This run was insane. It was amazing to see him with all that gold around his whole body. Major titles from almost every single promotion outside of WWE.
How does this channel not have millions of views, and an offer from AEW for full time work?? PHENOMENAL videos every time - the kind of stuff someone like AEW should have on their channel!
Because this is not really unique, plus they could do this themselves if they wanted.. The 'Documentary" at the end of the video name is just ridiculous, this is more like a highlight reel. Documentaries have commentary in them...
I'm so glad we got to see Kenny at his peak having the main event run of all main event runs. With how serious his health issues have become and how much his body is starting to fall apart, having this almost 2 year run of incredible matches and moments is special.
At the time this was all happening, I don’t think we truly appreciated Kenny and how he carried multiple companies on his back. I hate the elite but love Kenny he’s the best
Kenny Omega is truly the best in the world. It’s not because he’s was the champion from multiple promotion, because all that is predetermined. But it’s because those promotion trusts and willing to make him their top champion even though they know AEW will benefit the most from him being their top champion. They trust he will make the world see their promotion and he will help their promotion even a little. I truly believe Forbidden Door wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t Kenny Omega close relationship with NJPW.
Although i liked the belt collector run of Kenny, it's nowhere close to his days in NJPW. This maybe due to him working with lingering injuries but Kenny in Japan is built different and hits hard. I encourage you to do a documentary on how he almost single handedly brought back western prominence to NJPW from 2016-2019
One could say Fin Balor and Kenny omega laid the foundations for AEW ever existing. Kenny deserved it all. His acting, ringwork, athleticism, and drive set this man apart from the rest. I think of the amazing names that are often up just by working with the guy. They are nearly countless.
How lucky am I? I just came to your channel to suggest in comments to do a Kenny Omega championship run documentary and saw this video posted 4 minutes ago😂 Thanks Dropmick. Wrestling, you are the best!!
small and random detail but when kenny hit the one winged angel on Andrade you see konnan put his head down, he knew it was over. that small little detail was so good cuz it helps tell a story. damn good documentary
The very first match I ever got to see live was Christian Cage vs Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship, it's not lost on me just how special that is. I got to witness the unraveling of The Belt Collector right in front of me. There's plenty of people I still can't wait to see hold the AEW World Championship, but god I need one more proper run out of The Collector in front of an actual crowd.
Holding that many belts is very cool, but what is most impressive is that he defended them all quite regularly. How many defenses did he actually do during this Belt Collector reign? It may be a record honestly; not for a single belt but championship defenses over a short period.
Im glad that I can watch and relive this run before this sadly will be copyrightstruck. People seem to have forgotten what a crazy run this was. Kenny left all what his body had to give in the ring with that belt collector run. What a monster of an video, awesome work!💪🏼
Excellent, as usual. Ever consider doing deep dive docs on specific years in wrestling? I love videos where an entire year is recapped. Would love to see your take on AEW's entire history thus far in doc form.
This is a great idea I would love a aew year by year recap there’s so much that I loved that I’m sure I’ve forget about, it would be fun to look back at it
Danielson vs omega at grand slam is simply the peak of this company. And my favorite pro wrestling moment of all time . Hopefully we will see part II at Wembley in 2024 for the world title!
Thanks for the upload. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to see AEW but I get to see some of his New Japan matches and I'm a huge fan just off of that. There's so much I missed and this is awesome to see.
I loved AEW when it started and as time went on... i mainly stuck around for Kenny Omega. He is incredible and I regret not learning of him until he left NJPW (his rivalry with Okada was god level). He never failed to captivate and his love for Japan and anime made me idolize him even more. Its a shame his body started breaking down and now his health issues have him sidelined indefinitely 😔. He is The Best Bout Machine, The Cleaner, The Belt Collector and the God of Pro Wrestling 😀🙌👏. I hope he recovers 100% and we get to see Kenny Omega come back and be better than ever!
2021 was peak AEW. So many great things happened in the company, and at the very top was the Belt Collector, Kenny Omega. I miss these days and it’s a shame how the company has declined over the past year.
2024 has been great overall though Okada and ospreay are awesome , last week angle with omega is great The last 2 ppv are also crazy good (dynasty and Revolution)
@@mudkipfan2420 It’s improved but it’s not what it used to be. Tony Khan is his own worst enemy. You’ll see great stuff from Okada, Ospreay, Danielson or Swerve but then they’ll shoot themselves in the leg by doing something nonsensical like airing the All In 2023 backstage footage, which I still don’t know what purpose that served. One step forward, two steps back.
If AEW had the partnership as they do now with other companies, I definitely would’ve love to see Kenny Omega claim belts from so many companies. Imagine him holding the world titles from AEW, Impact, NJPW, AAA, ROH, and so much more.
Only two he eas missing were ROH and NJPW, and he has previously held various titles from those companies so your point is kinda mute. Plus he was able to pull of this run by calling in the favors he had earned at the perfect time. That's how wrestling championships work
Belt collector days made me forget partially that there was a pandemic. Kenny held it down for everyone else while Drew held it down for WWE. Good times indeed.
I was there at full gear when he lost the title to hangman. Absolutely phenomenal moment. The story Kenny and Hangman told during that feud was amazing. So happy to have been there live to experience it.
kenny did things others only dream of replicating with the belt collector run bro proved the entire world why he is the cleaner and the goat of professional wrestling
50:35 one of if not the best wrestling entrances ever!!! Just him and his collection Njpw should have let him have that belt also to complete the collection

