He's not saying he doesn't like the states, he even dreamt about living there. And both Boris and I can't wait to travel there soon and meet our friends! So please, don't be too quick to jump to assumptions. We know its not all as portraited in the media. America has lots of beauty that we are excited to explore. Feet-Fingers!!! 😃😂😂🤘 Don't worry man, for me as a Gernan this makes totally sense, we have several terms in our language to describe objects by appearance or association, for example (talking about fingers) we call gloves "Handschuhe", what would translate literally as "hand shoes"... or "Nacktschnecke" (lit. > "naked snail") for "slug" because it doesn't have a shell... and the snail shell is called "Schneckenhaus" (lit. > "snail house")... I could go on forever with this, and many Germans who don't speak English very well actually do talk like this. All the time! Even politicians! Embarassing! 🙈 ... so I guess what I wanted to tell you is you don't have to hide your English, it's not that poor 😜😁
I suppose the thing with Nazism is that it's not inherently about totalitarianism. The only Nazi party that ever got into power was totalitarian, but all the actual policy ideas about race and economics could all happen democratically.
Four fascist parties in power come to my mind without even thinking about it (Germany, Spain, Croatia, Italy). After thinking I can add Romania and Ungary. And I think there is more. All of them were totalitarian. Of the literally hundreds of fascist parties over the years I cannot think of one that isn't.
i am muslim but i listen to black metal, thrash metal, punk, death metal simply put extreme metal. i think the riffs are awesome. we have a few black-thrash metal bands here in my country like cromok. nightwolf. theres more but i forgot. theres millions out there like me.
Tak payah cerita cromok Kat sini, bukan thrash pure pun, malu org research satgi org kata poser,, BlackMetal, Deathmetal, utk true metalheads undergrounds sahaja, cromok bukan undergrounds, yang faham underground pure pun bro Sam seorang ja, yg lain ala ala ja mentality mainstream.
@@MalaySovereign faham. Tapi satu benda la bro, aku jenis layan music. Knowledge ke ilmu ke kult ke letak tepi. Aku appreciate music. Sound cromok untuk casual listeners dah fall bawah extreme metal or metal or rock. As a teacher, Aku pernah buat test on 140 casual music listeners aged 17-23. Semua letak bawah extreme or rock sound. Tuk casual listeners tu da "keras". Underground ke mainstream ke tu semua label. I hope tuan faham apa yang saya cuba sampaikan. Ada ja band yang lagi extreme dari cromok. But main point is cromok punya harsh vocals, heavy riffing are keras enough for casual listeners. And aku just bagi example kat mamat tu one of our prized bands yang ada unsur2 keras ni.
9:50 childish take. It’s not about ‘seeing’ a god. God or spirituality is a deeply personal and individual thing. God could be emotion of love you feel, the positive energy you feel when you meditate, it could be the law of attraction. People who take spiritual texts so literally and think that a god is a man in the clouds (could be too - who knows) are totally misguided and missing out on a lot in life in my opinion. To think god is even something that can be comprehended by our human brains is even highly unlikely.
I agree with you, but I think its best to just let athiests discover spirituality in their own way. I find that preaching only pushes people away, its not like they need God to be good people, so why bother them? Let them find out in their own time, if not in life, then in death
@@josephinehendrickssome people don’t experience spirituality or at least not often. I have to be absolutely awestruck by something to feel anything close to what other people might be talking about when they say “spirituality” or “god”. Most of the time that part of me is just kind of…dead. But that doesn’t bother me. I still have a strong moral compass, I have a sense of responsibility to others, I love my friends and family, and I have a lot of empathy and compassion. But that’s just being a prosocial person. I have to see something very amazing in nature or hear some really incredible music (usually for the first time) to feel like there is inherent meaning or power in the universe. And that doesn’t happen every day.
it is true, in Italy it is a little lacking from this point of view, hidden realities, perhaps before you move it would be great if you met some Italian black metal realities, even historical ones, allow me to suggest the Roman band Aborym (Attila Csihar was of great impact on the album With no human intervention), but there are also others anyway long live the 80s, and congratulations for the chosen musical inserts, glacial synths as much as the images you showed us
Most RABM is made by anarchists who don't support regimes of any kind. Panopticon in particular is very focused on nature and standing up to governments or corporations. Spectral Lore tends to be very philosophical and his music explores transcending human limitations. I'd encourage anyone to explore those kinds of bands. You can disagree with them but they aren't hateful people and that's what matters to me.

