The Rock Outcrop of Dún Gráinne, Inishbofin, Co. Galway

This film looks at Dún Gráinne, situated on a rock outcrop to the south of Westquarter village. On the top of the outcrop are the remains of several hut circles radiocarbon dated to the Bronze Age, as well as stone fortifications dating to the Cromwellian period that served as a gun platform.
