That last one is definitely my favorite. It’s perfect. But anyways, I had an idea of a fighting velociraptor, who would have two concepts. One, a coat of feathers resembling marcial art clothing, but being a lot more subtle than say Throh and Sawk. Tans two, it would have a sickle claw on its food made of rock that it would use as a weapon. These would merge to make it a fighter that uses powerful kicks as it’s main fighting style, being the first fighter, with mons like Hitmonlee being essentially spiritual successors, even if they’re not related.

I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get Pokemon akin to the Rockapye line for Scarlet and a robotic/cybernetic counterpart to it for Violet. Hadarina is absolutely adorable, it's just so cute and simple but yet the colors suits it's type and design really well! The evolution is pretty too and I always dreamed to see my favorite dinosaur as a pokemon! So definitely the fairy fossil is my favorite!
I love how these designs use the parts that make different dinosaurs unique to represent their power or element. Like Parasong and it's headcrest/flute

---I wonder. Do Pokemon that evolve with Ancient Power count as "Fossil" or at least pre-historic? Tangrowth, Yanmega, Mamoswine...? And then there is Relicanth, too, that is pretty much a Coelacanth...
I think a good extinct animal to have a psychic type pokemon based off of it would be the Tully Monster, it's so alien like that it would have to be psychic type.
My fire type fossil would have been based on the Stegasaurous, due to the misconception that these dinosaurs used the plates on it's back to absorb heat from the sun. It'd have a special ability that increased it's speed and special attack while the sun was up, like Chirubi.
I have been a Dino nerd for years, since I was 3 even. But this was a fantastic vid for both pokemon and the prehistoric times. All had great reasons to be the typing and the creature they were inspired by.
The Spinosorid family were apex aquatic predators, so a Spino electric type makes a bit more sense, but fire Spinos are still cool.
