The Imperfect Cell has always been my favorite version of the character. I even remember that I had one of the old toys that came with a blast affect missile. Personally I like it when the villains in Dragon Ball don’t look so humanoid when they power up like Super Cooler
Every time I even THINK of getting a figure, like just randomly pops in my head, I always go to your channel for reviews because your the most honest and actually care about the figure and not just doing for money
Heya Anthony! I'm thinking of getting into collecting these figures when I have the chance, and I've found that of all the figure reviewers that I've come across, you tell it the most objectively. You do review the likeness to the actual character, but you also don't let any biases get in the way. You review it as a figure and point out the standard you should strive for in a figure to own. I really appreciate this. I was watching many of your videos from years ago and some just a few months back, and so it's pretty great that I now have the opportunity to watch these videos in (almost) real time with everyone else as these current figures release! I look forward to using your reviews to inform the decisions I'll make regarding figure collecting. Thank you and have a wonderful rest of your career!
Solid review. They could re-release Perfect Cell as Super Perfect Cell and make him taller/beefier with new accessories. That'd make such an awesome figure, especially with the technology they have now!
Absolutely agree we need a updated Perfect Cell. Not sure how I feel about articulated tails on these guys, they do what I hope for them to do, but they look strange to me with the execution. If they gave us posed tails to swap out like the hands, and faces, then I wouldn’t hate that. I just don’t know about the bendy wire stuff. Really psyched for this cell figure though, I like all his forms but the first form is easily one of my favorites.
Perfect Cell probably top of my list for a redo. 16 actually up there too. I've been using the Dragon Stars or Model kit Cell. Way better sizes. As far as measuring and scale, I know for me I understand the purely height measurement, but theres more to a figure than just height and seeing its stature and volume and overall presence next to stuff I have (or close enough) gives me a better impression of how it'll look in a display. Not saying that you should do the line up like everyone else, it's just me. But having a mascot figure is a fun addition to the routine.
I think for tails they should either include multiple pre posed tails, or do it monster arts style and just make it a bunch of segments connected with ballpegs
LETS GOOOO I think you're right about proportions, I'm glad you didn't go into a gripe about how he should be this 12 foot tall guy like what I've seen others do when he's not that much taller than Piccolo canonically
100% they need to redo Perfect Cell especially with how good this figure looks and if they do imperfect Cell. This is yet another figure I want to get.
I absolutely want a new Perfect Cell & Purple Jacket Trunks! Dragon Stars Cell was a perfect replacement for The Figuarts but since they’re now wrapping up the Namek Saga it’s Time we get more renewals of some characters
I got two of the First Form/Imperfect Cell and the only QC issues I had is with one of them the joints were waaay to tight and felt like the leg was gonna to snap just moving it forward other than that the second one is all but perfect for QC. My biggest issue is just the height with this Cell they should have made him bigger than Piccolo and shrunk his head just a bit and he would have looked a lot better besides that it's so awesome to finally have him. Also we definitely need a new perfect Cell the old one is terrible like it had horrible faces, the chest was way to narrow, it was way to small and just wasn't fun to handle. Also agree on the tail would prefer it come with two one mono pose platic tail and one with a wire that you can pose that's not going to break the sculpt.
Had the same QC issue with the leg. My cells right like after moving the leg became like used in the hip socket an it’s practically hanging on for dear life now. Bluefin is sending me a replacement as of today. Super bummed out cause he just came in the mail today..
I think it's a fact that we need a much more improved Perfect Cell. Between Frieza Form 2, Cooler, and even this figure. Cell is a big beefy boy. Yes he's smaller than Imperfect but he's still a chonky boy. Tails - In an ideal world with would be a bendy tail with a wire that also matched the finish of the rest of the body. In the real world, that really isn't happening. Not all that feasible. I think their execution was a nice idea but I think I'd just want swivels with a nice sized ball joint at the connection. It's not like this thing is going to wrap around anyone. I may repaint one side to be black.
I'd like a fully articulated tail like the ones they've done on the Monster Arts so i don't understand why it's so difficult for them to do it on these
I know they’re limited but I still really like soft plastic tails with a metal wire in them. No break in the sculpt but still poseable. Also, this figure has updated packaging that has the instruction booklet normally included with SH Figuarts printed on the inside flap of the box and I think that’s cool, cuts down on paper that people usually throw away
I put my Perfect Cell figure away when this came, he looks so much better in my display. I’m with you, really want a new Perfect Cell. So much age on him. Still love it tho.
