Triple the Batteries and mount them behind the rear axle ... Then it will drift without the plastic on the wheels. But you will have to upgrade the chain because of Torque. Good Luck !
He does do that, have you not seen his first electric powered shield video? He literally failed throughout the video and discarded hours of work just to get the third product to work.

Not really far. Electric forklifts 20 years ago weren't much different from today's models. And decent electric cars existed 40 years ago as well. Of course, without government subsidies and rebates electric cars still can't compete with petrol-powered ones in free market. Batteries still got much lower energy capacity than fuel.
@@keppy1259 Hybrid forklifts are now a thing. Dinojuice has a hundred years of embedded subsidies and market capture. Battery power density and delivery has evolved tremendously and is continuing to do so. No it doesn't have the same energy density as petrol yet, and I don't think it will any time soon. But it is fast approaching the point where that won't matter. After all uranium has a much higher energy density than petrol but we don't run our vehicles on that it's not the be all and end all.
5:45 Some thermal paste would help the ESC dissipate heat into the frame. Maybe use two thin rods to secure it rather than a plate to allow both sides of the heat fins to work. Edit: I commented before watching the whole video...
Very cool. The quality of work is great too. Having the right tools really makes a difference. That motor really is powerful. Itle provide more power than he can probably feed it, especially with those batteries. It's enough voltage, but not enough amp hours. It's the same problem I ran into building my electric bike.

@@andrewmalaty8 well. Yeah. The heat sink is too tiny to cool that huge monster. Even a water cooling block would've missed the point. But if the motor wasn't so hungry, it'd have overheated after a minute of use with the 3d printed crap on.

First motor you used is mostly used to make Electric Paramotor. But definitely it has no torque for Drift Trike. The 2nd motor and ESC size cracked me up. but definitely if that could move a mIni, that trike is going to be a blast to ride.
@@frizstyler yes for sure he could but as he mentioned in this video he did not want to go through that experimentation and besides he was not sure if it would work out very well still.
Side note: They make an anti-spark version of the XT-90 battery connector. It'll have a little green stripe on it. There's a resistor built into the connector that will charge the drive capacitors gently, thus avoiding the spark when you plug it in. Definitely optional, but they last longer because you don't have a big spark blowing bits of metal off the connectors every time you plug it in.

You buy forklift tires that's what we put on our go kart they break loose no problem but still give you traction
We side-mounted ours to offset the weight and maintain balance but we can still break the rear loose with just a goose of the gas
I imagine replacing plastic tubes are cheaper than rubber tires, though. ;)
