I play Vynnset as a side deck and this was the most informative deck tech I've ever seen. Showing key cards, arsenal targets, and playlines was brilliant. Earned my sub. Would love to see gameplay analysis and future deck techs like this.
@viceversa0685 I'd like to see Vynnset and Jarl at the moment. But I think it's valuable for every new hero moving forward for players to understand playlines, both for playing and playing against the hero.
@antharper11 Gotcha! I might wait on Jarl though, just since the deck in this video wasn't optimized to have game against him and I want to wait until the hunted to come out to make any big changes with the deck (especially with the new card we got haha)
Would love to see gameplay vids! Especially on Talishar because it makes for easier viewing on TH-cam unless the in-person gameplay is highly produced.
Even with my moderate amount of Vynnset experience, I feel like you have given a lot of new insights that I've never considered. This video has been very educational and I feel you explained it all really well. I hope you make some more FaB content going forward.
I was already heavily considering picking up this deck as of late, and this video pretty much seals the deal lol. Appreciate all the insight shared here. Awesome video, keep up the good work!
really nice video, please give us a lot more :D would be lovely to see zen and aurora matchup. I was not able to win vs aurora at all :C but maybe with the informations from this guide something will change :D
I have 95 games on vynnset. she's my main, and even I learned something new from this. That's how you know its good. I have never tried to dirge an elequoence token, but someday I might now.
Awesome video :) After going big with kayo, I got my vynn ready and played like 20 games. You found words for feelings i had on cards. Like mauvrion skys is bad, but i couldn't really find the argument. I had exacatly the same issue with the audio two years ago and the only reason i found was hardware. I got rid of the problem with a new laptop. So if your hardware is old, maybe temporarily overclocking can leading to "robo voice". Thanks for your time and sharing experience!
Glad to see someone make vinny related content, thank you for this video, learned a lot. I was wondering if you’d consider doing commentary on tournament featured matches. Should be a good way to learn too
Awesome video, love to see new content creators in fab, especially on less-explored heroes. I'm interested in your thoughts - how do you think the deck changes with Cull? My impression is that it gives us incidentally more game into slower matchups as we can constrict their hand defensively, but it's starting to get hard to find cards to cut! My first instinct was to cut beseech 1-for-1, but not having go again is of course a cost. Brings Eulogy and grimoire up in value I feel. What do you think?
Awesome video!! Gonna try her tonight at an armory. What's your general approach to getting multiple rune gates in banish? Early on do you take an off turn going into a tunic turn so you have two? When is it worth sacrificing tempo basically and are there cards / situations you look to do that.
@mclair81 Good luck at your armory! and yes, that's unfortunately what I kind of have to do, but I just try to preserve as much life asi can while waiting for my banish to fill and my tunic to tick up lol. That's also why cards like blood tribute and puppetry/ruin can be so handy jn those matchup, since they essentially set you ahead one turn (sometimes)
Vynnset is so fucking hype tho especially when closing out games. Took Vynn to an armory for the first time yesterday, and people started gathering around my table cause my game vs Ira took the longest. Finding a way to get over the top with 3 chants, 1 runeblood incant, dirge, beseech, and a 3 cost rg has been one of the most fun moments I've had in FAB. I hope you do put up gameplay vs Jarl. Played against a Jarl at the same event and he got like two fused Oaken Olds back to back. I felt helpless in the matchup.
Fantastic video, thank you! Just wondering if you have played this into Jarl? How well does it cope with the frostbite tokens and what changes if any would you suggest for Jarl? Would love to see you post Talishar matches.
Vynnset is my first FAB Deck built from scratch. Absolutely love how she plays and am currently buying some more "Luxury" cards for her. (do NOT look forward to potentionally buying an almost $200 Creepers lol), though I plan on running Face Purgatory over Crown. I like videos like this cause I do struggle deciding what Non-attack actions to run.
Thanks for the awesome video, I started playing vynnset a month ago and this is really helpful. I just wanted to ask why you don't play Face Purgatory? If you want to block, wouldn't it be really easy to trigger the effect?
@javilia6526 Good question! I don't run gave purgatory because there aren't enough decks consistently attacking for 7+ damage in one turn that I'd get full value out of the block from. Also, I feel like purgatory is more of a "win more" card, and CoP is more of a "dig yourself out" card. Purgatory rewards you for already having good hand composition, whereas CoP can fix your bad hands, which I find to be more valuable in most games. If brute came back into the format in a major way, I'd be playing the hell out of purgatory though lol
Why Beseech the Demigon instead of Runic Reckoning? They seem like they fill identical roles, and you any time Beseech is playable (because it has to target banish zone) Runic Reckoning would be discounted, and Runic blocks 3. As a brand new Vynnset player, I would love to know if there's some text I'm missing, if it's a budget thing? Thanks!
@scribnibble9828 it's simply because runic reckoning isn't a shadow non attack, so it can't trigger vynnsets ability lol. Beseech guarantees that your deathly wails will create 2 runechants, and it'll always nuke enigmas board whenever you play it, plus the added benefit of just being able to do that 1 unpreventable when your opponent is at 1
Hey, can you clarify the interaction between creepers and deadwood dirge? You mentioned popping dirge at instant speed with the runechant pop on the stack lets you do the arcane damage despite it being destroyed? Can you run me through how that works? Love to see a high level vynnset player! :)
@pharaoh2426 For sure! Essentially, the runechant permanent itself isn't needed to deal the damage. when you attack, the trigger that deals damage is put on the stack, and if you play deadwood dirge as an instant you can destroy one of the runechants, but that won't destroy the runechants trigger that's still on the stack. It's similar to how eloquence can give 2 non attacks go again if one is played as an instant
@@viceversa0685 Looking at the comprehensive rules I think I've found the answer, but it's good to have results directly from a judge (going to my first BH this weekend!): 7.2.1. The Attack Step is a game state where an attack resolves and becomes attacking before any defending cards are declared. - at which point creepers can now be activated!
@ahttekan Partially true, while an attack action has technically been *played*, it hasn't actually attacked yet, so creepers would not be able to be activated. however, for the deadwood dirge example, as long as the runechants are popping on the second attack you've played, you can use creepers in the attack step then :)
