i'm a little sad that Tailong didn't get an evolved form, since there was a story of how Thor from Norse myth was once tasked with picking up a cat, but he couldn't (it kept "stretching") because it was revealed later to have be Jormangander (the World Serpent) in disguise. I can very easily imagine an evolution for Tailong that takes inspo from this concept and runs with it. maybe as a psuedolegendary?
That would be dope, but with the ability it has and I'm guessing high stats, I don't think it would be viable to evolve it in a game play POV. Would still be cool to see a design like this

I adore all these designs. Especially the ghosties. Chillynx reminds me a lot of Lucifer from Cinderella; particularly in the face.
Honestly i thought the ghost type cat would be Schrödinger’s Cat based where it’s a cardboard box that looks like a cat possessed by a ghost of a dead cat pokemon

considering it’s a dragon type mixed with nature’s favorite killing machine, i highly doubt it needs protecting

The name and colour of this mon remind me of Tai Lung, the white tiger villain of the first Kung Fu panda movie. Makes sense, he always wanted to be a Dragon Warrior.
He didn't get his wish in his universe but he made it as dragon type here, and he is free to wreak havoc with his deceptive cuteness and terrifying combo of adaptability and dragon moves.
Regarding the Fairy type, a Pokemon based on the Cat Sidhe (pronounced Shee), also known as Cait Sith and Cath Palug, all of which literally translate to "Fairy Cat," and Irish mythology describes them as being aggressively territorial and having the power fire bolts of fire and/or lightning.
I've recently started thinking about missed Pokemon opportunities. But since none of the examples I can think of are cats or cat-adjacent, I'm not going to name them here. That said, I will probably put some of them in response comments if asked for some examples.

@@noodleydoo2862 In Irish lore and mythology, there is a creature referred to as the Cat Sidhe; it is described as having the appearance of a wild cat not much dissimilar in size to any other wild cat that is around the size of the average house cat, there are a surprising number of wild cats that size, but they aren't actually cats, they are fey creatures in the form of cats. They are said to have a number of fairy-like a abilities, such as the power to basically teleport as long as they are in the forests and woodlands they call home, basically change how they are perceived at the drop of a hat, and a few other generic fairy-type abilities; they are also described as having very aggressive territorial streaks, to the point literally shooting bolts of fire and/or lightning at anyone who enter their territory without their expressed permission, they'll also shoot those bolts at anyone who manages to basically do more than irk them if they were permitted access; they're really hard to distinguish from any other wild cat, mainly because they have the appearance of any other wild cat, the big signifiers are personalties being more fey-like and that aggressive territorial streak mentioned earlier. The reason why I said the bolts they shoot could be fire, lightning, or both is because some accounts say that the bolts are fire, some say they are lightning, and some of the more recent interpretations I've come across say it's possible they could choose between the two or even fire a bolt of both basically whenever they feel like it. They're also said to fire the bolts of elemental energy from the treetops, at range, almost like they're sniping anyone invading their territory. And that is why it is always a good idea to bring a gift for the faeries when potentially visiting their territory; sadly, I haven't found anything pertaining to what they consider an acceptable gift, but given they are literal fairy cats, chances are they would like offerings similar to what you would give most other cats.
Given their generally aggressive personality, their Pokemon typing could be a dual typ that reflects this.
Honestly I would enjoy a ground fairy cat where it’s based on a Lion cub mixed with a Sphinx that evolves to a male Lion sphinx and a female lion sphinx like Pyroar and litleo

TAILONG IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Also love that you showed Chillynx from the Fyrun region since I really loved that line when I saw it for the first time! Also I am so happy to se a Caracal Pokémon ! When I was little I thought Caracals were so cool!
I LOVE Kittipillar; it’s so cute and unique! I love how it evolves to mimic a cat’s face, too!
I think a rabbit of every type would work for Easter month.
So far we only have Normal, Fire. Water, Electric, Ground, and I guess Grass and Psychic for Calyrex but I dont think that should count, same with the Fighting type and Mega Lops.

Love the ghost type's first form. Love the very fluffy, grumpy-looking cat representation, like a lot of Persian cats and some Himalayan
Ok so I assume it's not intentional or you would have brought it up, but Tailong also has strong parallels to a specific Norse myth- the tale of Utgard Loki (no relation (probably)). In it, Thor and regular Loki are faced with a number of challenges posed by Utgard Loki that seem simple but challenging, but turn out to be impossible because they're tricks and illusions.
In one of them, Thors task is to simply pick up a small house cat. But each time he tries, it's body stretches to become impossibly long, and it's feet stay firmly on the floor- because it's actually Jörmungandr: the world serpent, in disguise.
Anyway I just thought it was fun to mention, as it's very fitting for both the design and the dragon typing.

@@PragMagik lmao I always love it when things fit like that by accident, it's a lot of fun. I suggest looking into the story sometime! It's a great legend, and honestly, there are plenty of other small bits or characters that would make for interesting Pokemon.

As a fellow cat enjoyer (and someone who also workshopped a Cat Pokémon of every type), this is very enjoyable! Some of these are better than my concept.
Grumpurr and Chillynx are my favorite. They're so relatable and cute.

however the gender ratios on Catterfly should absolutely be more male-dominated as its wings resemble ginger cats most and the ginger gene makes them mostly male!

Or, another idea about Catterfly, instead of a gender ratio difference, what if the females got black spots on their wings to make them look like calicos, which is how the orange gene usually expresses in female cats?

When i was younger I tried creating a normal type Cat Pokemon (modeled after the African wildcat) that had an Evee-like evolution for every type. I can't remember the names, but what i DO remember is: Ice was a Snow Leopard, Fire was a tiger, electric was a cheetah, dark & psychic were Panthers (since there's a tan fur & black fur Panther), Lion was Steel.
That sounds like it would be a really good regional form for the Eveelutions!
I feel like the fairy type would lean more towards the domestic house cat,like skitty.something more like a sylveon type of fairy type,but the designs were really nice!
For the Dragon Type you could also take inspiration from the Serpopard .
While a big fan of Tailong, when you mentioned tatzelwurm I was hoping it was gonna be or involve an Evo that was more akin to the actual depiction and might've been called something like Catzelworm, and maybe be in a knot like a pretzel to give it more identity

An Egyptian region is perfect for a Ghost type cat because of how they were sacred to the Ancient Egyptians, were mummified and you have a sphynx breed right there to use
You could even have it evolve into an ACTUAL sphinx and be ghost/rock type
I'm hoping for a mustelid of every type (Ferret, weasel, otter, badger, mink, marten, stoat, wolverine, sable, fisher)

Haven't watched the vid fully and not sure if it's already in the vid but I could always see the Siamese cats being either a fighting/ghost dual type or a fighting/nornal dual type if they were ever become pokemon and that some of them would have things like rings in their tails. The ones that would have stuff like rings on their tails would be because of certain pokemon trainer classes like the rich and lady trajner classes (not sure if that's what they're called since it has been a while since i played any of the pokemon games).
