Great conversation gents! Cool to hear more of Matt's story starting the fund. I actually ordered 'Never Split The Difference' yesterday, so looking forward to it!
I had Matt on a podcast a while ago, and I'm glad if it's helped with the fund in any way - I learnt a lot about investing from that episode :)
Three words on SRG? Deep f*ing value?

'Never Split The Difference' is a great book! It's one of those rare books like 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' that is truly effective at teaching the reader a new skill.

It’s always a pleasure hearing you both speak. I enjoyed hearing more in detail on Matt’s journey to starting his fund and how he has been able to build his client base - it’s a very important part in owning a fund that not many discuss so openly

Thanks Guy and Matthew for sharing such a high quality and authentic conversations 👍🏻. I especially like the humor of you two (laughed out loud about not on TikTok yet😂).
I predict that Matthew’s fund size will certainly catch up with his high quality decision and authenticity. Let me share a virtual bottle of champagne here to pre-celebrate 🍾 😎👏🏻

Thank you both Guy and Matthew for this video. I have been following both of you for some time as there is so much you can both teach me. What I took from this video is how you started your fund Matthew, I am in a very similar scenario with regards to my investment business, the start-up capital, and the risks. Your insight gives me tremendous courage to keep moving forward. Thank you!

I disagree with the inflation protection argument re Seritage. Ceteris Paribas, if inflation goes up, interest rates will follow... thus mortgage rates. Mortgage rates and property prices have a negative correlation... might be talking rubbish and hopefully somebody tells me I am wrong so I actually learn something to augment my epistemology.
