Fantastic episode and many amazing points by the sister which I think now I'll be more or less non judgemental about sisters with loose Hijab knowing it's a struggle. What I find really interesting about Hijab is we never find podcasts as beautiful as this one because either MUSLIM MEN find every opportunity to attack those who don't wear it correctly or females without the correct Hijab telling other sisters don't let anyone tell you how to wear it so well done for a really good discussion. I've been listing to after maghrib now on almost every episode and its always nice to hear our shia sisters speak as this is very rare to see online on TH-cam and on your podcast. This reassures us that there are still amazing men like yourselves and women who haven't lost their ways and one example from this podcast is look how seyed ali almost 80% of the time avoiding looking at the sister mashallah. God bless you all ameen rab al alemeen ❤

Just because you were judgemental doesn't mean other men are when they give sincere advice.
I am not talking about myself because I never spoken to women about their hijab. But those who sincerely do umr bil maroof a core shia belief. It is terrible unislamic advice to tell men they shouldn't do.
So don't know why you think it was so great when we have host saying men shouldn't do

What load of rubbish to generalise like this. Majority of Muslim women don't even wear hijab especially in the West!
Of course no one should be attacked for doing good. But to portray this as a main issue is a joke

Men have no right to police women’s hijab if they don’t practice hijab themselves (lowering the gaze, not looking at inappropriate things)

You contradict the Quran based on your own opinion nothing more. Conflating two different issues to justify your own insecurities & based opinion.
:“There should be among you, a group who should call (the people) towards goodness, bid (them) to the good and forbid (them) from the evil-they are the successful people.” (3:104)

"Say to the believing men that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste). This is better for them. (24:30). Say to the believing women that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste)… (24:31)."
Allah tells men to lower their gaze FIRST, but our societies have neglected this fact.

First of all stop lying men are always told this. This verse isn't mentioned without this being said. Rather than cherry pick one verse and manipulate childishly take the Quran & Hadith holistically.
Core principles within islam is enjoining good & forbidding evil.
There no debate on this it is clear cut in the Quran & Hadith.
Allāh says: “…The believing men and the believing women are helpers of each other: they bid the good, forbid the evil, establish the prayer, pay the alms, and they obey Allah and His Messenger-these are the people on whom Allah will be merciful. Indeed Allah is Powerful and Wise.” (9:71)

@28:00 I agree with what she’s saying about social media influencing women’s self esteem a lot. But it also has to do with men who look at plastic surgeried photoshopped make upped women and make comments to their wife. Even if they don’t make comments, women notice you looking. We realize that’s what you men like and that’s what looks good, that’s where your attention is going. So therefore women will do those things to compete with the rest of society for their man’s attention. If men LOWERED THEIR GAZE, and only pay attention to their wife, then it would help women’s self esteem more than anything.

12:10 The ignorance of this host is high level he arguing against Quran & hadith. He going against a core belief of enjoining good. All based on his opinion and nothing else. Which seems far more influenced by his western thinking. He needs to rein in his personal opinions that he claiming as part of islam.
Our Prophets were men, our imams were men, our marja are men yet he giving his own made up fatwa's.
How you say it, when to say etc all will have some form of etiquette. But to say men can't he is part of the problem of islamic Society today. Extreme sensitivity where giving advice for someone own good is seen as wrong! The decisive exaggerated language he uses.
They aren't my words I heard it from a cleric who was a son of marja. Hurting someone ego isn't the number 1 factor. If genuine in belief they should reflection their practices. I seen it said direct by high scholar once with meeting with Bashir Najafi he said it direct to a woman in a gathering.
How extreme are going to go the quran can be quite harsh in rebuking over sins. What he going to say about that. Ooh we can't do that.
There famous story of Imam Husain said to Hurr that his mother should have lost him. I have seen some argue against this. But as scholar said sometimes individuals need a wake up call.
Women from subcontinent are notorious for getting called up by other women for not wearing socks when ziyarat. Sure enough when they go to Haram they get told there by security.

12:45 what load of rubbish a Muslim man has a beard he faces possible discrimination it isn't just a woman. I have had decline shaking hands with a female director. If sister advised Muslim man it is wrong to good on them. His warped argument is westernised one.

13:08 works both ways my brother looked for years to find a wife that wore hijab. I appreciate the struggles of sisters who wear the hijab.
I worked in an office where Muslim sister started wearing the hijab I supported her. When she stopped wearing again because nonsense of man can't say anything I didn't say anything. Truth was right I didn't enjoin good because this western mentality one these hosts is spouting.
Regard of what comments you get it is islam that counts not opinions they don't what is better than Allah (swt)

10:55 prime example of the issues with this show when you have pathetic arguments by lay people giving so called islam going against Quran & hadith.