Better than the Tribal Lazy by far
The true GOAT of pro wrestling KENNY OMEGA!!
YEA A REAL CHAMPION HERE REAL DRAW TOO @@alvarolopezrodriguez3255
Eventualmente deberia ir a WWE y conseguir ese título, chocar con antiguos líderes del BC 😮
agreed hahaha@@ChainisVR
Kenny Omega held 4 World Heavyweight Championships from 4 different promotions simultaneously, that's pretty damn impressive.
BEST BOUT MACHINE!!!
He definitely is The Best Bout Machine
Damn I was trying to figure out what belts he had lol
He had the AEW World title Triple A Mega title TNA World title and the Impact Wrestling World title
Yess it is I agree must piss off Jim Cornetto right haha how many wrestlers held 4 different heavyweight championships from different promotions
How does this channel not have millions of views, and an offer from AEW for full time work?? PHENOMENAL videos every time - the kind of stuff someone like AEW should have on their channel!
Maybe because we're the Elite 🤷♂️
Same reason all petite wrestling doesn't have millions of views! Kenny o vegan sucks! 😆
Because this is not really unique, plus they could do this themselves if they wanted.. The 'Documentary" at the end of the video name is just ridiculous, this is more like a highlight reel. Documentaries have commentary in them...

Right

Absolutely love your documentaries. Probably the easiest way to catch up on AEW’s history after starting to watch last year
At the time this was all happening, I don’t think we truly appreciated Kenny and how he carried multiple companies on his back. I hate the elite but love Kenny he’s the best
Same thing is happening to me😍
This was goat level omega, say what you want about him but he is a modern date goat
He absolutely is.
His face when he beat sonny kiss in 10 seconds 😂😂
Started watching Omega in 2017 and now he’s my favorite wrestler of all time.
Same
Me From 2021 🥺
Attitude era kid here…quit watching in 2003 and just happened to see some Japan wrestling in 2017. It was him vs Jericho and I’ve been a fan since

Kenny deserved this run in front of people but man during the pandemic bro was unstoppable.
Although i liked the belt collector run of Kenny, it's nowhere close to his days in NJPW. This maybe due to him working with lingering injuries but Kenny in Japan is built different and hits hard.

Belt collector Kenny was fantastic
First time I saw him was on aew when he walked out with like 4 or 5 championship belts I was like wtf? This dude must be serious
The whole Daniel Bryan portion, absolutely smooth editing, beautiful, felt very immersive.
How lucky am I? I just came to your channel to suggest in comments to do a Kenny Omega championship run documentary and saw this video posted 4 minutes ago😂
Thanks Dropmick. Wrestling, you are the best!!
Omega deserves another run like this without Covid killing the crowds.
Kenny Omega is the best pro wrestler right now nobody is on his level
Almost 2 hours of pure cinema.
This is imo your best work yet.
Amazing!
small and random detail but when kenny hit the one winged angel on Andrade you see konnan put his head down, he knew it was over. that small little detail was so good cuz it helps tell a story. damn good documentary
i was there for omega/bryan, all i can say holy shitz that was the greatest match i ever saw live in person. great video by the way 👌

Sick of your cheating Kenny
Dropmick Wrestling is a guarantee of the quality of a wrestling documentary
Also merch!
The fact he did all that while battling all those injuries is insane
Kenny Omega at 50% is still one of the best.
All self inflicted injuries, too. Crazy what swan diving out of the ring nightly will do to a body.
Holding that many belts is very cool, but what is most impressive is that he defended them all quite regularly. How many defenses did he actually do during this Belt Collector reign? It may be a record honestly; not for a single belt but championship defenses over a short period.
He didn't defend the AAA Mega Championship one last time; he forfeited it instead of dropping it like a real man.
Actually been trying to find this story compressed for months, thanks alot ❤ subscribed

you're one of my favorite channels man i love these. can't wait to see the other ideas you have ready in the future
35:48 loredo doing a half hearted kick out right after 3 after an avalanche one winged angel is so wild 😭😭 guess you gotta protect your gimmick lol
And he did this whole run while extremely banged up, messed up knee and vertigo among other things, he truly is one of the greatest of all time
Awesome documentary 10/10 🔥 honestly when Christian won the belt and the fans were spinning the towels reminds me of Tna back in 2005 😭😭😭
That was "Pre-Hogan" TNA right?
I stopped watching TNA prior to that time because everything he touches turns into shit.
This one was my favorite doc so far keep em coming
Great video as always. I cannot wait until Omega wins the AEW World Championship once again
This was beautiful!
Loved watching all of this live.
Also, miss The Super Elite 🤌🏽
Thank you guys for another great video!!
Thank you for the fun Insta content!
Great vid bro, so great to have this entire run covered in one video. It deserves it, thanks for posting this. 🔥🙌🔥
Danielson vs omega at grand slam is simply the peak of this company.
And my favorite pro wrestling moment of all time .
Hopefully we will see part II at Wembley in 2024 for the world title!
I love that at 20:08 you can see the ref pass the blade to Moxley so he could blade himself when the cam hard focuses on Omega after the mic hit.
Thanks for the upload. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to see AEW but I get to see some of his New Japan matches and I'm a huge fan just off of that. There's so much I missed and this is awesome to see.
Great job on this i really enjoyed it. Full Gear 2021 was my first AEW PPV loved Omega vs Hangman main event.

