  • After having spent three weeks in Quartzsite, this is what we think. Is there anything to do in Quartzsite? LTVA (paid) or 14 days (free) camping areas, which is better? Will I be able to empty my tanks while there? All these questions are answered in the video. Would we do it again?

    Made it two months in Quartzsite. Pretty sure we won't be going back. Your video was pretty spot on, even a year after it was posted when we went. The cost and isolation from anything is practically a hostage situation. The road leading into Quartzsite (I-10) out of Pheonix was a nightmare and taxing on the nerves. The local restaurants and businesses had friendly people, yes, but the pricing was absurd and convience and conditions of their parking lots makes the whole thing a travesty and that's being nice.
    Good luck on your journeys, be safe and be well!

      Well, it seems Quartzsite didn't make it onto your "Favorite Vacation Spots" list! 🍵 Your two-month escapade deserves a bravery medal 🎖️ 😂l. May your future travels be filled with smoother roads and fun destinations. Thank you for watching.

    Agree with you…we stayed 11 days in LaPosa (as you said, with dump, water, trash). We were with a group that met most evenings around 4…occasional fires or outings. Most people seemed to go 4-wheeling but that’s not our thing. We walked a lot on some great trails that led off the “Magic Circle”, and I volunteered for a couple of days at the RTR - but yeah, we got bored. We think in a future year we might check out Imperial Dam or Mittrey Lake, because then we could kayak. Still wouldn’t do it for more than a month, though…we’d be itching to move. Btw, you guys might like Xscapers gatherings (they had one up at Havasu)…also I assume you’ve checked out Full Time Families.

    Nice videos. I’m liking the reviews of the camping areas. We are like y’all and like to be nude. How do you find time for those areas with your son with you? The nudest resort we go to is 21+.

    • @rvseeingyou
      @rvseeingyou  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We only go to AANR resorts so it’s not a problem! The Magic Circle is not 21+, it’s just an open area for people/ families who don’t mind being nude.

    • @rvseeingyou
      @rvseeingyou  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, we went knowing we were only staying 3 weeks, and we did. We were just pointing out that it was also cold. And most RV parks aren’t AANR friendly. If that’s something you are looking for, check out www.aanr.com/

      We full time boondock! We only RV park when we have to. Lithium batteries, 510 watts solar plus a diesel generator and we travel with 3 (5) gallon jugs of fresh water.
