Another great idea for a ground type dog Pokemon would be an Australian cattle dog/blue heeler, since they’re used to heard sheep it would make sense for them to be ground type to be immune to Mareep’s electricity
i made a fakemon in my australia region called ruwalm and its a blue heeler. Its called Cattackle (ground, normal type) and it evolves into cattastrike which is a rock/ground type.
I actually had a regional variant of Yamper that evolved into a heeler. It was pure Fighting and in my mind it had cowboy motifs where the ears positioning and shape made its head look like a cowboy hat.
Another idea for the ice type would be the husky and Alaskan malamute, who were known for pulling sleds in the snow. I’m thinking about using this idea for my regional dog Pokémon. Also, it’s definitely having hyper voice as one of its move cause huskies are infamous for screaming and being loud

I actually have two dog Pokemon lines for my own fanmade region. First is my Water type starter, which is based on the Newfoundland and pulls in design elements from sailors and pirates. I felt the Water type would be a good fit for this as Newfoundlands are well known for being powerful swimmers and were bred to serve as working dogs aboard boats. They'd often jump down into the water to retrieve anything that fell overboard, from fishing nets to crew members. Also, this whole evolutionary line is one big visual pun on "sea dog", which is a slang term for a sailor or pirate. As for my second dog evolutionary line, the first stage is based on the Boston terrier, but its second stage also pulls some design elements from dogs like bulldogs and pitbulls. The first stage is pure Ground type, but it gains the Fighting type upon evolution. As for its typing, the Ground type was mainly inspired by Iggy from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as he was a Boston Terrier himself and he possessed the ability to control sand thanks to the power of his Stand, The Fool. As for the Fighting type, it's partially a nod to the fact that Boston terriers were actually originally bred to be pit fighting dogs. But after dog fighting was banned, people started breeding them down to become smaller and less aggressive, hence why nowadays they're better known for being very playful and friendly. That also kinda plays in with the pitbull side of its evolution, as while those dogs have garnered a rather negative reputation for being aggressive fighting dogs, they actually can be very sweet and gentle when trained and cared for properly. However, its type combo also doubles as a reference to trench warfare, as this Pokemon is also partially inspired by a real life famous dog, Sergeant Stubby. He was a Boston Terrier or bull terrier mix of sorts who served as a military dog in the US Army during World War 1 and became famous for his accomplishments during that time. He's notable for being the only military dog to be nominated and promoted to sergeant through combat and is probably the most famous military dog in US history.
Those sound so cute, and the concepts make so much sense! I’m thinking about making a dog fakemon based on the first dog breeds domesticated by humans, the Saluki.
Omgggggg. These are so good. The Ground, Steel, Flying, and Bug ones are RIDICULOUSLY cute. The description of the Flying one made me laugh, that's just adorable. All of them are cool though, I would give them all a chance. And the Hachiko story is so sad, I can't hear it without tearing up a bit.

I think a good Evo to Beeterrier could be adding notes of the Phaléne and Japanese Chin into it. Both are long haired floofs, Phaléne translates to Moth Eared from french, and the Japanese Chin have flat faces similar to Pugs. The other inspiration I have in mind is to combine it with the Flannel Moth, the floofiest of moths around. My final inspiration to tie it all together is that it would be an upcycler, someone that makes new things out of old. Giving new life into things that had not much use of before. It would gain wing-like ears and becomes super floofy, but not really in the way you'd think, these pokemon rip and tear (Doomslayers favorite Mon) pieces of fabric and wool and by eating it it can spit back out clothing that it wears to make it look especially more fabulous. It often creates clothing for trainers they really adore, with the cost of maybe destroying old clothes. It would become Phalannél, the Tailor pokémon, a Bug Fairy pokémon. This way we can have a clothing pokémon without it being unatural or humanoid. What works well with all these together is that both dogs and moths love eating clothes or fabric based stuff, at least with my experience, so I think this would be a perfect way to combine these totally different animals. And dogs love bringing stuff back to their owners like "gifts". Plus you can never go wrong seeing lil doggos in cute costumes!
