Well, this was entertaining and all your takes were quite refreshing. Love the -redacted- for British Vogue cover… nobody needs to hear, or see, any of that. I’d personally say the same for the American vogue model choice as well… and yeah that whole shoot was a mess… Are we sure Ms. Wintour is okay?
Can you explain (and I’m sorry if that’s a stupid question) why / how a magazine can have more than one cover? I imagine that it’s for digital editions but still, makes me a bit confused. Thanks! (Also can’t wait to hear your review on Ethan & Lady Gaga’s Vogue cover next month!)
Not at all a stupid question! it has become increasingly popular for a magazine to have multiple covers, and it is for multiple reasons. When it is different people, it is because magazines offer a guaranteed cover so that people are more likely to agree to it. Especially with celebrities, they need to guarantee a cover in order for the celebrity to do the shoot, which is also how you get famous people on the cover of small and weird magazines. Magazines think that they can convince the fans of these people to seek out that specific cover, to boost sales. When it is multiple covers of the same person, a lot of that just comes down to the magazine not having the confidence in making a decision. For many magazines, they only have a spring/summer and fall/winter edition, so for them. I am more forgiving when they have multiple covers with multiple people. I will be reviewing more of those in next month’s video :)
@@THEMODELGENE I had to go find the full shoot and all available BTS. He’s a massive influence. Didn’t mean to suggest you should avoid mentioning him; just the opposite.
@@davidturner5 oh gotcha, and no you aren’t the only one, I’m a huge fan of his. There is one shoot he did with Gisele that I find so remarkably beautiful.
@@THEMODELGENE He's such a wizard that I always scrutinize his images for quiet shenanigans. In a couple of the Clooney shots, I half-convinced myself that Sundsbo cut him out of a different background. The two-shot with them in matching cream turtlenecks tripped my Spidey-Sense.That magenta-peach color cast isn't in the background. But they added a very subtle magenta gradient to the sky to tie it all together.

Honorary Dane because she owns property in Copenhagen, which is why they photographed her in Paris, her allegedly being Lily Collins, and by photographed, I mean allegedly with a camera.
