As a biologist, I tried very hard to explain even the craziest monsters in these games, including Eruzerion. The whole “it looks like it’s sucking” solidified my theory more. Eruzerion uses a Methane like gas and has spiracles on its body that absorb it from the atmosphere and release in onto the ground out of its paws. The cool thing about methane is that under intense pressure it can become flammable ice. So Eruzerion has organs in its body that can pressurize and ignite methane. It spreads it across the floor as its denser than most other gases, then freezes or ignites it. The thermochromatic fur and skin likely came later evolutionarily as a sort of aposematic coloration to warn other creatures of its combined body temperature.
Interesting. If you're interested in a challenge, I'd like your take on Dire Miralis. A giant dragon with mortars for wings, lava for blood and a heart that keeps beating after you cut it out.
It took about a month before the very first player was able to beat Burning Freezing Eruzerion (The I think Peerless version of Eruzerion). It is by far the most difficult monster in the entire series.

One dual element type I would love to see realized in Monster Hunter is Water and Ice. Have the Monster place water puddles on the ground similar to Namielle and then use its ice to freeze them over or create pillars. Or make it a duo Monster fight like the Ray and Lolo Gougarf. One Monster uses water and the other one ice attacks. And when their attacks hit each other they creates different shapes of ice crystal formations.
An arctic subspecies of Namielle doing exactly that would be really cool. Imagine him covering the ground with icy brine that would then freeze into icy spikes impaling anything standing there.
@@buragi5441 that is technically how all the "dual" element monsters in the main line games get their 2nd element. From the environment. been waiting for this one babbbbbbyyyyyyy
Not gonna lie, they lasted longer than I thought vs Extreme Eru.
24:00 you know what would have been funny is if it came up saying "cotton has disconnected"
Oh well that's... cool. He forces you into a cutscene and forces you to take damage. Yeah, that's fun and fair.
And I know what you mean about Dual Elemental Monsters needing to be subtler. Like Namielle is a perfect example.
Nah you can skip the scene and rage has a bug it shouldnt take damage
Cry more
They really ran outta ideas and said “YOO I GOT A SICK UNORIGINAL IDEA LETS STEAL SHOTO’S QUIRK AND GIVE IT TO A MONSTER”
The other ppl:”bet”
5:25 It’s funny the instant I saw this guy I said that’s just Todoroki as a monster and I’m happy I’m not only one.
Blue crimson!!! The dual blades of ICE and fire in the manga Rave Master appered in 2002 in japan 😁
I think whoever wrote the description had a stroke
"[...]oh yes Monster Hunter Eruzerion Sunbreak Eruzerion Frontier Magnet Spike weapon[...]"
Oh! Would you just LOOK at the _exquisite_ symmetry!
Goku did the Kamehameha Wave with his feet. Lol
How are you guys playing frontier in english??? I would love to do the same
ICY HOT: The Monster.
Eruzerion seems to be the teenage, angsty and angry Version of Kulve Taroth, trying to decide who it is. And Kulve is the mature, Glam-Crazy version that wants to be pretty and hates when her Make-Up fails...err, yeah....My Brain is weird. Sorry!
I for one have wanted a viking funeral for the last 15 years.
Is this what happens when Zinogre has a hot drink and a cold drink? No wonder they're not in Rise.
With the horns and the fanged wyvern body Eruzerion looks kind of like Kulve's edgy child.
19:16 WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA ?!
8:45 but i've yet to see one in the mainline games; same for (land-locked) dragons with the Leviathan skeleton.
Leviathan skeleton is a wingless Fatalis skeleton. Also, Dire Miralis (I think that's who you were referring to when mentioning land-locked) is using the full Fatalis skeleton. Its "wings" stretch the same way Fatalis wings do, which looks very weird since it's supposed to be rock.
@@kingofflames738 *facepalm* let me be MORE precise: think Royal Ludroth... but if it looked like a crocodile and spewed fire instead of water.
something like *that.*
Great glorious monster, he inspired by Gill from SF3 a Capcom game too.
When you two get stronger I want you revisit these extreme versions monsters and try to beat them, that’ll be lot of fun watching.
True slays? ....... (inhale) _No._
Repels? Maybe.
What’s the swaxe cotton is using?
If shoto todoroki was a monster this 100% would be it
Got to ask am I the only one who actually likes how eruzerion looks
Ah yes todoroki!!!
That's my new favorite lance
You should try frontier crimson fatalis. I think you'll have fun with him
Best. Rap. Ever.
This monster HAS to come to Sunbreak
I wonder if they are going to do the other fire ice elder dragon disufiroa
Can't wait for Berserk Laviente
It's the baby of Zinogre and Cotton's ex-wife Kulve Taroth.
Why does it have a royal ludroth tail with round about staircase for horns whith a zinogre body?
this is just kulve taroth before finding gold
0:00 An example of how underwater combat should return as.
to put it as short as possible, this monster looks more like a pokemon
Magnet Spikes look like a fun weapon.
So did I miss Disufiroa or are they saving it for last?
Guys, i don't think they're ready for this
AYYYY MY BOI
Can't wait for the Blinking Narga episode if they thought this was difficult
Blinking is nothing compared to Peerless Eru
@@kingofflames738 Nah I'm talking about regular Eruzerion whom they were struggling with...
just imagine this thing in sunbreak g rank so many burning screaming wirebugs so many hunters palicos and palimutes fleeing for their lives