this run is GOATED even tho kenny for me is hit and sometimes miss I like the guy but this run
This run was modern history’s most Iconic run
Yes! A new Documentary! You just saved my Home-Office day!
thank you so mutch for this banger. one of my favorite reigns ever, great video as always. again, thank you king 🔥
one of the best documentaries i’ve seen
The fact that this channel doesn't have millions of subs is just criminal dude
Keep it up bro just grade A+ man absolutely phenomenal
#KingDoc
One im of my favorite stories in wrestling history. Loved this run i was locked in

The kenny omega belt collecter run was pretty good!
The Belt Collector run was something special to watch 💯
Only being able to watch your latest vid now. Love how your channel is soaring!
What a gem this Channel is
This man kept us sane during the pandemic. This runs deserves its flowers 💐
2020-2021 Kenny was unstoppable. Arguably the best version of Omega outside Japan we’ll ever see
greatest wrestler of all time
Stone Cold? The undertaker? Hulk Hogan?
@@rosequartz2290 wrestling wise its kenny by far more people might know the undetaker or stone cold but wrestling wise I think its kenny
These are dope!!! Keep up the good work. The hangman Adam Page drinking story line would be pretty sick. Just a suggestion. Keep going
iF AEW were to 1 day have their own streaming service, then documentaries like these would definately be in the library.
Great job dude! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tremendous! Your documentaries are excellent
Because of Kenny I watched impact wrestling for the first time
this is such a gem
Damn man, you’re so good at this.
One of the greatest 2 year stretches a wrestling has ever had
Belt collector days made me forget partially that there was a pandemic. Kenny held it down for everyone else while Drew held it down for WWE. Good times indeed.
Kenny Omega is the best wrestler in the world! He even might be the Goat of wrestling. He is already been called God of Wrestling
Been waiting all week for this hell yeah
DROPMICK you work fast as always bloody phenomenal work
These videos do a better job at promotion for AEW than Tony Khan does lol. Great work as always man
your videos are amazing, you need more views and subs dude
Justin Roberts announcements for Kenny with forever be legendary and thats coming from me who lives in NORRRRRRTHH CARRROOLLIIIINNNNNAAAA
I'm so excited to watch this. I've been waiting
I was there at full gear when he lost the title to hangman. Absolutely phenomenal moment. The story Kenny and Hangman told during that feud was amazing. So happy to have been there live to experience it.
Name a more iconic run than this.
Other than the London Marathon.
incredible documentary loved every second of it
Subbed purely due to quality, awesome
For those wondering, the song used in the beginning is Battle Cry (Kenny Omega Symphony)
In North Carolina
It really was the beginning of something awesome the moment Don Callis told everyone to tune into Impact.
kenny omega the most underrated wrestler of all time, all around also good on the mic, the best moveset of all time
I feel like we all deserve and Kenny deserves a WWE run as a top guy! He’s a Shawn Michaels, Roman Reigns level wrestler!
Didn't expect the danielson-omega feud to apear in the video and i'm pretty happy for it❤
*The Greatest of all time*
No one is more giving to other talent and more willing to put his body on the line for us fans.
Yeah, Kurt Angle is a cyborg.
@@Jahn_Pah_JonzKurt even managed to make me want to watch TNA
In 2021 Kenny Omega as the belt collector was the real tribal chief of wrestling.
This was the peak of Kenny
That cutter from Fenix around the 39 minute mark has gotta be one of the best ive ever seen.
Amazing work my man
Brilliant mate. AEW need to snap you up full time to produce documentaries for them
kenny did things others only dream of replicating with the belt collector run bro proved the entire world why he is the cleaner and the goat of professional wrestling
Great video dude
People will only truly appreciate Kenny after its all over and he isn't hidden behind tribal lines. He is the best.
Super Elite era of AEW was peak pro wrestling. Kenny is my GOAT unquestionably
Interpromotional wrestling for championships. Never seen this in my youth.
Magnificent work
Amazing work! 🎉
The God Of Pro Wrestling
KENNY BY GAWD OMEGA
The “NORTH CAROLINA” from Roberts was the best part of the collector
Great work man
I wish we had the promo with Callis and Swann, they took that one down on the Impact Wrestling TH-cam page but I really liked it.
50:35 one of if not the best wrestling entrances ever!!! Just him and his collection
Njpw should have let him have that belt also to complete the collection
Had all those belts and never did anything. He made AAA, TNA and AEW so popular with this run. Champion of all Champions.