Maybe if you give it enough of certain berries or depending on where you find them in a region they can have unique abilities based on its clothes, example Cozy Coat: becomes .25x resistant to Ice Types, looks like a cozy fuzzy coat, and a lil pair of ski goggles. Ponchow: Becomes .25x more resistant to Water, looks like a Poncho, and has a lil fishing rod. Hunt Hood: Becomes .25x more resistant to Flying types moves, looks like a Camo hoodie and a lil hunting backpack. Flame Flannel: Becomes .25x more resistant to Fire type moves, looks like flannel with the colors of Fire Fighters protection gear and firefighter helmet. Scrubby Suit: Becomes .25x more resistant to poison type moves, looks like a nurses scrubs and wears a lil nurse Joy hat.
Hachiko has been one of my favorite stories ever since I was young. Me and my siblings have always used him as an inspiration. I haven't talked to any of them in a long time, but I'm sure the story is still in their hearts.
Here's some dog ideas that have been on my mind for a while now: - *Sheputy* (Fighting), *Sheperiff* (Fighting), and *Sheperative* (Fighting): German shepherds with police and soldier motifs. Details like chest fur patches shaped like badges, and Sheperative's fur being patterned like army camo. > Shepherd + deputy > Shepherd + sheriff > Shepherd + operative - *Huskowop* (Psychic) and *Alaskowop* (Psychic): Siberian husky and Alaskan malamute, both with shining blue eyes and aurora tendrils based on sled harnesses. Plays on the teamwork of huskies and malamutes in sled teams (as well as those shiny blue eyes). Kinda wanna save the Ice-type for some arctic wolves. > Husky + co-op > Alaska + co-op
So many cute doggos! I can’t pick a favorite! Maybe you could do other animals of every type (Like lizards, cats, monkeys, etc) Another idea I had. Charcadet evolves through the use of armors. Maybe you and Karn could do a video discussing what Charcadet could evolve into using the Armor Digieggs. He seems to follow the armor digivolution rules with his evolutions.
As well as a dingo, you could have gone with an Australian kelpie. Red Dog is a true story of an Australian cattle dog/kelpie that travelled through western Australia. A statue was even made in his honour.
You know. I actually genuinely liked all the designs for these. Some of them I need to become a actual pokemon asap game freak. Lol great job to everyone who designed these and to you for the video
Ability ideas: Sedimutt/Digingo- Fast paws: 2 turn moves like dig and bounce instead take 1 turn, and have their damage increased by 25%. Furzen/Snowarg- Chain Breaker: Upon taking super effective damage, its chains are broken, doubling its speed and increasing its highest attacking stat by 30%. Dewoof/Rainine- Drizzle, HA- Soaked Paws: In the rain this pokemon gains a speed buff every turn. The buffs remain after the rain stops. Scrapup/Amagrel- Honorless: Dark type attacks deal 2x damage to fighting and steel types, and ignore type disadvantage. Scotree/Sithorn- Lush: When this pokemon is suffering a status effect, being hit by a water type move will heal it of said status effect and restore 50% of its max hp. HA- Evergreen: this pokemon is immune to ice type moves and freeze. Dogon/Drakend- Shed Skin, HA- Treasure Fetch: If this pokemon loses its held item, it will randomly steal the held item of another pokemon on the field. this can target allys as well. Shibalier/Jinplar- Steadfast, HA- Valient Defender: In a double battle if its ally pokemon is suffering a status effect, Jinplar will take 50% of oncoming damage for them. Pugrub/Beeterrior: Shed Skin, HA- Too Cute: Other pokemon hesitate to harm this pokemon, and thus hold back. This pokemon will take half damage from non-supereffective moves. Puppest/Bernoxic: Contagious: Biting moves have a high chance of poisoning the target. if the target is already poisoned, there is a low chance to increase it to toxic., HA- Drink Share: If this pokemon uses a berry or other consumable item, its ally pokemon gains the effect as well, but may be poisoned. Pombus/Chowd: Cloud Floof: This pokemon is healed by water type moves and takes half damage from electric type moves, HA- Cloud Eater: Upon entering the battlefield, this pokemon consumes a weather effect, ending the weather on the field and gaining a buff depending on what type of weather. Bordigy/Mascolli: Masked Singer: Sound moves have a chance of inflicting sleep or confusion on those hit by them. HA- Intelligent: If an Ally uses a psychic, ghost, or dark type move, Macolli may instruct them to use it again at 50% power. Some may be a little op but I tried to give them all something that would give them at least a niche usecase.
