Never heard of beet powder , I am going to use red food colouring , some drops to pump up the red colour on the duck. I will try this recipe someday when I see duck on special . just subscribed. found you video when I was looking at other ways to cook the duck. Thus far I have only been making noodle duck soup and wanted to try another way to cook the duck. I tried it. But had to use some substitution. No shallots so I used spring onion. No rose wine so I used Zhao Hing wine. Red vinegar was substituted with Ordinary white vinegar. I used Mi portable digital tyre pump to pump air into duck😂😂. Father ate it and complained that he was putting on weight ( and meanwhile took another two pieces...)
