I was in this store Saturday after thanksgiving and bought a sponge frog out of that MCM booth! I was so excited. I had been looking for some time for 1 and got it for 9 bucks 😍🐸
That corner sofa unit at 31:10 brought back some memories for me. We had one very similar to that when I was about 3 in the 50’s. I have a vivid memory of playing on it, tripping, and falling face first on the corner table. A very traumatic and dramatic scene ensued. To the point that the memory is still vivid all these decades later.
Good evening, George! Loved the child's piano! That was a fancy one. I always wanted a collection of children's creamers and sugars. No space for that now, though. Those cups and saucers were nice. I have a Buster Brown tea set. I used to have some old Hilton Hotel plates...sold them when I moved here. There was a statue next to the 70's beverage set that caught my eye. I used to have one of those Filipino Lazy Susans. They take a LOT of space to display. Never been a fan of the panther lamps, but I did like that green pair. Fun shops there, with really interesting items. Thanks for the take-along!
I feel the need to find another child's piano to buy now after seeing that, Schoenhut was always a little more detailed/refined somehow to me and that was an old one. I like the children's rimmed dishes from the 1920s, I could hang a stub wall of those in a kitchen or something. The lazy susans were common in Washington when I was a kid because of import stores and everyone's Navy dad having been stationed there, I couldn't ever justify the space. The green pair were so dynamic with those shades! I'm glad you had fun with it too
Thank you for this video. Cooter’s Garage is one of our favorite places to take out of town guests when they visit. We need to get over and see the vintage stores in that area.
I actually thought those green/gold decanter set with only 3 glasses was nice and I don't usually like the green ones. Thanks for sharing and you have a great day and safe travels. Happy Holidays to you and yours
I saw a lot of stuff that I used to own, including the funnel-shaped fireplace (I won it at a home show and sold it for $50 😕). If I’d had the space, and kept all that stuff from the 60s and 70s….I could get some good money today!….and I’d have a reputation as a hoarder 🤣.
Hello George great video I enjoyed it very much. Could you tell me who made the green lamps? Is that color called chartreuse? I have a lamp that color it's Coy fish I don't know who made it. Thank you
I was desperate yesterday (New Years Day) and sent my son to the local corner store for toilet paper. I didn't realise that he would come back with 12 rolls for $18. WHAT? Talk about price gouging!

The Z24 emblem is actually from a Chevy Cavalier. The Camaro is a Z28.
😢 dang I was just there the other day, I would have loved to run into you! I'd show you all the good places to go 😊

I'm looking forward to this one.
I've been looking forward to showing it all day!
29:56 I HAVE THAT SEARS PREWAY FIREPLACE , MINE WAS ORANGE
I saw a lot of stuff that I used to own, including the funnel-shaped fireplace (I won it at a home show and sold it for $50 😕). If I’d had the space, and kept all that stuff from the 60s and 70s….I could get some good money today!….and I’d have a reputation as a hoarder 🤣.
I remember the Cavalier Z24. My dad had one a long time ago.
28:00 MY PARENTS HAD ONE OF THE THOSE WOODEN LAZY SUSANS
So did mine!
Hello George!
Hi there!
I’m trying to remember how you tell the early smiley face items from new ones.
The curl at the end of the smile is more pronounced on newer ones
Sorry I missed it. Wasnt home.
Hi Friends, the more comments and shares George receives the more TH-cam likes his channel! 😊
Your videos are awesome,I travel all over and don't spend any gas money,,when you talk about the vintage bags will you say the prices please 😊
Glad to take you with me! I will try to highlight prices more often
My god how many people used that ashtray at one time? Talk about second hand smoke!
Was that era, yes
Hello George great video I enjoyed it very much. Could you tell me who made the green lamps? Is that color called chartreuse? I have a lamp that color it's Coy fish I don't know who made it. Thank you
three years ago i couldnt find toilet paper -- now i cant afford it
It was most expensive during the covid shortage.
Price gouging! 😠

😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
George, I'm going to Las Vegas for Christmas. Remind me what the name of the antique/thrift shop of your friend is.
33:37 HAVE ONE OF THOSE RED LABEL MURANO PAPERWEIGHTS . SO YOU'RE SAYING THEY'RE FAKE ?
I really like that wall unit wondering if 2100.00 is a decent price
Do you ever run into vintage sports equipment, leather football helmets, old baseball gloves, etc?
Do you have a store space in Florida? If so, where?
We’re you there after the tornadoes?
Cheap real estate? In Nashville? Compared to CA or NYC - yes, but cheap? I live near Nashville. Yes, a lot of Californians are moving here.
You did it again!!!! Please get it right. Kanawha is pronounced Can aw.
Z24 is a chevy, but it's not a camaro. that would be Z28.
Sucks it's now impossible to ID REAL Murano...
