      Freedom oh and you're talking about enjoyment when it is a matter of degree. You must know about relativity theory by Einstein! How it feels when it's winter and you just wear bikini outside? How it feels when you wear thick jacket in the summer? No one will ever burn their skin by wearing bikini in the desert. Some people may feel comfortable to show most of their body part in public but some don't. We choose to wear hijab because we believe. It's free to believe what we want to believe and also it's free to not. However, aside from religious things, I like to wear hijab and it makes me more comfortable and confident 😜

      Freedom what makes you think Muslim woman wear only black. Have you been to the Middle East. I work here and I can tell you there are more women wearing high end International designer fashion than in your western countries. Lv, Prada etc are common practice here. Wearing the Black abaya is actually not Islamic but cultural which the Arab is very proud of. They do however not wear only the abaya. Ps. Women are definitely not forced. Even in KSA women are not obligated to wear the abaya. Dont believe everything you hear in the media.

      Just type into Google the following keywords : Euronews Belgium the First Islamic State in Europe and type into TH-cam just this: Belgium the first Islamic State in Europe and
      you will see why people are attacking it. Yes, there is an Islamic party in Belgium, with seats in the Parliament, seeking to implement Sharia within their programme. If they win, they will establish a Caliphate and there will be no democracy. And if they do not win now, they may in any of the coming decades as Muslims will be a majority in Belgium. If this is not worrying for you, then I can't help you.

    It is oppression to tell a woman what to wear and it is also oppression to tell a woman what she can't wear. If she's doing it for her, let her. These women are free, let them be.

    • @mostafae4108
      @mostafae4108 7 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      Aman Deep so by your concept, the less clothes you wear the more free and liberated you are ? Lol. So the most free and liberal people out there are people walking nude in the street? Haha. And you also understand the whole "free the nipple" move wrong, the idea behind it is if men are allowed to show nipples then why aren't women. It has nothing to do with dressing more or less. I'm a feminist and I think telling women what to wear is what's considered oppression. If they WANT to wear hijab and are FULLY CONVINCED it's what's right for them, it's not affecting you in anyway then why are you bothered by it ?

    • @bedfordsophie5197
      @bedfordsophie5197 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I agree 100% that beating women for showing skin is unacceptable. It sounds like you're saying that because it is forbidden elsewhere to reveal skin and hair and here it is not, that women should show their skin/hair. But the point this is trying to make is that modest fashion is ok. Women should be able to dress how they want and as a nation that prides itself on freedom, America should lead by example and show that there is no danger in letting women dress how they please, wether it be for religious, cultural or whatever reason as long as it is a free choice. I have worn modest clothing and a turban before and I have also worn dresses and shorts, and i am free. Just like my convert sister. And we mean no harm and no harm is done unto us. All I ask is that you respect that.

    I am a western Muslim working in a Muslim/Arab country. I have al visited other countries in tge region and barring KSA women are not obligated to wear the hijab. The places where this is enforced is not due to Islam but rather due to how men interpret Islam. I wear my hijab by choice see it as how i express my faith just like nuns do. Freedom should not be selective according to the standards of others. If you are free to expose your body, I should be free to cover mine. Both options are liberating as it is a choice by the woman. Where there is no choice is a seperate issue altogether.

However wearing a hijab does not give you protection against sexual harassment and that if you don't wear one you will automatically get harassed. No matter what, women will always get harassed no matter what she is wearing. It's the men who need to be taught not to harass not the women who are told to hide.

    Yo its true that in England they always stop hijabis. I always went through Heathrow Airport in London and they always stop me. I remember I was like 15, and excited because we were getting on the plane first in line, so we could get settled in first. Me and my brother who's a year younger than me so we're practically twins are walking together with my dad behind me and a woman stops me just as I'm about to enter the plane hallway. I'm so confused. My dad starts telling her that I'm a kid, a teenager, because he definitely understood what was up. She didn't care and literally pulled me aside and randomly searches me then and there in front of everyone who were now passing us and watching me. She opened my purse, sifted through my things, and opened my pink cell phone, asked me to unlock it, and started looking through it. My brother and my dad stand by as the lady does this. We were the last people to get on board, and it felt like it was my fault. A young girl shouldn't have to feel like that.

