hello, if by chance I'm taking a walk and out of nowhere it starts to rain, or if for a moment I forget to take the watch off my arm when taking a shower, is it resistant or would money be wasted because of my mistake?
Little splashes from rain or even just washing your hands and having water splash on it should be fine I think showering is technically not recommended although I did wear it in the shower as mentioned in the video and it had not giving me any problems so I would say it's up to you if you want to take that chance but it's probably not ideal to be in that much water that often if you can help it.

I don't recall the exact time it vibrates (maybe 3-5 seconds) but it def was able to wake me and I think would work for most people (other than heavy sleepers, maybe not so much for those individuals).
If it is seated properly and no buttons pressed it likely will be fine at shallow depths for short periods of time but best to avoid salt water as much as possible. Mainly they intend it to work with handwashing and maybe showering.
What I don't understand is reading the calories and steps. For example my calories burned says 11 on the top and 48 on the bottom. Is it trying to say 1148 calories burned?
This unit only displays in one orientation, due to that it will show top/bottom info rather than a landscape (sideways) full display. You'll notice the time is the same. If for example, it is lunchtime top should show 12 and bottom 30 to indicate that it is 12:30. I believe maybe that is what you are seeing and I hope that is helpful to you. Is it correct or not I cannot say for 100% certainty but it wasn't terribly far off from another fitness tracker (blue colored BT enabled tracker seen at about 1:17) so I assume the algorithm they use isn't too bad.

In order to properly calculate calories and such it needs this type info, different heights, for example, have different strides so to calculate steps this is needed and to get an average idea of the calories burned it requires weight.
