Z - 14 is my favourite too.
I like that Leather accord in the base.
But I'm gonna find Halston's Classic from 1974. and we'll see the quality of that Chypre, done by the great Bernard Chant.

I have vintage bottles of 1-12 and z-14. 1-12 is so underrated. It’s a fantastic spring scent that shares a similar scent profile to Green Irish Tweed, (without that minty opening.) I bought my vintage bottle for 32.00 bucks…ridiculously cheap. I’m going to jump on Limited! I grew up in that era and didn’t even know limited existed. Fantastic video. I love the almost documentary quality breakdown of the house.

Brooooo... All about it! Haulston was kool. Estylio! Haven't got my nose on chemistry... but the composition looks insane! The layout seems very all over the place. Can't wait to experience it!
Yeah man Catalyst is a trip... but all the ones mentioned in the video are good...it's just the newer ones are more fresh like Z .... not my favorite but still well done for that style

So I'm a guy who's roughly your age (36), whose favorite fragrance (or at least top 3) is Azuree, and I can tell you that Halston (the original) is right up there with Azuree as my favorite fragrance, and as one of Chant's best. HIGHLY recommend you get it. Definitely the brand's best IMO.
It is on the never ending wish list 🤞🏼
Vintage Azuree is one of the greatest fragrances of all time IMHO
Great video like always Ram🤝 So unfortunate that no one nowadays can smell the genius of old school perfumery because of all the rules against the art of it all. I wish that the world had some kahones and designers dared to put out stuff like Halston did. SOTD tomorrow is going to be Halston 101 just because of the video💪

The NASCAR ones are the ones with out the regulations/scents of south Jersey reviewed the z-14 jeff Gordon set/i got the 1-12 straight up cinnamon,big red smell (opening), reminds me of Versace eros flame but the ruff smelling version...

Bro I did it based on yours and several other recommendations plus after looking @ the notes I had to know and I purchased a bottle of Halston z-14. This is a beautiful fragrance! I am luving the blend of the obvious lemon/ bergamot on the top with the larger stronger cinnamon leather notes and of course that powdery note that kind of sprinkles into this fragrance. 100% masculine and I get darker Hermes vibes if this makes sense
It is so overlooked because of the price towards the end ...but this will definitely get a vintage Hall of Fame Review from me

I love Z-14 and its definitely the more party fragrance,but in the minority because i like 1-12 more. Its classy amd mature. I like them both though. I want to get the womans because it was done by Bernard Chant.

Hey you never know! They’re currently making an attempt to revive Coty with new (and predictably expensive) releases. Same could happen w your beloved Halston someday. Turned into an ambroxan/amberwood heavy, mass-tige blob 😈
Actually haven’t tried the new Coty, so they could actually be great lol, but seems unlikely.
I haven't tried them either... but my expectations are so low anything with a pulse now a days is an improvement
I had a Halston back in the late sixtys or early seventys . Dont remember which one, but do remember never wearing it because i didnt like it.

@@RamseytheRam Absolutely, your taste will change with age. I simply threw a lot that I didn't like away and saved some I was on the fence about. Maybe they just spoiled but I was never going to ever wear them again. Bad is always bad though.

Halston Man Amber is maybe not a unicorn, but it smells like one lol, maybe the best myrrh amber scent, have not smelled anything similar, it smells like gold
