I’m a Sox fan and let me say this. Congrats to the cubs and you accomplishment. Now I’m pretty sure we both have three titles each. One issue with you guys is it looks like you’re going back to a rebuild unless the offense and pitching produces. You also need prospects since your farm system is in the bottom third of the league. As a Sox fan I hope my Sox are on a rise and watching these intra squad games it looks like it. We rebuilt great with a farm system in top ten in the league and with our current players I hope we can get a wild card birth this year. Overall, both teams will be fun to watch I just hope my Sox can do better

Man Theo gave you guys a bonafide superstar with Eloy. Easily one of the biggest one sided deals of the Epstein era. But...Hoyer made a very shrewd deal w San Diego. 4 excellent prospects and a legit #3 starter. Plus some of the young pitching is ready to enter the bigs (Alzolay and Marquez). Cubs may be one of the surprise teams this season but he Sox are my pick to win the AL Central

Contrary to popular belief, the biggest mistake Joe made in the series wasn't bring Chapman in with 2 outs in the 7th inning. It was waiting a full 2 minutes to get someone up in the bullpen after Rizzo's homerun landed in the top of the 9th causing Aroldis to start the 9th needlessly. Every pitch (including warm up pitches) saved would have benefitted for game 7.
Exactly !!! He could’ve just put in Pedro Strop or Travis wood to finish it off and had he done that, Chapman would’ve closed out game 7 with full rest !
When I was 5 in 2011 I put up a Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians sticker and I told my dad I bet when I’m 10 this will be the World Series he said yeah right 4 years later I laugh at it

It’s less that he lost his power and more that he can’t stay healthy enough. Starting in 2018, Bryant started missing a lot of time with injuries, which in turn has affected his power. When he’s healthy, he can hit, but he just can’t stay on the field long enough to reach that point anymore
Not to take anything away from this players and teams, this was a great world series, but the Cubs jersey looks aful. So does the Indians. Should be home white jersey and visiters gray jersey.
