      Thank you so much for your support. Unfortunately, I still have a sense of failure despite taking on too many responsibilities and tasks. However, I have come to realize that it was not I who failed, but rather my leaders who did not provide me with the necessary conditions to successfully complete the tasks. This has been confirmed since I began a school leadership program where I have read literature and listened to lecturers about the qualities a school leader should possess.
      I am actually recording a video tomorrow about a supplement that has helped me with stress management. However, this may not be relevant if you have already found balance in your life. Thank you for writing to me; I will keep your words in mind for future roles and assignments.
      Best regards,

      I started having pain while walking. I've been an avid brisk long distance walker since I was 23 & I'm 68 now.
      Last Oct., I was diagnosed with right hip arthritis. Immediately I researched pain relief for this condition & found RLT, or cold laser as some doctors call it.
      I bought a quality RL therapy pad for my hip and used it regularly atleast 2×30 min sessions. At the 3 week mark, I was now getting out of bed and walking without any pain or limp.
      I also had nerve pain around the right knee and IT band. It's all gone. If I overdo it, and the pain in my joint or knee ever comes back, I just go back to regular use for a couple of days and the pain is only a memory.
      My orthopedic doctor asks me what I am doing for pain relief. I told him what I am telling you. He was shocked I wasn't asking him for cortisone shots and pain pills.
      Eventually, I will need surgery but it is a miracle I can garden, I can grocery shop, I can pretty walk without any limp or pain and that is more than a miracle to me.
      Find a quality infrared light therapy pad and use it. You will see results, too. Regular use is important. Inflammation is a daily battle.

      Hi @joegood2474! Here's my conclusion: I believe it all comes down to the individual's specific needs. The higher the light frequency, the deeper the light will penetrate. I have a red light device by the brand "infraredi," model "flex max," with light waves at 630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm and 850nm. I think these light wavelengths cover a wide range of potential benefits. What I appreciate about this brand is that it uses a 30-degree lens in front of the LED light, unlike most brands that use 60 degrees, resulting in less focused light. @Philip.315  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi @dominikpanufnik8585! I tried using minoxidil around 2018, but I experienced increased heart rate, migraines, irritated scalp, and significant hair loss, so I stopped. I know that hair loss is a part of the process in the beginning, but at that time, I couldn't tolerate it, so I tried PRP treatment the same year, which cost around $1200. I saw a slight improvement, but the price was too expensive for such results. Today, I use "DHT-blocking" shampoo and caffeine shampoo and massage my scalp almost every evening. There are special techniques for that. I occasionally do microneedling, but I tend to forget to do these treatments, so I end up doing it at most once a month. But I believe I'm in a better place in my life. I've been stressed for several years, and it has affected me a lot, even my hair. But as I mentioned before, I will eventually lose my hair; it runs in the family. I think people from the USA, Canada, and the UK have better opportunities for alternative treatments than in Sweden. We are slow when it comes to such things. Feel free to reach out if you want to know more. Take care. Best regards, Philip

      Hello Arie,
      Thank you for your question. Without knowing your budget and desired size, my spontaneous suggestion would be "hooga." The 3-year warranty speaks volumes about the company's confidence in their products. They offer two light wavelength options in their panels (RED 660nm and NIR 850nm), which allows for a wide range of treatments. However, it's worth noting that some of the slightly pricier brands offer panels with 4-6 light wavelengths, which could potentially enhance certain treatments.
      From what I can see on their website, the panels don't appear to have a display; instead, they feature simple "on" and "off" buttons for different light options. Also, there's no built-in timer (you'd need to use your phone's timer).
      I've included a link below for you. While I don't have any experience with this brand, I've heard positive things about them from other TH-camrs and viewers. It seems like you might be able to order through Amazon? Feel free to reach out if you have more questions.

      Hello @rckyida971! I use both red and near infrared light therapy. I use them because near infrared light also stimulates the brain. There is research showing that light stimulation can both repair and prevent diseases in the brain. When I do this, I bend over enough so that my eyes don't receive any light (near infrared), as I believe it could be harmful to the retina. Sometimes, when I have soreness in my back from exercise, I usually extend the time by 2-3 minutes when treating my face with red light (which is recommended for facial and hair treatments). During that time, I just tilt my head slightly so that the front and temples receive a dose of the light. Thank you for your support, and I hope you understand my description. • @Philip.315
      @Philip.315  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have a few questions for you before I can answer your question. Does your sauna belt have both RL and NIR ? The basic principle is that you can only treat an area for about 1 to 15 minutes. However, if your belt only has RL, then you should be able to treat the "same area" since I assume the Red light panel treats a larger area than the belt. In that case, you would only be using NIR light, the light that is not visible to the naked eye. This way, I see it as if you are treating different layers in the body. Of course, you should not exceed the 25-30 minute treatment time, which is the general maximum time for a full day. I hope I've helped you more than confused you. But, as I mentioned, I don't know what kind of belt you have or which part of the body you are treating. What does the user guide say?

      Thank you for your concern. I actually went to a chiropractor and had 10 treatments. It felt good after the treatments, but after a few days, the issue returned and was almost worse. My doctor, whom I spoke to about it, warned me about chiropractic treatments potentially making things worse. I believe I have a combination of TMJ with cartilage issues in my neck and collarbone, all on the left side of my body. Unfortunately, this is the price I have to pay now for chasing dreams. Thank you again for your concern; I appreciate any tips I can get. I'm considering focusing more on flexibility/mobility and perhaps even yoga. Best regards, Philip

    There is information from a doctor that says: If you shine a red light on your body for more than 7 days, your bones will become brittle in the future. So I'm quite worried about this. However, I will be determined to do it. Watching the video you do very persistently, gives me strong confidence.