Allah says in surat 25 ayah 70. if someone says that you can not become a muslim than he/she has wronged, that would be preventing someone from entering islam , and islam is for everyone. if someone has tattoo and was not muslim than they got it out lack of knowledge and has nothing to do with entering islam. it is only after you have become muslim and gained the knowledge that you are accountable.

      Do you believe that jihadi jesus will come and defeat dajjal on judgement day ?
      Do you believe that non muslims will go to hell ??
      Do you believe that a man should beat his wife according to Qur'an 4:34 ??

    • @maryamkhan7953
      @maryamkhan7953 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bruhboi348 Quran 9:29 does not actually say to kill non Muslims. That was taken out of context. It means to kill those who try to kill you and harm you and at that time, when the verse was revealed, non muslims (polytheists) were trying to kill the Muslims.
      Second, Men cannot beat their wives but can teach them a tiny lesson without hurting her physically when the wife is being extreme eg. When the wife is mixing with other men in an improper manner or when the wife is very very rude.
      Third, there are enough scientific matters written pertaining on how man was made from clay (have you hear of primordial soup? It's something similar) As for women being created from a rib, that is from the story of Adam and Eve. Adam was made from clay and a wife was made for him from a crooked rib of his left chest. That's the story. Then they married and got children and thus came about the entire human race. It makes sense since there has to be an origin somewhere in history from where the humans came (there's a lot of missing points in Darwin's theory and he himself said that if there's anything that disproves him then his theory is false) There's also a saying that a crooked rib is delicate and if you try to straighten it, it would break so you need to be gentle and patient with women.
      Those who believe in Allah believe that he has power over everything since he is the creator (otherwise how else would we or the universe exist?) And since he is powerful enough to create it, surely he commands the suns, moons, and planets to stay in a fixed orbit (the orbit part was mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago before anyone found out about it in the first place. There are a lot of things in the Quran that helped with scientific breakthroughs and it is held in great esteem even by scientists who actually read it).
      Lastly, There are multiple things that keep getting proven correct in the Quran that was written 1400+ years ago eg. Moon controls the tides( Newton theorised in 1687) , the development stages of human embryo (was proven later in 1800- 1900), Earth will flip over and the sun will begin rising from the west (Mars has already done that a few years ago and it has been proven that the other ones beyond it have also done it. Now Earth is next in line), etc etc
      So if soooo many statements can be proven true, is there not any basis that the rest of the statements are also true? For example, Jesus was never crucified and what was crucified was a fake. And Dajjal could exist (You already see Illuminati and the current media which promotes those things) So why can't it just so happen that Jesus comes and slays Dajjal?
      And super lastly, unless you are an atheist who is trying to prove a creator exists, you'll definitely try to simply brush off what I typed out. Please keep and open mind to the world around you and don't be so quick to reject things. Even Muslims consider everything halal unless proven haram. Thankyou for reading till the end.

    Last year, in the UK, I trained in advanced CPR with a fellow nurse who was a Muslim. She was wearing a Hijab. When we had to practice how to palpate for the carotid pulses in the neck of other trainees, she refused to allow them to do so as she would not draw her Hijab aside. When we went on to carry out CPR techniques on the Resusi-Annie she stated she could not do the chest compressions as she was weak from fasting, it being Ramadan. After the training we all returned back to the surgical unit where we were working. Those skills could have been required immediately for a post-op patient with complications. Whilst I think it is wrong for governments to legislate for what people can put on their heads or on their bodies, in their own free time in a public space (like a beach re the Burkini), it is absolutely imperitive that any religious observances DO NOT intefere with carrying out your professional duties. Particularly when those duties involve the safety and wellbeing of others, whatever their heritage or religion. Of course no one would challenge this nurse on her religious observances making her unfit to carry out her duties for fear of being labelled racist and the employer being sued! I have lived abroad in a completely different culture and amended my behaviour to the local norms in deference to that country's culture. If you cannot do this, why choose to live in such a completely different culture anyway? It is not down to your host country to bend to your ways but quite the reverse, as it would be if a secular atheist like myself lived in a Muslim country.

