😆 I get that! Yeah excelent LP. I still have a smile on my face. Just got a new copy of Neil's Harvest (Archives Official Release Series - NYA ORS 04) AAA I believe and for 30 buck!!
Enjoyed your review! FYI the song on side two is pronounced Tamal pie as (all one word). It is in Marin County near where some of them lived in Mill Valley. Cheers!
Hey........do you plan in the future to get your hands on any of the MOFI one step Eagles or Acoustic Sounds Steely Dan UHQR? Would love to get your take on one or more of these, though they are expensive.
Funny you ask as I've been wanting some of those Eagles MOFI. Hotel California is currently going for $124.98 on Acousticsounds.com... Ouch.. I picked up Harvest, 1/2 speed Exile on Main ST and the new Pink Floyd Animals remaster yesterday for less than that. I wish Analogue Productions would get a contract to produce some of the Eagles content.
Your video and description of this album was great. Sadly, I’m going to have to buy it now. I didn’t want to. The originals are always in bad shape… I knew Garcia was on this, but I didn’t know Greg and Michael from Santana were on here as well. Crazy!
Great review, thanks! And now you've left me with a dilemma; I was very happy with my 2021 50th 33rpm reissue. What's the scale of the quality difference? Is it like the gulf between a clean but not special 33rpm CSN couch LP, and the AP 45rpm? Or even more?
Thanks for the kind words, John! I wish I knew the difference, but I don't own the 33rpm. If it's anything like the Rumors 33 vs. 45, then the gap is fairly significant. At least on my system and in my room. As they say, your mileage may vary. Thanks for watching!
As a side note, I do have the 24bit 192kHz hi-res file for CSN debut. Although it's comparing apples and hand grenades, the 45rpm far outclassed the digital file on my denafrips DAC.
The most underrated album EVER! I have been singing its praises for decades.
The best of the csny solo LPs!! And I’m a Neil fan!!

226, Happy to be here. One of my favorite albums, however I only have the original.
I don't know him. I don't want to know him. But this entire album is worth listening to.
❤

Ha! Thanks for kind words and the correct pronunciation. I did have a hard time with that one. Thanks for watching Chris!
Great in depth review on an awesome recording. Really enjoy your channel. Ultra clear visuals. Whatever camera your using is top notch.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm using a Sony ZV-E10. Sometimes I think the visuals are a bit too clear... :-)
