Where the HELL are you guys.
This guy is good. Foreign accent is easily understood. Drew a complete floor plan in 3 videos and now drawing elevations in 2 videos. Floor plan not to US standard {no closets in bedrooms and 3' counter tops instead of 2' } but the concept is exactly the same. Thank you SorceCAD.
That would be SorceryCad ;)
Thank you teacher for showing me how to design elevation in AutoCAD , may GOD give you ability to teach those who still want to learn like me.
You are a very good instructor my company spent thousands of dollars for me come to class for 3 weeks and not nearly as you as you are, thank you very much.
This man is outstanding, transcending the Accent barrier, Simple yet straightforward and easy understanding.
Though I'm used to working in centimeters and meters,
It's word the 24$ / month subscription.
Use Xline instead of Line when referencing the different parts of your drawing. That way you don't have to continuously zoom in and out; You also draw 2x faster that way.
Thanks much. This was a very helpful comment!
You are such a great teacher, the way you speak is just out of the world. Thank you so much sir. I learned many things from you. You got a new subscriber.

Really your ebook is very useful thanks for that...
thank you so much for these nice tutorials!
Fantastic tutorial mate. Loved your style, videography, language and ease. I was about to ask for the elevation tutorial and I came across this. Thanks ton
Just use xline command instead of line command... In keyboard type xl+v for vertical lines and xl+h for horizontal lines. Its much easier
this is the best elevation plan video i've seen!

Really worth it .Greately appreciate
Very nice explanation here, thank you.
amazing videos bro ! really easy to follow for new beginners !
Thanks , you have break my thought me,
Congratulations I really love it
Please elaborate why did you take different offsets and how can you determine that these are the heights you need.
If you explain it step by step why you take 11' or 16' height , it will be more helpful for beginners.
Does anyone know/did you find out and care to explain?
Great video but i have one minor gripe. Coming from a construction background, the ridgeline of the main roof would be higher or even to the gabled roof section that comes out over the front entrance. Just a simple change. I can say from experience building homes that that kind of design will tick off any contractor. Especially framing workers.
Hey, Craig. I had the same impression, as I have now been in the construction trade, plans examining of the building codes aspect, and now in architectural design throughout my life. I think the basic concept of AutoCad is what the author is trying to convey here, and the actual procedure and field concept he's leaving to the expert designers and builders, is all. Anyway, that's my take on it. I've learned a great deal from these videos that he does, and I realize that the practical implementation of his design won't necessarily transfer to real field conditions in all examples. But, he gives us some great tools to work with. Hey, I hope you do well in your endeavors!
@@dodgermkz You two are really civil. It's a breath of fresh air in any youtube comment section.
@@stilliving thank you! Hope things are going well for you.
Great teaching, thank you
solid works sir 😃
Nice one many thanks
Thanks, learning the technique
Thank you very helpful 🙏🏼
how do you know which heights to use im so confused
Thanks so so much helped me alot.
Ma sha allah,
Nice .....!
I personally convert each elevations into a block (may it be in the main dwg file or xref). This way, the drafting can be messy with all the projection lines but the elevation blocks are copied to a separate location in the model space where it is rotated and aligned to view. There are other ways obviously, its just the way how i do it.
Great deviations
love ya! thanks! ^^
Yes, but how do you decide what you want the outside to look like. Certainly, there's are dozens of potential exterior designs that one could make.
Thanks a lot your videos are very helpful and simply understandable compared to others and hoping for few shortcuts tips from you for autocad.
Good video for the learner. Thank you very much for the organizer.

Hi! Very useful veideos, thanks!
I have a question, where do you get all those dimensions?
He is recreating a plan which can be downloaded from the link in the description. Otherwise, irl an architect just decides these himself/ herself.
Can have more explanation over the floor plan for beginners
Thank you for this lesson
Amazing learned alot
Why didn't you use the construction line feature to create the construction lines? You wouldn't have to repeatedly zoom in and zoom out and pan to manually draw the lines? They should be in the "draw" drop down menu under where you select the line function.
Thank you source cad,..
Their
amazing
Thanks it helps a lot, can you make this 3d?
hello great job.but why stress yourself drawing with line work when you can use structural elements to generate your elevation at once.
Can you show me how
Please make a video and explain how.
Hello sir can u please show us how to draw elevation and section of a particular room from this floor plan ?
Sir why you are not using XL command to draw vertical line for referencing.... It removes the hassle of zoom in and out and also much faster
Nice one
sir how you are putting the offset value are you putting randomly or is there any details that i am missing
Hi..it's cool your videos, but is it possible to draw the plan of a storey building? ? More over how to use archicad also

Hey just have one question. How do i make sure everything scales in ratio with the house plan. The blocks from design Centre and the layout is either too big or two small although the measurements of the house plan were followed. How would I fix this?
i cant see the dimensions of the door and windows? could you please post the end points of the door and windows?