Hey Brois, How do you feel about Absurd, Der Tod und die Landsknechte, and Leichenzug specifically? I see all the videos posing Mayhem and Burzum as the most “hated” or controversial bands, but after learning the story behind Hendrik Möbus, I have to say it seems Absurd would be more controversial. I personally like the sound of Absurd over most Black Metal bands, not all. It is strange the comment people associate with NSBM about “political”, for the most part, Absurd mostly focuses on Paganism and Medieval times, I understand double context can be applied, but direct translation or meaning doesn’t point to politics.
@@bdawg3942 he killed a classmate who was going to tell about someones mother having sex with a student at the school. Then Hendrik got in trouble for something after release from prison, hoped a plane to US, got the dude that wrote “The Turner Diaries”(I think) to hide him, US Marshals caught him, and deported him to Germany, he went back to prison, Wolf and Unhold continued the band. That’s what I have read/heard.
@Misanthropist bro wtf are you talking about? I’m talking about from the mainstream crowds opinion of them, I own two Absurd vinyls and have a few shirts I bought from Weltenfiend. I don’t see any NSBM band being as good or impactful as they are.
For the NSBM question, I prefer the music way more than the political ideology itself. I mainly try to ignore the lyrics, and just hear what the music sounds like (which they are good despite what the controversial themes are all about). Hate Forest is my favorite band with its cool riffs and relentless 90% blast beat headbangers. Glad you mentioned Alan Wake since it's a good game.
@@ChristopherYork1978 I do prefer more on the music as long as it's musically good. Do I agree with its political theme by condoning it? No. Does that mean it deserves to get canceled? No, because somehow RABM is being acceptable despite the Marxist ideology also being not good. So I'm just gonna avoid dealing with a bullshit political flame war on the internet by saying the music is better than the political totalitarian lyrics. Period.
@@GenZ-Euronymous Lol, fuck a fascist trying to push their ideology spewing bullshit that would have some dopes thinking an antifacist group is the fucking problem.

Great answers. Did enjoy hear them all. I am mainly goth, but do enjoy the metal bit a lot too. And I guess it's the same no matter music taste. People always assume you can't listen to other things. I do not agree with the ideology behind NSBM and related bands at all but some of the bands are just too good to disregard as a black metal fan.. Nokturnal Mortum, Absurd, Grand Belials Key, Clandestine Blaze, Kristallnacht, Peste Noire, Naer Mataron. I listened to these bands before I knew about what NSBM was and I refuse to put them down. Some of the best and most talented in the genre.

Been interrogated for a similar reason, merely for stocking primarily European music here in America (paganism in general). What's amusing about that, is that half the bands I've released: the members all have darker skin than I do.
Hey new fan checked your band out very awesome . Also like black metal fan . Also seen mortiis .few year back last band I seen was rammstein in Sweden Gothenburg . Hi from Glasgow in Scotland
The whole nazi thing in bm is interesting. Personally I don't fw bands that have overt glorification of NS ideology. I'm also hesitant to support groups who give monetary support to neo-nazi organizations (Marduk unfortunately did get outed a few years ago for buying tons of merchandise from a swedish neonazi site). But there are lots of bands which use the imagery just to be provocative, and who toy with nationalist themes a lot. To some extent, we have to just accept that interesting extreme artists are often crackheads and nutcases. It does rub me the wrong way though when I'm enjoying some Drudkh side project and suddenly the song is called "disgusting breed of hagglers" like come on man can u just write about something else? 😭
+1 to northern MN. You curate the northern venture and I'll bring Borist to some shows here in the cities. I bet Borist would actually enjoy a week in the boundary waters.
I got a handful of NSBM albums, some are great albums, couldn't give two shits about their political beliefs and don't promote or indulge in them myself but every now and then I'll be talking to some random metal head, dropping a few band names that we are listening to and I've dropped a NSBM band name and i get that look like I shouldn't be listening to it, fuck that
Hey Boris i'm from mexico city and your comment about America that maybe you won't feel safe sounds a bit ignorant or maybe you watch a lot of TV. You can have bad experiences like any other place, now México is one of the most visited Places in the World.