I got mine in today but his left leg popped out. I have yet to actually be able to reconnect it (the little blue piece that goes between the upper leg and hip) and I'm hoping I can return it without any issues. It sucks because I was really looking forward to this figure because first form cell is in my top 5 characters from DBZ.
Yeah I didn’t notice until you pointed it out but he is rather stumpy compared to the source material age that’s the only critic I would have but I get your pov. Also the tails are probably the most polarizing part to articulate, my personal preference is the mewtwo style but I know I’m not speaking for the masses
How do you feel about wire tails? I feel like this figure would have benefited greatly from having a rubber tail with a wire. Posable without breaking the sculpt.
If done correctly it’s good but there was nothing wrong with their final form frieza tail design, if I could change 1 thing tho it would be making the tail peg longer so it doesn’t pop out as easy
Yeh 2.0 cell is ideal. Even if it's released as "super perfect cell". The 1.0 is still ok IMO. Great detail. But I agree it's annoyingly undersized actually.
I would like a new Perfect Cell. I really like the size of the Dragon Stars Perfect Cell. It just needs the hands, articulation, and heads. This figure isn't as lean as he looked in the anime. Bandai may have beefed him up a bit to be more sturdy.
Toriyama hated drawing cell. especially the spots. He was told by the editors at shonnen jump to come up with a new villain cuz they thought the androids were lame.
Anyone waiting for a larger Perfect Cell, in the meantime, get that Figure Rise Standard model kit. It's a whole head taller than his SHF version. Really easy build, no paint or glue needed. If you know how to do a little painting and add clear coat (matte and semigloss) you can make it look as good or better than the SHF.
They missed the mark with this and it’s all based on the lack of height. He’s meant to be dumb tall and he’s so short. Kills the vibe of this figure. Other than that the figure looks impressively great.
I really want a Perfect cell 2.0 I really hope they take cues from the model kit more buff cell that model kit was awesome if they make that in figure form I’m game
Hum...for once you don't have QC issues. I think I bought the one you should have had with your luck. A leg broke off at the (very cheap and fragile) hip ball joint...
Yep 2.0. Perfect Cell is much needed, way too scrawny and small. Would love for them to do the Kamehameha effect again as well but I don't see Figurarts doing that again unfortunately.
Man his tail is rough but have you seen the new 2nd form Frieza? His tail looks a billion times worse. Hopefully they figure a way to articulate the tails better going forward.
1:36 Ha! Bug Man make out with weird skinny guy... I feel like I made that joke already, oh well but the REAL question is how does Darwin get so much lip action.
For me the scale is a dealbreaker. Other than the kid figures this guy looks the wackiest out of any 2.0 figure. should be way bigger The issue is they scaled him with the same scale as the androids and Perfect Cell 1.0 which are all undersized, older outdated figures. rather than the standard they have with 2.0s with the Frieza/Ginyu characters and Buu. it also unfortunately means when Perfect Cell does come out he will either be a re-release of that same 1.0 figure or have the same proportions.

Yes! I completely agree with getting a 2.0 Perfect Cell that's taller and more muscular.
I sold my Perfect Cell and have a Dragon Stars one as a stand in for now
@@emperorkain7027 yep! I did the exact same man.
The Imperfect Cell has always been my favorite version of the character. I even remember that I had one of the old toys that came with a blast affect missile.
Personally I like it when the villains in Dragon Ball don’t look so humanoid when they power up like Super Cooler
Imperfect cell look so menacing and cool but if I saw that in real life I would probably lose my mind I would probably puke out of pure fear
Every time I even THINK of getting a figure, like just randomly pops in my head, I always go to your channel for reviews because your the most honest and actually care about the figure and not just doing for money
Happy to help

Thanks a lot for the support. I'm happy to help.
Isn't it a little concerning that not a single figure company has made a semi perfect cell?
A bit. I would definitely want one.
Solid review. They could re-release Perfect Cell as Super Perfect Cell and make him taller/beefier with new accessories. That'd make such an awesome figure, especially with the technology they have now!
