I learned this from an outfitter, cotton ball and Vaseline or any petroleum jelly. Split cotton ball smear P.J ( think sandwich) and in a wood stove it only take two one in back and one in front. Open the flew and watch it take off. Great fire starter. I carry some in my pack, in case I need to make a fire in the back country when hunting. They will start even if it's raining! Just thought I would share this with you. Be blessed
I bought my brand new and I paid 200 for it here in Washington and I love it. had it over 5 years and that heats my12 /14 tent up fairly quick. And i love it
ive had mine for awile now and love it,i had to modify one of the legs. i had to upgrade to a 6in pipe. mine is not a permanent stove .so i run it out the window using 45s. couldnt find 45s in a 5 in stove pipe.enjoy yours
I might be wrong about this. It looked like you had the spark arrester on upside down and facing into the stove pipe. I had always seen them facing up and around the outside of the stovepipe. Again I may be wrong. Nice video!!
For anyone planning to use this stove. Please follow the instructions and do your initial burn outside. This stove has oils that need to be burned off prior to using in your tent
We actually put the floor in ourselves Chris. Built a deck and covered it with vinyl! You get tents with floors built in just depends what you’re looking for!

Nice purchase, got on myself from the same place. Can’t wait to try it out. Where’s the tent video? I’d like to see the setup!

Does it take a 16 inch piece of wood? Firewood you can pick up at a gas station ect?
Do you have to lay down the floors of the wall tent? Do they come with the tent? How does that work?