For me, neither politics nor religion has anything to do with music itself... not even in black metal. Of course the bands from Norway etc. saw things completely differently in the 90s and I respect that... but that still doesn't mean I agree with them. I was active in the underground myself from 1998 on (yes, also as a musician) and had my own band... but I generally banned political or religious texts. If someone didn't like it, they just had to find another band. Good black metal lives from the atmosphere and the coldness of it. It doesn't take much to have this feeling: Just take a walk at night in the woods, look at the stars in the sky and just hear the "silence". Religion and politics have no place there for me. Don't worry man, for me as a Gernan this makes totally sense, we have several terms in our language to describe objects by appearance or association, for example (talking about fingers) we call gloves "Handschuhe", what would translate literally as "hand shoes"... or "Nacktschnecke" (lit. > "naked snail") for "slug" because it doesn't have a shell... and the snail shell is called "Schneckenhaus" (lit. > "snail house")... I could go on forever with this, and many Germans who don't speak English very well actually do talk like this. All the time! Even politicians! Embarassing! 🙈
... so I guess what I wanted to tell you is you don't have to hide your English, it's not that poor 😜😁
well, Italian black metal includes Mortuary Drape and Necromass
I suppose the thing with Nazism is that it's not inherently about totalitarianism. The only Nazi party that ever got into power was totalitarian, but all the actual policy ideas about race and economics could all happen democratically.
Four fascist parties in power come to my mind without even thinking about it (Germany, Spain, Croatia, Italy). After thinking I can add Romania and Ungary. And I think there is more. All of them were totalitarian.
Of the literally hundreds of fascist parties over the years I cannot think of one that isn't.
This is so prophetic - 11/5/24 is proof
i am muslim but i listen to black metal, thrash metal, punk, death metal simply put extreme metal. i think the riffs are awesome. we have a few black-thrash metal bands here in my country like cromok. nightwolf. theres more but i forgot. theres millions out there like me.
Tak payah cerita cromok Kat sini, bukan thrash pure pun, malu org research satgi org kata poser,, BlackMetal, Deathmetal, utk true metalheads undergrounds sahaja, cromok bukan undergrounds, yang faham underground pure pun bro Sam seorang ja, yg lain ala ala ja mentality mainstream.
@@MalaySovereign faham. Tapi satu benda la bro, aku jenis layan music. Knowledge ke ilmu ke kult ke letak tepi. Aku appreciate music. Sound cromok untuk casual listeners dah fall bawah extreme metal or metal or rock. As a teacher, Aku pernah buat test on 140 casual music listeners aged 17-23. Semua letak bawah extreme or rock sound. Tuk casual listeners tu da "keras". Underground ke mainstream ke tu semua label. I hope tuan faham apa yang saya cuba sampaikan. Ada ja band yang lagi extreme dari cromok. But main point is cromok punya harsh vocals, heavy riffing are keras enough for casual listeners. And aku just bagi example kat mamat tu one of our prized bands yang ada unsur2 keras ni.
Very excited for the Ritual.
The feet fingers finished me🙃
9:50 childish take.
We need boris and fenriz hiking trip!
Very good channel. Thank you.
Love the video Boris!!!
it is true, in Italy it is a little lacking from this point of view, hidden realities, perhaps before you move it would be great if you met some Italian black metal realities, even historical ones, allow me to suggest the Roman band Aborym (Attila Csihar was of great impact on the album With no human intervention), but there are also others anyway long live the 80s, and congratulations for the chosen musical inserts, glacial synths as much as the images you showed us
Most RABM is made by anarchists who don't support regimes of any kind.
I love Death SS!!
I'd love to see a video about/ where they are / he is (Steve) from !
😎🤘
hello from new zealand!...mayhem played here in christchurch 2 weeks ago!...meet attila outside the venue..passed by the 2 gutiarist .....necrobutcher and hellhammer where nowhere to be seen...was a great show
I just got my Tryglav sweatshirt and I can’t stop admiring it! IT IS JUST SO COOL!!!
when you move to norway please come and play at Karmøygeddon metalfestival and in Kristiansand 🤘
Hey Brois,
How do you feel about Absurd, Der Tod und die Landsknechte, and Leichenzug specifically? I see all the videos posing Mayhem and Burzum as the most “hated” or controversial bands, but after learning the story behind Hendrik Möbus, I have to say it seems Absurd would be more controversial. I personally like the sound of Absurd over most Black Metal bands, not all. It is strange the comment people associate with NSBM about “political”, for the most part, Absurd mostly focuses on Paganism and Medieval times, I understand double context can be applied, but direct translation or meaning doesn’t point to politics.
