Schumann, a Master of harmony and melody. As a 12 years kid I played a lot of Robert's work, even made a composition that qualified me the entry at the Norwegian Royal School of Music back in 1975, I remember so well, of course, I was afraid, playing Haydn, Bach and Chopin too. I came through,. Two years later I attended the Conservatory of Richard Strauss and composed a lot, it was appreciated and the world premiere found a place in Bavaria and Norway. Then I tried to survive as a composer. It went bad. I'd had to find some other work of income, it resulted in the funny job as a taxi driver. Now I'm free and I can tell it all. I'm a pensioner and have a silent good life, don't worry about me :-)Worry about Robert Schumann, he was a haunted soul, poor man
Whenever Wolfram plays Schumann, Schubert or Mendelsohn he always comes up as a superior master, technically and artistically. I wouldn’t compare him to any other great pianist- he is in the class of his own!
Steve Gallo: Unfortunately, I do not understand German. I would have liked to know what was said , as you thought that it fits my situation perfectly. But I take life as it comes. Thank you for trying to help..

Do you have an advice for Schumann’s piece for me to practice? I never play his piece before.
The mental comfort of these piano works is irreplaceable , and universal, and full of far superior splendor

Chi suona Schumann deve essere eccezionale come lo stesso SCHUMANN che è il mio compositore preferito !
Brillant performance & interpretation of Schumann piano works!
Bravo!👏💐❤️
There's no history about those pieces? I love when you tell the creative process of every composer.
