“I’m sure that’s an exciting organization!” You always crack me up George! I’m glad you tried on the pink flowered hat! As you passed all the prior hats, I didn’t think we’d see it! It’s something you do that always makes me smile along with saying “hello” in a mirror! There were a lot of very cool pieces in there! Thanks for taking us along!❤
My favorite was the turquoise section of kitchen vintage stuff. I have been looking for the chrome and Formica table like my family had. It was red - a large oval double drop leaf, where the legs swung out to support the leaves. I’ve never seen one like it anywhere.
Your knowledge about so many different types of objects just amazes me. 😃.I'm so gʻlad your videos came up in my feed. 👍. It surely didn't take me long to subscribe...⏳️...... Thanks for all the info !...🤗
I'm a grumpy fan and that pc. was so cute. That donkey in the cupboard was adorable. I have a few I collect. Well that was so fun George. You looked pretty good in that pink flowered hat. You're such a good sport and so fun. Just love watching. Love & Blessings Always
I know I’m ancient, but when you were looking at the flying saucer, to the right of it was a tin doll house that I had. I recognized the tile on the patio!
So many wonderful things, George. At 32:08 you showed the Betsy McCall’s doll case. I had the doll and case when I was about 6 years old. I have a photo with my Mom, Dad and I while I’m holding the case and doll. If I didn’t have the photo I would have never known I had the Betsy McCall. 😁😁 Thank you for sharing this place with us.
@@TheAntiqueNomad I wish I still had mine. I’m sure my Mom gave it to someone because she also gave all my Barbie things to my cousin. But, who knew back then? I know they all were enjoyed.
Hi George! The vintage clothing reminded me to tell you to pack your disco clothes for May 'Tique Stock. 🕺💃There is an idea to have a disco party on Saturday night! Sounds fun!
Shawn has DJ equipment, lights and at least three disco balls himself. I think he will help out. Just pack that white suit and polish up those platform shoes! Lol!
It's nice to have viewers from Australia! I’m glad what I’m doing resonates with you, I’d really like to get down there and see some of the neat things made in Australia. I’ve always wanted to have a piece of Wembley Pottery
Hi George, what fun vintage clothing. I thought the green cotton dress was very nice, then...that red hat! The blue refrigerator dishes are really nice. I dont see those often. I love the Jefferson clock. Safe travels ❤
The 50s-60s booth was like a blast from the past for me. On one hand, it’s fun to look at, but realizing that it’s in an “antique” shop is rather sobering. And Prof, you looked quite fetching in the pink hat 😊
Guess this is how they get paid in the out of the way places. Glad you found some affordables. I coulda spent a week looking at the lost in the 50s section !!!
Hi George. The Ruby Glass punch set is New Martinsville, “Top Prize.” We have documentation now that proves it is NM. Regarding the blue satin glass apothecary jar, so many people overzealously attribute all Italian satin glass to Carlo Moretti, when not all was done by him. We know of a few Italian makers/designers of this type of glass. And there’s a Pier 1 piece made in Thailand that erroneously gets listed as CM frequently. I wish we had more info and documentation on who did what. I am hesitant to call any Italian satin glass CM personally.
Absolutely charming video. I learn so much each time I watch. Do you think the vintage purses are holding their value. I love them and the vintage compacts but not sure if they are appreciated. ❤
I wonder if the concerns about microplastics will cause the price of vintage plastic dishes to go down, and refrigerator ware, like Hall Pottery, to go up.
I personally think that will be an issue. Lead glazes have certainly made certain dinnerware less desirable in the modern era, and I think the plastic fantastic era is soon to be a thing of the past
Good evening, George. Don't the original Coca~Cola trays have the trademark in the tail of the "C", in Coca? I don't know much about them, but that's what I've always been told. I liked the Millet print. The beaded purse was a nice one. The blue apothecary jar was nice. It had a Moroccan look to it. I like the individual-sized salt cellars. They would look good displayed on a wall nic-nac shelf. I liked the bamboo styling, on the Bali Hai chest of drawers. I like the annodised aluminium pieces, and I have two beverage sets in it. There were several things there that caught my eye. Thanks for taking us along!
08:58 West African fabric and probably Nigerian consruction. I nab West African, usually Senegalese, batiks whenever possible. Unfortunately the dress looked small - probably why it survived.
I hate to say it but you tube videos are getting way too many commercials to tolerate. It's not just yours, it's everyone's. Am I the only one getting all of these commercials or the only one who can hardly stand it? Your videos are ALMOST worth sitting through them. I have so far anyway. You always make me laugh!!!! You're jokes are good!
@joans20thCentury you are correct, Joan! When I see a lot of things lumped in together, it’s easy sometimes to not point out the nuances. My family mainly had the compendiums where several 78s were in one book together, so I think of them as albums, even though they were done as singles.
I’m so glad I found the antique nomad. 😊
Isn’t George so informative in so many vintage aspects?!
@ I hope he doesn’t break anything and have to buy it🤭
@@artistnumber12 I’ve been watching him for a longtime, So far… ✅nothing has been broken😊

I like trying things on, especially hats! I don’t really look good in a hat, so that makes it more amusing to me

I haven’t seen that dropleaf version in years Either, they were not as common new.
This is one of my favorite shops! Just about 45 minutes from my home.
It’s a great place to find unique items!

A lot of interesting items!
Wow, really fun shopping video! I particularly liked the fantastic color coded kitchen decor display areas.
That was a favorite of mine as well!
Great content ❤

It was a fun day at the antique mall! I’m glad you saw things you enjoyed too

Wow do you work hard! And you are so knowledgeable.
Thanks, I love what I do!
I love that teal cat Hager
Me too. Great color.

Oh, I’m so glad you spotted that after I saw the video. I thought I should’ve talked about Betty McCall dolls, but they didn’t have the doll with it.

Well, the good news is there’s still vintage until they get to be a century old, so we have some time
Really fun antique mall!
Love the kitsch!!
I just received the last album of the Bubble books I needed to complete the 12 book set-they are from 1919
Good one!
The rolly polly punch bowl is great. I’d use it.
My poor cousin took accordion lessons in elementary school (mid 70s) He had to tote that things back and forth to school. Walking uphill both ways lol
At least, I bet it felt like it. Those things are heavy.
Guess this is how they get paid in the out of the way places. Glad you found some affordables. I coulda spent a week looking at the lost in the 50s section !!!
Another great video packed with good information. My dream is to travel around with my kids as you do. Goals 😁🙌
Love the hair !
I finally donated the ponytail to locks of love . It took four years to get Long enough.
@TheAntiqueNomad I had grown mine to shoulder length but couldn't do it anymore (may have had a bottle of wine and took Beard trimmers to it) lol

I thought that aqua tray at the beginning was one of those flamingo ponds for the ceramic flamingos.
A sunny pretty Ga day

I certainly do well with both purses and compacts. Prices I see at antique shows, and shops seem like they’re holding up.

I know the commercials can be annoying, that’s why I went ahead and paid for the premium package, so I don’t ever have to watch them on any channel
Hiya!
Pink hats are not your color handsome. Blue 💙
I agree! I don’t really think I look good in hats, so I look for the loudest one I can find
Hi
Hi xeno n By George
78rpm records are made from shellac not vinyl, they are not albums but singles. You are old enough to know better George.
Really? A kinder tone would have been appropriate. After all, none of us knowor can recollect everything about a particular class of objects.
Holy crows, are you reprimanding him? Being kind and sharing info is very inexpensive!
Almost ALL of us knew what he meant, Peachy 😊

@ you are correct, usually 4 with a printed cover would have been referred to as an album.