Are you going to do the Elemental monkeys next? I'm excited on how you associate cooking terms on the different types like Panspice (Dragon), Pansteam (Flying), Panamode (Ice), Panduction (Electric)
This is a great video! I know you've already done a Meowth of every type, but it would be cool if you did a cat pokemon of every type video to go with this one since there's only a few non-Meowth cat mons for a couple of types(Purrloin and Liepard for dark, Glameow and Purugly for normal, Espurr and the meowstics for psychic, Litten's line for fire, Sprigatito's for grass, etc) and plenty of cat fakemon out there to choose from or you can commission them yourself.
Amangrel should have an ability that makes it so that, if targeted in a double battle, the move user has a chance to target another Pokémon in the battle or maybe it has a guaranteed chance to randomize who gets hit with the secondary effects of moves (ie: opponent uses ember on Amangrel, Amangrel takes the damage, but the game chooses another target (the opponent’s second Pokémon, the Amangrel, or Amangrel’s ally) for the burn chance)
@@PragMagik two Amangrel, both with the covert cloak (though that’d only work if the secondary effect is rolled AFTER the target of the ability was chosen)
The second evolution of the flying type dog instantly reminded me of the Samoyed. I was almost expecting the inspiration to be the Coton de Tulear, since the name alone gives cloud vibes. I also thought of Bichons, which look like clouds but don't really resemble the designs. At least I can pretend the psychic type design was inspired by Salukis with those ears, even if I know it's not true.
At the flying type, with the cloud designs, reminds me that a couple of months ago, when I look at some clouds on my way to ridning lessons, I saw some clouds that looked like a Vulpix and a Ninetales
Honestly still don't know why Nintendo wouldn't just hire people like this strong fans of the game to help design. If I didn't know better I would think these were all original Pokemon. This is the type of research and love I like to see in Pokemon design. 💗
I think you could have done a Border Collie as well for the Steel type dog, representing Shep, the dog who also waited for his master in Fort Benton, Montana. He waited for years and died by a train trying to retrieve a bone from the rails.
Man, the thought of being a pokemon trainer is so conflicting. On one hand, I want to be a hard-core veteran with the most baller and badass team with great synergy, type coverage and a bunch of nerd stuff that I wont get into, but on the other hand I just want every single dog pokemon and just chill at home with them all on the couch 😂
such lovely concepts, all of them!! i really wish some of them were real,, especially the cloud ones and sedimutt!! and ooh i would go nuts if you maybe decide to do a cats version of this video!! i feel like there's so much potential for cat pokemon that hasn't been used yet!
Because of these videos I’ve been binge watching, I have an idea for a future video - A Gholdengo of every type. Each type requires you to collect 999 of something, so a fire type could require you to collect coal or something flammable, a dragon type would require a collection of scales, etc. The steel type can be skipped, obviously, but a redesign of the 1000th Pokémon wouldn’t hurt to include.
I came up with a ice-type dog pokemon themed around huskys. It's called Snowski, the snow pup pokemon. Snowski simply love to play in the snow and it's pure white fur can help it blend into the snow to hide from stronger pokemon. It evolves into Iceski, the sled dog pokemon. Iceski are strong and team players, they are known for helping people get across deep snow by pulling them on sleds, some towns even hold Iceski sled races every winter. If pokemon intrude on it's territory, Iceski will use their powerful voices to scare them off, but if the intruding pokemon persists, then Iceski will attack them using the ice powers originating from the diamond-like ice crystals on its collar.
I have plenty of dog Pokemon ideas, but these Pokemon ideas stand out from the rest A grass type Komondor (a Hungarian shaggy dog breed) that is covered with ivy, it is very energetic but will often unintentionally sting people with its ivy covered coat A fire type Great Dane made of magma, it is very protective and will often jump into raging fires to save kids A water type blue heeler based off divers and surfers
An alternate pitch for Bug type: Tge Papillon dog breed is named for the french term for butterflies due to its disproportionaly large fluffy ears looking like butterfly wings on either side of its face. A papillon that is also a butterfly would be a great visual pun.
These are great! I especially love the Psychic design. I just wish all little dogs didn’t evolve into large breed dogs because I love my tiny curly tailed pups too much. That’s why Fidough is my favorite!