If you’re making a cell action figure, the tail HAS to articulate! It’s what separates him from the other villains.
Absolutely agree we need a updated Perfect Cell.

The last perfect cells we got looked like imperfect cell in cosplay we definetly need a new one with more muscular proportions

A new perfect cell, trunks and a kid buu figure are my most wanted dbz figuarts
I kinda wish his colors were more vibrant, like when he first appeared in the anime, with the more lime green look.
I know nothing about DB but I really like the design of this guy. I may pick him up then display him next to my kaijus.
That’s really cool :) and he’s a pretty badass villain. One of my favs
You have good taste
I think it's a fact that we need a much more improved Perfect Cell. Between Frieza Form 2, Cooler, and even this figure. Cell is a big beefy boy. Yes he's smaller than Imperfect but he's still a chonky boy.

I really do appreciate your honest review, it has helped me a lot deciding what figures to get.
I'd like a fully articulated tail like the ones they've done on the Monster Arts so i don't understand why it's so difficult for them to do it on these
They don't do it like that for smooth designs
I just want the damn tail to be like what they did with the D-arts Mewtwo, we havent had that in so long
I know they’re limited but I still really like soft plastic tails with a metal wire in them. No break in the sculpt but still poseable. Also, this figure has updated packaging that has the instruction booklet normally included with SH Figuarts printed on the inside flap of the box and I think that’s cool, cuts down on paper that people usually throw away
i dont believe so but its been a while since i handled this one
a taller and bigger cell is a must..dont let cell be another piccolo.
Thats astronaut tshirt looked awesome
Bendy wire tails are the best
15:14 That's what she said.
Why does his peeper look exactly like his beak? Very cool figure and very cool review 👏👍😽💕💕💕 love the poses!
thats a good question
I got mine a couple of days ago and when I opened the blister, it’s left leg, arm and wing fell off. It never had happened to me before.
Now I'm relaxed. Now I know i will enjoy this figure once i get it. Thanks for the review.
We need a 2.0 perfect cell. Now, this imperfect cell is neat, but it needed a Makankosappo (Special beam cannon) hand.
I put my Perfect Cell figure away when this came, he looks so much better in my display. I’m with you, really want a new Perfect Cell. So much age on him. Still love it tho.
I would really like a highly posable tail, even if it doesn't look the greatest. The way they do tails right now feels too limited.
Perfect articulation for tail is with a metal wire inside, just my opinion 👌
"MR.SANDMAN?, BRING ME A DREAM."
We desperately need a new perfect cell with proper proportions. They have the experience and modern technology to do it, so let's see it!
Cell in his first form sounds like green goblin
Since sh figuarts has made many newer versions of many of the old figures so they must do a more faithful interpretation of perfect cell.
Yeah I didn’t notice until you pointed it out but he is rather stumpy compared to the source material age that’s the only critic I would have but I get your pov. Also the tails are probably the most polarizing part to articulate, my personal preference is the mewtwo style but I know I’m not speaking for the masses
Yes freaking yes for another new resculpted PERFECT CELL!💪
How do you feel about wire tails? I feel like this figure would have benefited greatly from having a rubber tail with a wire. Posable without breaking the sculpt.
Not a fan for most figures
If done correctly it’s good but there was nothing wrong with their final form frieza tail design, if I could change 1 thing tho it would be making the tail peg longer so it doesn’t pop out as easy
9:47 i actually love how they made the tail
I’ve a question. Are the wings supposed to come off? Because I opened mine and they keep coming off. I think it’s broken.
Man I’m early to a Anthony video! Let’s go!!! Great review🎉🎉🎉
A bendy wire tail would’ve been cool in my opinion
We do need a new perfect Cell. Do you plan on getting the 2nd and 3rd forms for Frieza?
Yeh 2.0 cell is ideal. Even if it's released as "super perfect cell".
The 1.0 is still ok IMO. Great detail.
But I agree it's annoyingly undersized actually.
100% someone do a petition for an updated perfect cell
I would like a new Perfect Cell. I really like the size of the Dragon Stars Perfect Cell. It just needs the hands, articulation, and heads.
This figure isn't as lean as he looked in the anime. Bandai may have beefed him up a bit to be more sturdy.
