Thanks for sharing. What a wonderful and seems easy way to cook the duck. I always found the Australian ducks are way too fat. Too greasy to eat. But you way of cooking may be able to get the balance right. I shall have a go. Keep up the good work.
Another recipe : Soya beans paste (one small bowl), 20 or 30 small onions & 1 big garlic, pounded together.. Washed and rinse the duck, same as the above method.. Fried the duck, put aside, then fry in the pounded ingredients with sufficient oil, add rice wine or Wu Jia Pi chinese wine.. water and duck, rock sugar..cook till the meat is tender.. Chopped the meat and thicken the gravy.. Spread the gravy onto the meat, ready to serve.. Try this 👍👍 Hakka Soya Beans ~ Braised Duck
Wait...ginger is 70 AUD/kg?! Whoa! That's like ~£39!! Most expensive I've seen here in London was £8/kg (~14AUD), and we're already crying 😂 Looks tasty BTW🤤
We live in Perth and here most expensive it’s got to was like $40 a kg we have gone to using bottled ginger from Aldi which only cost like less than $2 ... I know the Taste is not that good but than I think in the end if the dish is cooked right with the balance of other ingredients I think sacrifice a bit is ok ... I’ll try this duck when woolies or coles have their half price duck sale next time ... love your channel

I live here in So.Califonia and I just started with a few ginger rhizome a month ago in my planter and now they're growing/sprouting even though it has been a bit cold at night (10C) lately. I bet you guys in Australia have much better growing conditions for ginger and other tropical plants, just wondering. Love your cooking videos, thanks for your hard work in producing them.

廣東土著好多嘢都落陳皮,所以陳皮 係廣東第一寶,最正宗嘅宮廷配方 燒鵝系陳皮,話梅調味的,因為燒鵝 ,陳皮都系新會嘢
係啊,粵菜好多菜式都會用到陳皮,味好又健脾消食。。:)
