This is a series about bikepacking from Santa Fe to Las Cruces on the New Mexico Off Road Runner. In this episode, we wake up in a ditch, ride into the desert, Jabba takes a little spill (I get a flattie), we jump into the Rio Grande and make our way past the pecan plantations on our way into Las Cruces. Here for this bromance!
I’m not into beards but I’ll make an exception for Jabba 😂😂
Ryan, thank you for showcasing the best my home state has to offer in this New Mexico series. You and your good vibes are welcome any time.
Makes me want to cross the pond for a trip.
@@JRd941 - October! The best month to be in NM. Plus ABQ has the world’s largest hot air balloon festival, Balloon Fiesta.
Very cool! Viking is a cool dude!
We be liking Viking Biking
New Mexico is my favorite state to visit and this series you shot with Viking has been my favorite so far. Looks like y'all had a blast! Cheers!
It’s such a beautiful state!!
This was more romantic then love cycles 😂 great ride guys Loved it
What an incredible adventure, Beans! Loved every minute of it and the Viking was a great pedal buddy! Awesome stuff. Cheers!
Thanks a ton!
So cool to see the pecan plantations. Pecans are my favorite nut to eat when riding (2nd most calories after macadamia nuts). Hope you're enjoying The Tour Divide dude! watching your dot to see where you're up to each day. Keep on keeping on, brother.
Great series, Jaba goin' over the bars was unexpected. He really made the ride a bunch of fun to watch. I see he's also a man of culture because he also owns that awesome PI shirt.
He’s such a blast to ride with!!
Thank you Ryan for your amazing videos! You have inspired me to take my first bike packing trip at the Virginia Creeper trail. Solo at that. I ended up getting lost. Didn't make it to my campsite. Ran out of water. Ended the day in a hotel. Over 60 miles in one day lol ! Out of all the grueling moments I loved the life changing experience and would do it again. Keep making these videos as long as you can. You are helping the world. One person at a time : )
Awesome stuff Duzer! Jabba is a pretty cool guy. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Very nice. Not much better than good friends. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us.
Congrats on finishing, I figure that's never guaranteed.
Bravo...... copper canyon...........Mexico.......cheers.
Just finished this last one, another fantastic series again, top stuff. Enjoy the Divide
The Bro Montage is 🔥 🔥!!! Love you guys!!!
Blue Moon Bar!! LMAO!! It didn't used to look like that. Good series of my home state! Good luck on the GD!
That bro montage was perfect
What a great series! Really enjoyed tagging along with you and Jabba on this adventure. The video and editing was superb as well! Hope you two can go on another trip sometime. Thanks for sharing!
That "sappy bro montage" was so cute and hilarious!❤😅
What a great adventure you had! I really enjoyed every episode, thank you for sharing this with us!👍😊
Another awesome series Ryan, saved the drama until the end😉 The weather has been so bad here in Scotland but I managed a nice 120 mile ride last Tuesday👍
Good job fellas 👌
Absolutely loved this series, you two guys know how to have an adventure!
Another Epic Adventure 🚴♂️😎
Jabba is a Hoot 😁
Good Luck in the Divide Challenge.. 🍀🫔
Hated seeing the goat spikes, but loved everything else
Loved the bro montage 😂
Awesome series Ryan!!!
Nice tuck and roll Jabba!
What a fun trip, I am going to have to grab my sister and do it!!
The best day riding in El Paso was when I made the switch to tubeless. Those goat-heads are EVERYWHERE. I could go 10-12 months without a flat, but then I would go the next five rides with 4 flats. Insanely frustrating.
Hope this got you all warmed up for the big race!😊
The Thomas tuck and tumble was textbook. Way to show us how it’s done. Great adventure.
Such a great video!! The editing sounds lighting great job!!!
Great series Ryan! Hope the Tour Divide race is going well for you!
I replayed that part where Viking only said one or two of the mantras. And I was like oh boy, let see what happens later in the video. And sure enough a crashy and a flatty 🤦🏻♂️. Hope he learns the lesson 🤷🏻♂️😁
Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!!! 😆 I "ole" under all tunnels because of you! Lol it has stuck with me somehow 😆
I love your content have fun and stay safe out there! You're inspiring me to get out there in the near future myself! But it would be solo... Your amazing man! Keep being you! 👌🎉🥳🧿🧿🧿
I just ordered 2 pairs of your Ole socks! Can't wait to check them out! 👏👏🧿
Olè!!! I hope that you enjoy the socks, I love mine!! Happy trails
@@duzer 🥳🧿🧿🧿
Following you on the 'Tour Devide Tracker live'.. I really loved the connection the two of you had. Jabba is a fun guy and now I know how crazy this part of the world can be as far as weather conditions concerned..
I think you currently having a tough time with the conditions in Canada. I hope and think you will be entering the States today. I really admire you perseverence and despite the hardship you may be dealing with you will make it cause you have all that it takes to 'DO IT'..I wish you all the best xxx 💪💪!
We’ve been having rotten weather in Canada for the first part of the Tour Divide :( Hopefully it gets better for Duzer!!
@@heathervita4320 There is someone here on YT who gives updates on this tour so I was informed about the weather as well, but then again it's hard for me to imagine what this would mean for all the participents, but YES, lets hope so !
