Plants... You got fewer choices than you would think. Not all grass types are plants. But still plenty. Lurantis, Lilligant, Jumpluff, Sunflora, Tsareena, Arboliva, Flapple, Appletun, Brambleghast, Tropius, Scovillain, Cacturne, Abomasnow (Leafeon and Meowscarada were iffy IMO. Yes, they have plant aspects, but aren't plants, nor do they evolve from plants as a base form. Amoonguss, Breloom, and Toedscruel are fungi, so not plants. Sudowoodo is a fossil. Pineco looks like a pinecone, but it is a bagworm.)

Using Arcanine would of been pushing the line I don't think Entei is ever called a dog? Well maybe by fans..but it's highly inacturate as the legendary *beasts* are very much based on types of wild cats with a few creative liberties (so they weren't just cats).

Paradoxes could also see use, I don’t think Slither Wing, Roaring Moon or Brute Bonnet would be usable for Scarlet since IIRC they’re only in the postgame, but if we count mechanized versions of Pokémon that would be eligible, Iron Jugulis and Iron Thorns are available in Violet, and Flutter Mane would be available in Scarlet, which is stated to specifically be the ghost of a dinosaur

Can you beat Pokémon scarlet and Violet with only my favourite animal aka Bats, probably, just the full team would only consist of noivern because there are no other bat Pokémon yet. Who knows, when the dlc comes out, they might add Crobat, swoobat, and maybe even lunala

cats aren't the prey of dogs?? if you want prey for dogs you'd probably be looking for rabbits and mice..though hooved animals work too
