If you have not put the tank back in put some rubber mat under the fuel tank it will help absorb bumps and stuff and keep it from cracking again
Facts. I'm surprised the shop who installed it didn't do it. It can't be much more and definitely worth while. I remember commenting the exact same thing a few years ago when he started using the tank. Let's hope he sees this comment you put

Just a heads up Ruddy. Dually's are all long bed. Look at the Mega Cab Rams with a dually (they are one of the few short bed dually from the factory) they are a little odd looking. Just keep that in mind.

I don’t know why, but those OEM Wheels will always hit different for me. It always complements those trucks so well no matter the color of the truck.
Actually kinda excited to see what happens with the truck. Gotta think about all your vehicles you aren’t driving cause if they got in a serious accident just because of the rims or something you’d feel really guilty
you have to swap the axle too if you want to go dually the dually axle is longer to accommodate the offset of the inner dually wheel. just put a nice flatbed or australian style bed
Theres actually differences in dually axles. Cab and chassis dually truck has a different width axle than a dually truck that cab from factory with truck bed.
Might as well buy an actual dually rather than go thru the headache of swapping it. But that’s just my opinion

In my honest opinion I’d just trade it in on a dually if that’s what your wanting. You gotta look at the truck not only as transportation but as a business necessity. It’s what helps you make money. With out your truck your kinda screwed. It’s none of my business but i’d suggest getting rid of some of the rides that you have money tied up in that you really don’t “need” or aren’t investment grade and upgrade to a newer truck. For instance I’d consider getting rid of the M2 (if you still have it) especially if you have a payment on it. Also that’s assuming you need to free some money up. Either way I’d suggest updating over throwing parts at yours. But heck it’s none of my business, just my humble opinion.
You advise him to get rid of the M2 because of payments, but he should trade in the truck that's done him well for 5 years... so he can make payments? Swapping the bed, axle, and springs will take a day and cost him significantly less. It's easily his better option.

All and all it’s not a pissing match to say my idea is “better” than yours or anyone else’s. Offering suggestions just gives a person another way of looking at things. I could care less what he does it’s not my time or money.
Bruh you don't need a new bed on a tow rig. Not everything has to be perfect. Put the stock wheels on it and get the maintenance up to speed and let her eat

Yea...beds went up 3 times..in price. Long as she runs good..f it. Or get a bed. ..but with fuel in the back and trailer..it's gonna happen again
Dually swap would literally take 4 hours if you have everything.. as much as you tow, its worth it. Can get at junkyard or buy a wrecked truck for cheap.. done it several times. Flat beds are nice, but oem bed just looks nicer.
I'd just get the semi wheels at that point. Way nice looking and definitely serve a purpose!
They ride kinda rough tbh unless loaded with heavy weight buddy had some and got rid of them

If doing a dually conversion, you definitely need to put some Milled down alcoa wheels on it.
If you have a amp with 2 channels it’ll be green but won’t play sound just go with a new amp n save the 85 bucks

A little advice for straightening metal, always use a backer on the other side of what you're hitting. Notice how Trevor did it when he was fixing the exhaust with the piece of wood? It makes it move easier.

Don’t dually swap it or get a new bed, just fix the bed best it can be fixed and run it as is, it’s a work/towing truck

There could be a bad capacitor in the amp, I had a similar issue. It would come on and show good power status, but when it needed to be driven it would 'surge' almost. Ended up just replacing the amp, but there's places out there that could rebuild the amp.

Check the fuse my guy. On the amp. It was definitely overheating if it was cutting off. Honestly a better amp will fix that problem and you won’t blow fuses like crazy
Always stick with Oem wheels if your gonna be towing heavy stuff. The cheap aftermarket wheels are just for show, people who don’t actually use their trucks. Good call. It looks a lot better

If you don't already look at bushings for your slip tank mounting it should help the longevity of these welds from blunt force when the truck hits bumps or flexes.
Last time I had this sub issue. My amp would show green. And as soon as it would hit it would go red. There was a bad component inside the amp. Eventually the amp just died died
You should run the 19.5s commercial tires wear longer and less sidewall to make things sketchy when you have a blowout
Its not just the wheels that make the dually have more capacity. Plus the duallys run only on 8ft bed you're literally just adding all the cons with none of the benefits
Dually swapping your truck to pull that trailer isn’t needed my dude, the f250 has no issue pulling that trailer
Leave it on those wheels, Will be easy to get tires in a pinch, is proper for the vehicle, will be safe, will be lighter, and honestly look far better than anything I've seen.

You guys should upgrade the rear of the truck to dually rear assembly, since you guys use that thing to haul the big enclosed trailer. That is going to be more safer I think.

Taylor ray did the semi wheels with dually swap and did the whole interior and did a Cummins swap on it also. His truck is badass. But dually with the semi wheels is the way to go for towing.

Never liked all the aftermarket wheels you put on the truck. Don't mind the dents and scratches the rims made the truck look cheap
i bet money either the motherboard in the radio has a loose connection causing the rcas to intermittently go in and out or the rca wire itself is doing the same thing with a loose connection. i had a problem just like that and replaced everything but the headunit and finally replaced the headunit like a year later and the problem was gone instantly.

Your amp might have an issue with the motherboard or it has an issue with a bad capacitor overheating the amp a lot can damage a lot of components in it
