Its now longer. Which makes it impractical in tight places and subdivisions with houses that dont have parking lot. Thanks God i was able to acquire the 2023 1st gen. With super practical dimension.

thanks sir reygan for checking first the e cvt, at least we get to compare it w/ the available top spec variant which is the G. Also like some of your critical take like having this or not having that feature like reverse camera or having a few features since its a starter car. Keep it up
I 'll go with G , too many lacking with E such as push start, reverse video parking, automatic adjustable side mirror , digital aircon, adjustable seat height for driver and, 4 speakers for just only 45K additional.
Almost of good value, if not for those carry-over MANUAL side mirrors, NOT just manual-fold which we don't mind at all but manual-adjust sucks for a 2024 model, even the S-presso has power-adjust mirrors.
The anemic engine can be forgiven since its just an econocar(tho would rather get the Brio or Mirage still) and it now has a CVT but this is still somewhat a bummer that they only gave all the added safety features and all-LED front lights and called it a day.
Very much willing to lose LED's for power-adjust side mirrors, indicators even on the fenders and a 3rd brake lamp.
Let's not even talk about the J, it simply is ridiculous.

You can now feature the Mild-hybrid version of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro before the Mild-hybrid version of Tiggo 5x Pro. The latter is expected for 27th of July Philippine debut.
A power adjustable side mirror would be great for the E variant - a little more work to adjust the right hand side mirror from a driver position, well it's not everyday you have to adjust it unless bumped or driven by someone else. Yet it's still a good car.
Why? Out of 100 cars in any given parking lot only 1 car has its mirrors in. Pinoy's just don't care.
You see the accident in Mandaue? Drivers don't know how to use their blinkers/directionals. Are they lazy or dumb or both
Eto sana target ko na pasok sa budget. Kaso nang gagago nlang si toyota. Walang power side mirror adjustment pero may steering wheel audio control. Mas importante side mirror! Mid spec yan? Nagpapatawa si toyota.
Get the Honda Brio instead
Sukat po ba yung deep dish & trunk tray ng dating wigo sa new wigo? Saka sunvisor po?
Toyota should have just put a power adjustable side-mirror since this is the mid-spec variant, and put the manual adjust for the base variant.
E variant na yan pero side mirrors manual type. Climate control knob type din and mukhang wala sa paa - same sa previous models. Seats naman parang sa previous models din difference is medyo pinalaki and pinalapad lang. Hindi din ginawang push start. Tapos yung price ranging from ₱648,000 to ₱684,000. Yung price nya G variant na ata sa previous models. Ngayon ask yourself kung worth it pa ba? 😂 swerte yung mga nakakuha ng first/second/third facelift na wigo dahil sila nakakuha ng tamang price.

Cvt is a way better transmission for smaller engines as they can manage torque better than 4 speeds.
unpopular opinion: i don't like the way it looks more like a sedan now. mas gusto ko young hatchback looks ni wigo from previous models. hehe. baka sa susunod na models they'll bring it back.
Hope Reygan gets to drive this car to tell us the NVH.
Vios's NVH is pretty darn good for what you pay for it. Heck it's even better than Veloz or Avanza! If Wigo's NVH turns out as good as Vios, it's a 👍 for those people plying SLEX/NLEX; if not then better stick to within the metro.

The non-power adjustable side-mirror is a real deal-breaker. Would rather sacrifice rear power windows for power adjustable side-mirrors.
Yup. On this day and age atleast power adjustment should be the minimum for a modern car.
Hence I took the spresso ags over this with the same exact reason. Not to mention ground clearance and reverse parking plus fuel efficiency. 💯

To start, I also love power side mirrors .
But to tell you about practicality, power side mirrors arent a necessity to be a deal breaker. It breaks easier and folding it accidentally by other people (specially when you live in normals highly populated areas with no spaces like manila) can cause it to be broken easier by other people and would be costlier to replace when broken and or stolen.
Majority of wigo buyers live in tight spaces and places where other vehicles and people usually go by having a manual mirror helps you maneuver aroundand not worry that your mirror will be expensive when the motor breaks from the siksikan of these tight traffic places its a practical option and not just something they chose in the variant just to deprive you of good features ♥️ dont take it negatively but be holistic before you comment as well :)

CVT is good but it will be a better upgrade if they make it a 5 speed automatic. CVT to be honest is not reliable after a long period of time.
But this is toyota, known for durability
The shift gear is now “normal” compare to the previous gen that is ultra ugly.
It looks more like a ford fiesta or honda brio