Didn’t Mobus do time and informed on other Nazi’s?
@@bdawg3942 he killed a classmate who was going to tell about someones mother having sex with a student at the school. Then Hendrik got in trouble for something after release from prison, hoped a plane to US, got the dude that wrote “The Turner Diaries”(I think) to hide him, US Marshals caught him, and deported him to Germany, he went back to prison, Wolf and Unhold continued the band. That’s what I have read/heard.
When I say “he”, that’s wrong. It was both brothers, and Unhold, I think. They strangled the other kid, and took turns stabbing him.
I knew this wouldn’t be answered or recognized. It is really the most hated band, Absurd. The band is completely avoided.
@Misanthropist bro wtf are you talking about? I’m talking about from the mainstream crowds opinion of them, I own two Absurd vinyls and have a few shirts I bought from Weltenfiend. I don’t see any NSBM band being as good or impactful as they are.
Awesome music bro.
Kinda dig the new studio tho 👀
For the NSBM question, I prefer the music way more than the political ideology itself. I mainly try to ignore the lyrics, and just hear what the music sounds like (which they are good despite what the controversial themes are all about). Hate Forest is my favorite band with its cool riffs and relentless 90% blast beat headbangers.
Glad you mentioned Alan Wake since it's a good game.
Yeah you support nsbm. You're giving money to the people that most likely hate you. So congrats idi0t.
I sure hope you prefer the music more than the ideology, lol
@@ChristopherYork1978 I do prefer more on the music as long as it's musically good. Do I agree with its political theme by condoning it? No. Does that mean it deserves to get canceled? No, because somehow RABM is being acceptable despite the Marxist ideology also being not good.
So I'm just gonna avoid dealing with a bullshit political flame war on the internet by saying the music is better than the political totalitarian lyrics. Period.
F**k antifa
@@GenZ-Euronymous Lol, fuck a fascist trying to push their ideology spewing bullshit that would have some dopes thinking an antifacist group is the fucking problem.
man I cant believe your first dip into black metal in 2004. I was selling my black metal/death metal shit to new kids then lol.
Couldn't agree more. Humans created "God", not the other way around
you're such a chill guy
We need Zimorog and Tryglav collab
where did you get such an awesome pentagram ring?
There's a link in the description to the website
You get by on 50 Euro a week in Norway!!!!!!! You gotta show me what you buy from Rema 1000 for a weeks shopping. I'm English & my ex lives just outside Bergen (Frekhaug) and I did a year living with her & I found the cost of living horrific to say the least. Each time I'd buy something & the cashier would say the price my voice was equal to the vocal by the band Silencer.
Hahah I know the feeling.
I remember the first time when I bought a small bottle of water for 4 euros! 😂
I'll do a video of a grocery one day.
Thanks a lot for answering my questions, Boris. So, each to their own, as it is written on the gates of the famous death camp. Actually I forgot to asking you about someone, who is croatian as you. Do you know Sablast of Zimorog? How do you think about him and his activity?
I know and follow Zimorog. Some of his videos cracked me up!
@@borist. Zapravo, ti si cool i sjajan glazbenik. Nemojte tu stati.
Great answers. Did enjoy hear them all.
I am mainly goth, but do enjoy the metal bit a lot too. And I guess it's the same no matter music taste. People always assume you can't listen to other things. And often get suprised if they start knowing you.
Awww... W.A.S.P and Mötley Crüe... when I didn't be stuck with goth in my younger days... those 2 was my favorites back then (that wasn't goth).
Think it's awesome you admit you don't like alcohol. Then people can see that you can still be cool without alcohol. Not everyone dare tell they don't drink/not drink much.
Gosh! You are definitive a tall one!
Greetings from Sweden. 🦇🖤🖤🖤🦇
for the nsbm questions, the lyrics are part of the music, it's impossible to ignore, I prefer not to hear and not finance this garbage
thx for ur input ricardo im sure ur mexican opinion and mind is of high value
@@100mangroper Yes, you're right, my opinion and mentality have much more value than yours!