    It is true that in some countries and in some cultures, women are forced to wear hijab. It is also prominent in some countries, that women are being forced to wear less and are sold as sex slaves. No matter where you look, there is oppression everywhere and in every form. If a Muslim woman CHOOSES to wear hijab, she is not being forced to do so. If you actually read the Qur'an, you would see that force is FORBIDDEN. Men and Women are equal and Women have RIGHTS. Educate yourself before telling someone else they're in the wrong. And I would also just like to say, telling a woman she CAN'T wear hijab IS OPPRESSION.

    Many Muslim designers fail bc they pile so many layers of clothing & complicated accessories.
    I feel a panic in the heart of the Muslim designer, wanting to create beauty w/o deep reflection on the fundamentals of what makes a thing beautiful. Like that designer wearing layers of pure pink w/o regard of how it all blends, just bc she loves pink.
    There is a level of maturity thats not there yet, probably due to youthful desires.
    More often it is the customer that actually creates the right look, but is never heard due to the arrogance of the designer cult.
    Other failures occur when, designers strive to beat each other according to some surreal std set by Masters whose minds have left the real world. Architects suffer that issue most of all.

We are constantly ridiculed for believing our holy book is true and how we raise our children. Why are devout women of one faith being embraced while allowing another to be oppressed? I think there would be great power in a partnership of women from all faiths who value modesty and want to dress fashionably. I heard no one in this video address marketing or embracing the common value for modesty they share other conservative women in the US.

      I guess everybody tries their best in whatever they're doing. It's better to do one out of two things than to do nothing at all. We are all striving to be the best that we can be but challenges come in different forms for everybody. One person might struggle with the hijab but has no desire to wear makeup whereas another person might be the complete opposite.

      They are free to do everything they want. Plz respect their right to cover their hair n being modest. Make up? Why not... Definitely they are free to do so. As long they are not harrasing you or kill you.

    In the West, us women are also quite oppressed, only communication media and proaganda makes us think we're not. We're still told what to wear and how much skin to show, at what age we should marry, how to live so we are considered successful, and our sexual rights are still under attack. The ignorant comments down here saying that wearing a hijab means you are repressed is just that, ignorance. Let women dress, speak, live and have sex in the way the choose to.

    We are all indivisuals and if you do not believe this then try help those who are in truly trouble, no matter a belief, people will always twist verses and ideas to their own satifation , leave me to be and I will leave you to be, if you feel violated or being lied to by muslim men and women and Islam its called being human and having fears, its how you express them that matters. BTW I am a muslim person, both (just a clue if you're thinking of treating me like anything less).

    If it's so fashionable then why are women in the Islamic Republic of Iran tearing their hijabs off under penalty of Islamic law. I lived in Istanbul and I saw numerous women with or without the hijab but in many Muslim countries they have no choice, they are also open to rape. I very rarely see a woman with a hijab in my small Arizona town but I don't bother them. I still wonder if they prefer sharia over constitutional law in America??? The niquab or full body tent does offend me. Will you also make that fashionable?

    Niat tidak menghalalkan cara. Tho you have faith, but puting tatoo after revert was just one thing after another. Youve got to stand on how syariah has guidelined for you, your solat, your quran reading till you cry coz you understands, these things make you different from the non believer. to do the solat and all, youve got to be clean from those haram checklist. Dig more, seek answers, its okay to question so much, only if you want to better from it. We can do this sisters of Jannah.

    Is this foreign funded just like with Imams in Austria to promote similar Muslim agenda in US? Muslims want to promote their way of life over American way which is quite the opposite of what we call "assimilation" to a life style of the host country. I think every woman who has dignity should boycott events like this.