      Hi, and thank you for the coment.
      Very interesting, the only thing I've read about is that red light could potentially strengthen the bones, but it was just an article I read and not the actual study. Do you have a link to the interview you mentioned? I would like to read or listen to it. According to the FDA, red light is considered a relatively "harmless" treatment method, but there are always exceptions. The reason I'm wondering is because I'm taking medication that reduces my ability to absorb calcium and can therefore weaken my bones.

      Hi Tom (@tkorte101) !
      I'm glad you asked! Right now, I'm sticking to about every other day. Maybe for a shorter period, I'll do treatments every day if I'm dealing with an old injury. 10 minutes per body part, max 30 minutes session per day. I want to emphasize so you won't be disappointed in the future, but there's a chance I'll start changing my routines based on research I've started reading about. I'm planning to cover this in different videos about what research suggests or points towards in terms of treatment. Currently, I'm in the process of putting together a video about red light treatment against hair loss. Regards, Philip.

      @@Philip.315 Thanks for the replies! I think only some devices come with recommended programs. The Hooga doesn't but it contain detailed information about the produced intensity at various distances and a simple formula to calculate it if it's not listed. I guess they leave the application up to the end user because everyone is different.
      Looking forward to your video about it.

      Hi @mrkevinj! I’m using a brand called “infraredi” and the model I have is flex max. It’s few of the top brands that has campaigns so often as infraredi. For a example they were the only brand that hade 20% discount on Black Friday last year, which were the time I purchased my device and just a week a go they hade a” birthday” campaign with 20% discount. Other brand that I like but is to expensive for me is mitoredlight, joovv and platinum led. The last brand I mention has a model (biomax900) I wished I owned except for its beautiful display it has blue light. I made a video about
      ” 7 things I wish I knew before I bought my red light device” maybe you catch up some stuff that can help you. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. I wish you the best of luck Sincerely, Philip

    How do you target your laughing wrinkles? Do you wear goggles? Also what frequency?

    • @Philip.315
      @Philip.315  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @johnaspinall4096 ! That's a really good question. Personally, I don't use protective eyewear, but I've been considering getting tanning goggles instead of using the ones that usually come with the devices. I find that the protective glasses that come with red light devices tend to block the eye areas. That's one of the main reasons why I haven't been using them. But there are studies suggesting that it may not be entirely necessary to treat the exact "problem" area to see effects. When it comes to choosing a wavelength, it doesn't make a huge difference; there are good studies ranging from 590nm up to 660nm. I'll include a link to a smaller study specifically on these wavelengths for you. I want to emphasize that you shouldn't use NIR wavelengths (700-1060nm) on the face; only on the upper part of the forehead and the top of the head if you want to stimulate the brain. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. I've also compiled a comparison list that i created myself about different red light models with discount codes, which I'll link for you as well. Best of luck!

      Thanx for the tip! Im afraid of the side effects when it come to finasterid. I have been reading that a brand call "hims and hers" has a topic solution with finasterid and minoxidil. They say that topic solution has less side effect. But then on the other side a orol solution can "shrink" the prostate and even reason studie show that it could prevent heart disease. I might try it, I think here in sweden you have to seek consult with a hair clinic that can prescribe medicine such as finasterid. Regards/Philip

    Acne from chocolate? It sounds like aluminum allergy. I love chocolate Hershey chocolate was my favorite but I think they put their chocolate in aluminum at some point of processing it. I always get what I thought was acne but it's actually an allergy to aluminum. I know a young man that had severe acne all over his face that totally went away when he stopped drinking drinks out of aluminum cans.

      Here in Sweden we tend to throw out that word when it comes to rash/pimples in the face. But I believe that it leans more to that I am allergy to chocolate, it doesn’t matter what kind /form of chocolate the reaction is often the same. But will keep a eye on the aluminum. Thank you for sharing 🤙🏻

    You keep calling it an INFRADRED device, but as far as i an tell you use a Red and NEAR infrared wavelength device, which is a totally different thing.

    • @Philip.315
      @Philip.315  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "I want to claim that you are both right and wrong. What does NIR/NEAR Light stand for? It refers to the light that falls within the wavelength spectrum between 700 nm to around 2000 nm, which is classified as infrared light. But in this case, it's probably me making a direct translation from Swedish to English, "infra rött ljus" = Red light / NIR. Unfortunately, I work solo and handle everything myself when making my videos, so I don't have any specific person to ask for help. You can't imagine how many times I think about what I said after posting a video, even though I've checked it 5-6 times, and I still wonder why I didn't say it differently or express myself with those words instead. But I will definitely make an effort to avoid such translations. Also, it gets even more confusing when companies have similar names to these terms, like "infraredi." Thank you for the feedback. / Philip

      You can pair several red light panels together as long as they are from the same brands. For instance, my Flex Max can be connected with another one, provided it's an infrared panel. I'm not entirely sure if you need to buy any additional accessories to pair them, such as a stand or extra screws. I think you might also need to purchase an extra power cable to be able to connect them.
      Currently, Infraredi is offering a campaign with a 20% discount. Regarding the power cable, it seems that some brands, particularly those with a "pro" series, might have improved connections and length. I believe it's a good idea to consider brands that offer a long warranty and are FDA classified. Ultimately, a lot depends on your budget. Some reputable brands to consider are Mitoredlight, PlatinumTherapyLight, Infraredi, and Joov.
      There's a TH-cam channel called "Red Light Therapy Alex Fergues" where he tests and compares various models. Whatch his big tests on all the panel and how he ranks them. Feel free to ask anything if you have more questions! Best regards, Philip