Thank you, Ryan, for another wonderful series to watch. That was very enjoyable. I live vicariously through you. I am 72 years old and have mild Alzheimer's so my wife won't let me go on a bikepacking adventure on my own. If I try she will call my doctor and have me committed to a medical facility. I am very forgetful but I don't get lost so I don't agree with my wife but I can't do anything about it. Thanks to you I can still experience the joy of bikepacking through your videos.
the peace of Christ to you Martin.... power of good thinking return to you in the Name that is above all names. Keep riding in your neighborhood. and Thanks for a good wife who cares about your big bad se'f.
@@drpulpit Thank you.
14:29 in FL we called those sand spurs. They will flat you and they hurt a lot when you step on them
ahh last episode already! Thanks for sharing! Hatch green chiles MMMMMM! When I rode across the USA I would jump fully clothed into bodies of water, it would keep you nice and cool for a bit in the 100 plus degree weather of the east coast and mid west. Lycra works great when its wet to cool you off. I like that big adventure shirt you have with the pee wee bike(well an ungraded version of pee wee's bike)! When I show people my bike they say that some times!
Loved this series.
Good luck my brother enjoy
Crashies and Flatties oh my!!!! But you 2 persevered!!! Glad Jabba was ok! What a great adventure and a new lifelong friendship Be well Ryan!
Great series.
:D It's absolute fun to see this journey. Watching along you two is serious fun lol! It's been a little different roads than usual, usually all gravel, but I remember a lot of asfalt in this one and than stretches of gravel roads, but watching some back, and yeah it is mostly gravel and a serious fun ride. So is interesting! Thank you so much for taking us along!
Great journey Ryan.
Brilliant trip. Thanks!
So good. Thanks Ryan
Ryan, another masterful and pleasant series. It is nice to see you accompanied with someone as great as "Jaba" He seems like an awesome guy to have around especially for treks of this nature. I truly enjoyed every episode, hope to see Jaba again on another one of your adventures. 😊👏
Great video series, Ryan! I am keeping tabs on ya on the Tour Divide and eating some bean burritos in your honor. Those goat head stickers are something else, and I hope you don't find any of those as you get to the south. NO FLATTIES!!
Great series! Thanks for the laughs and awesome videos. Dot watching is ok, but not as fun. haha Good luck on the TD!
Great series, Ryan!
That was a great video series. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your in my backyard .. i'm guy that talked to you when you rode the monumental loop .. you were flying the drone and I was the guy with the mule and the hound dogs ..some how your different in person lol
All your videos are amazing, but the photography in this one is absolutely superb! And the Viking is a great guy! Thanks so much for all you do to encourage and inspire!
I love you guys! What a great adventure. I can't wait for more adventures!
Loved it!
Great series! Love the collaboration with the HikingViking! Where does HikingViking get those awesome riding shirts?
This was so entertaining, and seeing NM through your eyes gives me even more appreciation to the place I call home. Thank you so much.
Best travel tip to New Mexico is there is bus connections for bikes from Denver - Boulder. That there is an alt to the North-South GDMR is another. Fantastic series well done for the duo!
You had crashies and flatties but at least there were no whammies! Great series man. I loved every minute of it!
Another great vid👍💯
It is amazing how plants can go traveling. Those goat heads hitched a ride on your tires. Now there will be baby goat heads all along where you traveled as they jumped off along the way. Nature is amazing.
Awesome!
Thank you for trekking the Monumental Loop! Well done. AND thank you for visiting beautiful Southern New Mexico and our beautiful city! Love your video :)
The bro montage was 👌
Loved this series because it seemed you guys had so many laughs and fun.
Bean burritos and peanut butter and jelly burritos are King! Well done lads!
A fine set of adventure bikepacking videos! Keep 'em coming!!
Thank you to always bring a smile to my face with your videos.
I hope you get to keep the beautiful blue test color of the new bike. It looks so nice. Here’s to beans and trails in your next adventure.
Bacon for the bright blue bike and bean burritos for the boys,
Best way to start off this beautiful Sunday morning being in bed.
What a great series. Absolutely loved it!
Awesome video 👏🏼 👏🏼 Thank you for the series and sharing your adventure
Great video. You guys had a lot of fun. I love beans too.
You two are great.. 💯
Good luck on the tour divide and hope you didn’t get too much snow
Thx, Ry. Watching your dot. Seems to be going well. Do good!
See you in Iowa.
Honest review….600x or your new bike after taking in this route? Overall pick? What was the deciding factor? Love your movies watch them all
We are TOTALLY struggling with our tubeless set up.... the valves clog up... we keep the tires spun, valves up we ride often and STILL have to disassemble the valves and clean them every time... frustrating
W jaba
One does not simply bike into Mordor.
How's the new bike working? Priority doesn't ship to Hawaii where I live now. I'm bummed. Are you ever going to design a mama ebike?
I know you are on the Divide, but is there ever going to be a 600 version offered in Duzer Blue for the rest of us?
Howdy Ryan...which bus line, how much, and did you have to box your bike for the bus ride back.
Ok, I don’t understand how you pack that bike.
You have sleeping bags and tents, food, where does it all go?
How did you find that trail?
How would you define a "whammy?"
Mechanical failures, I'm guessing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong =)
Who makes the shirt that Jaba is wearing? 🤌🏻
Pearl Izumi -Saw it at REI the other day
Mr. Van Duzer, right now the US is deciding whether or not DJI should be banned from FCC airwaves, banning all future sales and potentially grounding all existing DJI drones. Obviously, you'd be affected, how would you adapt if they grounded your drone?