Exactly. I listened to several of those not even knowing “NSBM”was a thing. I just enjoy the music. Not gonna stop listening either.
@@allstopblue5717 A lot of the time black metal lyrics and themes promoting aryan european heritage are labeled "Nazi ideology" which imo is incorrect. If you can have black pride, gay pride etc; You can have pride in European heritage.
@@aintskurred918 they're just often paired so it's something to keep an eye out for if someone cares to investigate further whether a band is ns or not. imo there's great riffs in nsbm but im not gonna promote them or give money for them to buy nazi shit with
I can barely understand what they're singing most of the time ngl 💀💀 as someone who strongly opposes NS views I'm just here to enjoy some riffs
Lmao. The reason why blacks and gays are in the focus and why it should be more visible to be proud of their identity is because of discrimination. People of european heritage are hardly victims of discrimination, on the contrary. What a fucking clown you are.@@aintskurred918
Where you got your sigil of Lucifer necklace?
Love it!
The question i want to ask:
Do you enjoy dsbm? What do u think about this genre?
Let me tell you, America is not safe. Look at the interesting places online. I would love to live in Norway 🇳🇴. Being that I am half German,🇩🇪 I believe I would fit in like a perfect puzzle peace. 👌🏻meow 🐈⬛
You could do a video on that group of extreme metal teens who ended up killing their friends...thats an Italian metal story...
I love NSBM because I don’t understand what the lyrics say anyway so who gives a shit if the music is bad ass
The same song aa farvann, nice!
Dsbm, Decalius, highly recommended
Great vid as always ;) take care man! Any info about signed CDs of Triglav ;)
If there is a band not many people have heard of but you like them and want to travel to their town or something, do it. I'm not a big black metal fan but love your channel. it's a pretty slim chance that I will be able to travel to Norway/Italy/etc so it's nice to see those places, and not through a polished, influencer type video.
Your favorite game is Dark souls?
I have no idea how many times i have raged at the game and broken a controller😂😂
Anyway tho nice video and so cool that you will be moving to Norway my home country hope i see you one day🤘🤘
At the beginning I installed and unistalled it 3,4 times 🤪..
I hated it and loved it at the same time haha.
When I learned how to play the game, it was just pure enjoyment.
Finished already 4,5 times.
You'll probably see me around. Check out of your window sometimes. There's chances I'll be there filming 😂🤘🏻
@@borist. For sure😂👍
Dark souls is great. But Elden Ring definitely wins 🖤
Hey, what's the song playing at the end? Awesome riff
Ma Boris tu parli anche italiano? Complimenti per i video. STAY Metal
Been interrogated for a similar reason, merely for stocking primarily European music here in America (paganism in general). What's amusing about that, is that half the bands I've released: the members all have darker skin than I do.
Boris, if you ever come to the States, you need to visit Florida.
hey man! Canada is in America and we pretty fucking peaceful XD you are welcome whenever you want
Hey new fan checked your band out very awesome . Also like black metal fan . Also seen mortiis .few year back last band I seen was rammstein in Sweden Gothenburg .
Hi from Glasgow in Scotland
What current situation?
Great video Boris - always wanted to know why you're vegan and how long, can't ever go back to animal cruelty 🙏🏼 great video quality btw, new camera?
Yeah I have a new one for these type of videos but it's hard to edit the colors so I just put a lut but I didnt like it at all. Glad someone like it 😂
If German gloves can be hand-shoes, toes can be hand-fingers.
If u want me go be honest i just paused my game and hung up on my friend too see if u answerd my question 💀
Man you have good movie taste, i mean i respect all different ( almost all) but Carpenter and Black metal.. there is some cool pattern hère
Awesome video ready for the new album satan
What are your thoughts on DSBM?
Come to northern Minnesota it's cold and grim like Norway just avoid Minneapolis
+1 to northern MN. You curate the northern venture and I'll bring Borist to some shows here in the cities. I bet Borist would actually enjoy a week in the boundary waters.
2:03 for the NSBM question
you are a good person
Evil Lucifera is from Milan, if I remember correctly. Not sure if she's still active though
What is your favourite Death Metal band?
Hello everyone

Nice you are from hr
you will be ok in USA, come stay with us I will be your guide.
I was referring to US man.
I'd love to visit mexico
US is safe too
For me, neither politics nor religion has anything to do with music itself... not even in black metal.