Toriyama hated drawing cell. especially the spots. He was told by the editors at shonnen jump to come up with a new villain cuz they thought the androids were lame.
I don’t mind not getting blast effects but these characters can fly they should all be getting flight stands
I want them to release a semi perfect cell that’s my fav form but this one is awesome
Thank you for usinf cms 😊
Yes absolutely to another perfect cell. The old ones can be so hard to find.
I'm hanging out for a new perfect Cell, I haven't bothered to chase the previous one as I feel it's too small.
They missed the mark with this and it’s all based on the lack of height. He’s meant to be dumb tall and he’s so short. Kills the vibe of this figure. Other than that the figure looks impressively great.
I want a Perfect Cell 2.0 but mostly because I don't have the original one and I refuse to pay that much money for an outdated figure.
I really want a Perfect cell 2.0 I really hope they take cues from the model kit more buff cell that model kit was awesome if they make that in figure form I’m game
As Cell once said “I drink people “
I want a 2nd form cell just to complete the lineup
Isn't his tail retracted in the cartoon anyway or tucked away in his back that's the version I would want or at least two swappable tails for him.
Not sure when it is or isn't. Been a while
Hum...for once you don't have QC issues. I think I bought the one you should have had with your luck. A leg broke off at the (very cheap and fragile) hip ball joint...
Bummer
It’s always a treat to see Anthony’s face in his videos
Yep 2.0. Perfect Cell is much needed, way too scrawny and small. Would love for them to do the Kamehameha effect again as well but I don't see Figurarts doing that again unfortunately.
I just got him for $30, so I'm pretty happy with him.
Where at?
I'd give it a 7 the torso to limited and the ankles to. The tail I don't mine. Those joints sound like there ready to break lol
Yeah a 2.0 perfect cell would be perfect but would top it off is Semiperfect cell
I had a qc issue too, the left feet fall off
Man his tail is rough but have you seen the new 2nd form Frieza? His tail looks a billion times worse. Hopefully they figure a way to articulate the tails better going forward.
What i suggested is the best way for sure
As soon as I got my cell the left hip broke.😢😢
Mine's out for delivery today lol
Will you bring to your channel the review of the exclusive broly of the New York Comic Con?
Whenever i can get one. Probably have to wait for the pb release
@@AnthonysCustoms But, the release of PB has already been announced. In fact, there are no more figures in stock.😅
1:36 Ha! Bug Man make out with weird skinny guy...
I feel like I made that joke already, oh well but the REAL question is how does Darwin get so much lip action.
This Figure Looks Dope But Is Anyone Else Excited About Second Form Frieza?
Besides the size i really really like it. I Gotta get him soon
I don't think Cell should absorb Darwin. He might end up transforming into a bad figure!
Fr slightly taller or lankier would of been a 9.5/10
Good
First a new teen Gohan then perfect Cell
For me the scale is a dealbreaker. Other than the kid figures this guy looks the wackiest out of any 2.0 figure. should be way bigger The issue is they scaled him with the same scale as the androids and Perfect Cell 1.0 which are all undersized, older outdated figures. rather than the standard they have with 2.0s with the Frieza/Ginyu characters and Buu. it also unfortunately means when Perfect Cell does come out he will either be a re-release of that same 1.0 figure or have the same proportions.
I love it
No i dont agree with you interms of the tale for me its okey instead of interchangeable tale its prone to break the peg
I'd have purchased two if the tail wasn't hideous.
Super perfect cell after he went boom and came back
Hey, you seem familiar. Did I help you in a gamestop in north Texas?
Only GameStop I've been to in Texas would have been in the dfw area.
@@AnthonysCustoms plano?
Nope. Only been to Southlake or Watauga locations.
Review turles, he’s a strong release
A soon as they ship him to me
But hear me out, bendy wire tails
If Cell absorbed Darwin he wouldve nigh unstoppable! he he
should make the tail wired
This one was honestly kinda disappointing after waiting so long for a new Cell.
New cell only smaller eyes
Left foot keeps falling off. So tired of Bandai low quality products
👀👀👀👀👀
The figure looks great
I really want to see Anthony put a hat on. He should do a charity fundraiser where he wears a hat if it reaches its goal.
He always hatin
