Awesome tips Slater. If I may add, sometimes we really don't know where the leak is coming from, especially yung may mga ceilings. Water kasi will flow to the lowest part of a given plane. Kaya, the leak on the roof may have been on the otherside of the house but the dripping may be experienced at other end of the house. In this case, things could get a bit tricky! Sometimes, it would take a long time to figure this out.
If there is enough space between the ceiling and the roof you can poke your head in through an access or better yet, climb/crawl in. Do this during the day and any holes in the roof will be obvious. It should be pitch black inside the ceiling and even really small holes will appear as light shining through if you do this during a sunny day. Poke a "walis tingting" twig through the hole and once you climb the roof just look for it poking out. 😉
Good rainy day Master Slater! Need help! Any advice.for the quickest way to put sealant on more than 100 tekscrews/bolts and a few overlaps of roofing thats like 20ft more or less per overlap. Done half the roof using vulcaseal (done with 1 cans of 1L each) and when weather is gloomy, switched to elastoseal (done with 3 250g tubes) and still have more to reseal and its a pain in the vutt doing it. Eyeing the Pr1mero elastomeric waterproofing sealant which is budget friendly and most important application is done via paint paint then with the fiber cloth added, much better sealing as what the ads say. So yeah looking for sealants or way that can be easy to apply and yeah still strong like the leading brands and lastly budget friendly even tho budget should not be much of an issue when it comes to waterproofing your hoise as compared to soaked interior and structure damage due to water.. I thought this is a Tagalog word. Probably no? But I can only hear it from my Batangueña mum.
Not 100% sure if alam din ng ibang tagalog, like sa Bulacan. Sa Mindoro they usually use “Anggi” .
