- Part 15 is all about finishing both Tomcats!
Background to this build:
At the start of March I took the silly step of building a large scale F-14 in 31 days as part of a Group Build by Justin Lentz here:

The ancient Revell/Monogram F-14A is one of three large scale Tomcats available and came to me recently so I thought why not!
I would've finished it but had an emergency cancer operation in mid-March, and I'm still in recovery mode, so this build will stretch out a little longer....

Great build!!! My father was the Chief Safety Inspector for F-14 for it's near entirety. Definitely an aircraft that holds sentimental meaning in our family. You did an awesome job. I'll be using this as a guide for my next F-14 build. Thank you!
Brilliant work , how you didn’t win is amazing
Great to see the end results Chris. they look awsome..
That kit must go back quite a few years..i remember buying one in about '77 i think
Wow. I've have learned a lot watching your techniques. I'd love to be able to do the same to a F-15 Eagle. The tonal variation is wonderful on such a huge beast
Stunning looking builds Chris.
😍 Will try applying your weathering techniques to my builds, love the results.
Absolutely fantastic 👍
Lovely results 👍
If you want a really unique F-14, maybe do an Iranian Tomcat (either Imperial or post-revolutionary).