I really think a Rhodesian Ridgeback would be a great fighting type, due to its speed and ability to run across gravel and chase lions. They are known as a “hunting dog” so there’s that going for it.
finally someone who views lucario as a humaiod canine and not a dog like me! :P dog pokemon all the way, but as cat pokemon go, persion and Liepard are all i need :D
I'm working on a fan region, the grass type starter is a dog that I based on the Alaskan Malamute. Although it also draws inspiration from the idea of a wandering hero and Great Wolf Sif from Dark Souls. It's grass/ice in its first 2 stages and grass/steel at its final (yes I do plan on keeping the front limbs on the ground).
a lotta fakemon are lacking something you cant really place, that real pokemon authenticity. but every single mon you presented in this video _feels_ real. like i could see them in main games or anime. rainine especially was fuckin cool, and the bug type was a really interesting and creative workaround. good work man!
This video is actually pretty adorable. I'm not much of a Dog person myself, cause my little brothers and I had bad experiences with them when we were younger. But these Doggos are definitely worthy of me having them on my team, if they become real. Do Dogon and Pugrub evolve into Drakend and Beeterrier, by the way?
I gotta say furzen and it’s evolution art so cute but also cool. The evolution is cool and the little cutie pie is adorable. And the lore behind the steel type, Doggo is adorable and so sweet. I also love scotree because I am also indeed Scottish along with a bit of Irish, Welsh, French Canadian and Italian

I think it was very clever for the evo of the poison dog when they added a caution symbol to the barrel thing ❤️
Here's some dog ideas that have been on my mind for a while now:
- *Sheputy* (Fighting), *Sheperiff* (Fighting), and *Sheperative* (Fighting): German shepherds with police and soldier motifs. Details like chest fur patches shaped like badges, and Sheperative's fur being patterned like army camo.
> Shepherd + deputy
> Shepherd + sheriff
> Shepherd + operative
- *Huskowop* (Psychic) and *Alaskowop* (Psychic): Siberian husky and Alaskan malamute, both with shining blue eyes and aurora tendrils based on sled harnesses. Plays on the teamwork of huskies and malamutes in sled teams (as well as those shiny blue eyes). Kinda wanna save the Ice-type for some arctic wolves.
> Husky + co-op
> Alaska + co-op
So many cute doggos! I can’t pick a favorite! Maybe you could do other animals of every type (Like lizards, cats, monkeys, etc)
Another idea I had.
I need a Furzen and Pombus right now ;w;
And yey, Beeterrier won!
Same, I own 2 poms and it's perfect
You know. I actually genuinely liked all the designs for these. Some of them I need to become a actual pokemon asap game freak. Lol great job to everyone who designed these and to you for the video
I honestly though the ice type would've been based on a sled dog
Ability ideas:
Sedimutt/Digingo- Fast paws: 2 turn moves like dig and bounce instead take 1 turn, and have their damage increased by 25%.
My favorite part of the video was when puppy looked in the camera and said: “it’s puppin time”
I love Jinplar! Wish that one was real
A good boy of every type? Yes please
Now we need a cat Pokémon of every type
CUTNESS OVERLOAD!!!! MY HEART IS GOING TO BURST
btw. how is even the bug puppy so cute
These are all so cute! I've been wanting a schnauzer themed pokemon for forever, but the grass one is close enough lol
THIS IS SO CREATIVE AND SO GOOD WHATTTT
Amangrel should have an ability that makes it so that, if targeted in a double battle, the move user has a chance to target another Pokémon in the battle
or maybe it has a guaranteed chance to randomize who gets hit with the secondary effects of moves (ie: opponent uses ember on Amangrel, Amangrel takes the damage, but the game chooses another target (the opponent’s second Pokémon, the Amangrel, or Amangrel’s ally) for the burn chance)
Running two Amangrel would be wild 😂
@@PragMagik two Amangrel, both with the covert cloak (though that’d only work if the secondary effect is rolled AFTER the target of the ability was chosen)
dude-the bug type one I CANT ITs TO CUTE
all of the types are cute tho
For water type, you could have gone for the Portuguese Water Dog. Also Growlithe and Arcanine are part ChowChow I believe.
Pls make a cat pokemon of every type
At the flying type, with the cloud designs, reminds me that a couple of months ago, when I look at some clouds on my way to ridning lessons, I saw some clouds that looked like a Vulpix and a Ninetales
Here's a request of mine: A new Vanilluxe form for every type (based off of different ice cream flavors).
I love how thought out these designs, names, and backstory are. My fav. is Jinplar.
