About the wing streaks, I saw on another channel someone doing them with the brush fixed in one position while moving the wing. Then he moved the brush to the next spot and moved the wing again, and so on and so forth until the whole section of the wing was streaked. With this method, we do not have to worry about the pivot point at all.

I am looking into this model and looking at hi rez images of the actual jet as much as I can. I can't help but notice that all models and modelers seem to overdo the panel lines. Or, perhaps that's the way it comes from the kit. I'd like to figure out a way to make them a bit more subtle...how might I accomplish this?
Get the Tamiya kit as the panel lines aren't as wide or deep as the Revell which are a bit out of scale, if that's what you mean. If you mean panel line shading or weathering effects - the real thing has dirt and touchup paint everywhere and the panel lines are accentuated because of that.
All that lovely grime and staining. 👍🏻
Really like the large scale Revell kit, I built the Revell 1:48 F-14 Mavericks Tomcat love that kit as well, great video friend.

Curious where you got your mottled paint look masks from?
can't recall - theres a variety of paint stencils available now - I think Uschi has them? Cheers Chris
