This ED is about the only thing good that came out of Deen Stay Night, at least just read VN for the saber route if you're anime only, but I'll still recommend to read the other routes, you'll probably still do so if you do end up reading it since its that good. Reading the VN actually gives Shirou's character justice, especially how poorly they did it in Deen Stay Night, even UBW works isn't perfect in that regard, its a shame so many people pass up the VN.

Rewatching the anime before hf3 releases. This whole anime was overhated, i felt like they did a good job with it, not perfect of course but most people only hated it because it didn't have ufotable animation

Nah, Heaven's Feel normal ending is the saddest not including bad endings. Though if we're just talking about just songs here, this is my favorite Fate ending theme between Fate 2006, Fate Zero, and UBW.

They have those feelings, but they can't reach each other, which is quite bittersweet and in away, mellow. On the other hand, Heavens feel bad ending is more of a depressing sad. It's a bad ending duh, lol. But the good ending is somewhat also bittersweet too, you got to be with Sakura, but you have to say good bye to Saber and Ilya.
After I watched FSN UBW I would say that I will keep this FSN as my favourite, the story is just beautiful and sad, I watched this one in 2010,and BTW it was my first anime

Yes! Even thought Kenji Kawaiis composing style might be simplistic, it catches the epicness of FSN way better than the ufotable composer (not that he is bad, just not powerful and memorable enough)

It's a shame that the movie is also just average; the Unlimited Blade Works route had been condensed too much that I wasn't able to completely connect with its events. Like the quick annihilation of Berserker without the long internal monologue of his relationship with Ilya, the few Shirou/Rin moments, and the feeling of the whole story being rushed.
This is definitely my favorite of the three versions of Fate/Stay Night. 1) I like the romance between Shiro and Saber as well as Saber's final scene with Bedivere after having destroyed the Holy Grail, 2) I think Archer was much more likeable as a character in this version and that he was a huge d-bag in Unlimited Blade Works by comparison, 3) This is the only version of the story where Illya doesn't die, and I especially did not enjoy watching her get brutally murdered by Gilgamesh in Unlimited Blade Works, and 4) Having started on this franchise by watching Fate/Zero first, I think it's most fitting that Kirei Kotomine would serve as the final antagonist alongside Gilgamesh in this version rather than being killed by Lancer to leave Gilgamesh as the sole final antagonist in Unlimited Blade Works. And no, I have not watched Heaven's Feel, and I don't particularly plan to because I read all I need to know about the films' events (which I found to be just a little too tragic for my taste) online.
Wait there's a Bedeviere in the first series ? I watched it donkey years ago so I've to go back n see this. I thought Zero had a really dark messed up though.... appropriate ending. Apocrypha, now that was one bloody sweet ending. That's why Saber and Ruler will always be the best

As much as people might say skip stay night, I really enjoyed Stay Night. It got me into the novel.
You gotta admit even though DEEN adaptation of FSN is not good with fighting and drama scene, they really nail it with emotional scene and OST