Snowarg and Sithorn are my favorite from the typings! Really love the designs
Beeterrier is so cute with those big eyes 👀🥺😍
Honestly still don't know why Nintendo wouldn't just hire people like this strong fans of the game to help design. If I didn't know better I would think these were all original Pokemon.
This is the type of research and love I like to see in Pokemon design. 💗
Never thought Id get a phantom ref in this
Beeterrier would be the first bug type I'd ever have on my team. Such a cute idea
Now I wanna see cat Pokémon of every type!
1:27 rock ruff is the puppy pokemon!
i still like the idea of a big fluffy doggo though, very cute
These designs are INCREDIBLE and SO well thought out. Well done!! I can't decide which one I like the most.
this video was awesome, all of these puppers are very inspired both design and lore wise, good stuff
I mean, we already got a dragon dog as Zygarde 10%, but I think this was a good addition
On one hand, I want to be a hard-core veteran with the most baller and badass team with great synergy, type coverage and a bunch of nerd stuff that I wont get into, but on the other hand I just want every single dog pokemon and just chill at home with them all on the couch 😂
i just know that the swablu and chowd lines will be best of friends☺
holy cow these were good designs great job artists
I love the idea of a Pokémon that survives off its cuteness
such lovely concepts, all of them!! i really wish some of them were real,, especially the cloud ones and sedimutt!! and ooh i would go nuts if you maybe decide to do a cats version of this video!! i feel like there's so much potential for cat pokemon that hasn't been used yet!
Man, the evolved flying type should have been a Samoyed. Arguably fluffier than the Chow, and already white and cloud-like!
If pokemon intrude on it's territory, Iceski will use their powerful voices to scare them off, but if the intruding pokemon persists, then Iceski will attack them using the ice powers originating from the diamond-like ice crystals on its collar.
all of these are adorable! would love to see a cat version
10:33 I have a collie so thanks for making a collie Pokemon here
I legitimately yelled POMBUS when I saw it. I LOVE IT.
I have plenty of dog Pokemon ideas, but these Pokemon ideas stand out from the rest
A grass type Komondor (a Hungarian shaggy dog breed) that is covered with ivy, it is very energetic but will often unintentionally sting people with its ivy covered coat
A fire type Great Dane made of magma, it is very protective and will often jump into raging fires to save kids
A water type blue heeler based off divers and surfers
I love the phantom of the opera dog!!! Easily one of my favorite musicals!😁
Some ideas for „Pokemon of every Type“
Charcadet Evolution of every Type:
Bow & Arrow / Crossbow - Flying
Trident - Water
Spear - Electric
Whip - Dark
Shield - Steel
Sickle / Scythe - Bug
Mace / Morningstar - Rock
Warhammer - Ground
Dagger - Poison
Axe - Grass
Staff - Fairy
Gauntlets / Knuckles - Fighting
Lance - Ice
Sling - Normal
Katana - Dragon
I really think a Rhodesian Ridgeback would be a great fighting type, due to its speed and ability to run across gravel and chase lions. They are known as a “hunting dog” so there’s that going for it.
THEY ARE ALL SO CUTE!!!! 4:02 I kinda really want a scotree as a pet, but it’s evolution looks very vicious or be a pet, still want one tho
I need all of these sweet puppies on my team, immediately! Seriously incredible work from the artists!
finally someone who views lucario as a humaiod canine and not a dog like me! :P dog pokemon all the way, but as cat pokemon go, persion and Liepard are all i need :D
*Holds up Bug Dogg*
This is my son, he has every disease.
How do we not have a water doggo still😀
I gotta say furzen and it’s evolution art so cute but also cool. The evolution is cool and the little cutie pie is adorable. And the lore behind the steel type, Doggo is adorable and so sweet. I also love scotree because I am also indeed Scottish along with a bit of Irish, Welsh, French Canadian and Italian
7:11 Reminds me of "La roca del Perro" a Puerto Rican legend.
For the water type, it could've also been a retriever, or other water dogs that are used to retrieve ducks
Jinplar actually looks cool, you and trevenart did a great job
I remember making a design of a ice type dog mon that was mixed of a husky a malamute and seals/ sea lions. (Planning on making a redesign of it)
2:50 a pit bull would also make sense though they could be dark type yeah both of these would play of the breeds stereotypes
