( or 2 ). :~)
Well George, I guess those stolen baby Jesus figures are on full display tonight at those certain "Christian" homes!!! LOL I almost fell out of my chair when you said that because we have also had SO many stolen through the years at our shop in KY!!! I thought it was just us!
Why did u let 1 broken dish keep u from buying those cool triangle dishes ? Do u kind of wish u had them now? It seemed they were the find u were most excited about today 🎉
I was very excited about them, but one meant an odd number, so really it was like losing two, and then I talked myself out of them. I should've inspected them closer, but I did notice scratching too.

Centenial by James Michener .? But i read his Chesapeake ( all my ancestors originated at Chesapeake ) Wouldnt ever read it again. Very depressing book ! Also have a Maritime book of ships of Cheaspeake bay as my fathers great grandfather Captained a ship. Was exciting to see the boats of the old days. I assume people from other countries arent fans of Jesus so they feel they dont want to see him. I know people cement their diplays in or build them into a box.
Sadly you can tell the stuff has been cherry picked. Google lens has really forever changed this market. It dont matter ones opinion on google lens its still forever changed things.
I think what I saw is that the stores are using Google Lens to price without understanding the market, thus overpricing them. I just look for the things they miss and there are plenty

Hello, I wish to start investing, but I don't know where to begin. Is there any advice or contact for help?

No, it's a real problem!
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😎😎😎
Why did u let 1 broken dish keep u from buying those cool triangle dishes ? Do u kind of wish u had them now? It seemed they were the find u were most excited about today 🎉
I was very excited about them, but one meant an odd number, so really it was like losing two, and then I talked myself out of them. I should've inspected them closer, but I did notice scratching too.
Disapointing

Hi pogo
You pronounced Aylmer correctly. Too many people say "Elmer."
I had a feeling it wasn’t Elmer!
😂😂
What do you like to read?
Mostly articles and short form histories and biographies
Great question !!
Hello,
I have several very old antiques, approximately 2,000 years old.
If you know someone suitable who might be interested in purchasing them, or if you yourself are interested, I can send you photos so you can take a look.
Thank you
I am willing to look, send an email to theantiquenomad@gmail.com
@TheAntiqueNomad sure. I will send you. Thank you for your reply 🌹
It sounds like you have an interesting family history! I think Michener can be heavy depending on the story but I liked that one
For a antique expert....that sure doesnt look like a real barn!
Lol you are right in that it is not the classic barn structure of childhood. Metal buildings pass for a lot of things nowadays
ha~

Edsel my favorite classic car. I saw ONE ever . At a car show least 30 yr ago. Was black and orange. And neat to hear your comments on it cause its what my father ( Ed ) told me abt it at the time. 🤎🖤🤎🖤🤎
That’s so cool! I see them once in a great while, they make under 100000 total so they aren’t common
