I can't believe you had a 30-minute discussion with someone who thought the ambulance doors couldn't close because there were too many angels trying to get in. That's crazy.
"90% of her brain was damaged. She saw angels and stuff!" Yeah pretty sure damaging the brain can cause all sorts of things lol, I'm more likely to believe it was brain damage or possibly just a result of what the brain does when you're flatlining ;P
Also important to remember: People only see angels when they die if they believe they are angels beforehand. Atheists don't see angels and other religions see other religious figures. I wonder why that is.
In the first few minutes the guest changed his own definition of miracle several times. First he said "Miracles are things that cannot be explained", then a little later he said "Miracles are things that God does". And that in the first 10 minutes.
from my understanding there is evidence that the brain takes on a similar state when dying as someone taking psychedelics and that would generally explain NDEs enough for me at least
I find lots of the time I spend unconscious, is filled with stories and pictures.. and thats when the noode strudel is working (arguably) perfectly.. That explains brain pictures, and stories every time that happens.
He should look up the studies, where the put a cup or something on top of a shelf, and when people had their “out of body” thing, they could tell a lot about what they saw, but they couldn’t tell you what the object was.
Genuine question: How were they talking about what they saw without saying what it was that they saw? What were the describing? The vibes of the object?
@@optimus_rhymes6955 OHHH. I see. So what you're saying is that they displayed they didn't actually have an out of body experience because if they did, they would've seen the cup.
19:30 The church standing the test of time is a sign it's true? What about all other faiths that also stood "the test of time"? What about past faiths that people really though would never go away, but since, have gone away?
I don't know why the guy even continues arguing after he hears that the position of stigmata changed when ppl found out they did it wrong the whole time.
This crazy Miracle happened to someone in his family and he did not lead with this story when he started talking about miracles. I do not believe a word he says.
It was a miracle that a police boat was just cruising by when the man jumped 135 feet of the Brooklyn Bridge. Who knows how many other people could have been saved if God had just put boats in the right place to pull out jumpers before they drowned. Or kept them afloat long enough to be found.
At times listening to things like this it is easy to think of these people as stupid, and yourself as so much smarter. I have to keep reminding myself that this is not the case, and that this is more people not knowing how to think, rather than them being being stupid. We can all learn to be better thinkers, and I hope this guy finds his way there one day.
I've died twice and been resuscitated in two separate incidents and can tell you that I saw nothing on the other side, both times. NOTHING, no god, no angels, no spirits, no heaven or hell. This is contributed to my Atheism.
If something can't be explained, then what gives you the right to then go on and explain it by saying there was divine intervention or that it was caused by a deity? If it is unexplained, there is no explanation. If you acknowledge that and then go on to explain it, you are supplying an explanation and your definition of a miracle falls apart.
So he can’t imagine that someone with brain activity, people dream in comas, and a prior knowledge and belief in his religion could possibly dream and envision these things that match their world view? ITS A MIRACLE!
Ööhhhh sooo since iii don't understand... It muuuust be a miracle yeahhhh.. totally..and i don't know annnnything about aaannnyything so yeah...miracles are all over..
A bit unfortunate that Jesus never came to people in comas until Christianity spread to their territory, frankly it's a bit uncool of him to not spread his love until conquest spread his religion.
You know what would have been more convincing? If God had actually caught the jumping guy, who walked away with no injuries. It's like, "My house burned to the ground and we lost everything but the family Bible!" Yeah, what a "miracle" for you.
You bro I get drunk so much once that I was like literally dead and I had this vision I 💩 my bed. Bro guess what when I woke up. I'm telling you miracles happen.
“We aren’t in cages!” Ummmmm do you want to bet if there are more people in cages or all other primates in cages? Because I will literally put every cent I have on “people in cages”
I can't believe you had a 30-minute discussion with someone who thought the ambulance doors couldn't close because there were too many angels trying to get in. That's crazy.
Flat lining doesn't mean the patient is dead. This is an urban myth
Exactly. There is a lady on YT who is a pallative nurse who describes to processes of death. It interesting content
Flatlining is also an indicator that someone has died.
"90% of her brain was damaged. She saw angels and stuff!" Yeah pretty sure damaging the brain can cause all sorts of things lol, I'm more likely to believe it was brain damage or possibly just a result of what the brain does when you're flatlining ;P
My thoughts exactly. With that much brain damage, I'd be more surprised if she WASN'T seeing crazy things.

1000+ years ago: "I can't explain how lightening is possible. Therefore it must have been a powerful wizard god thing."
Mjølner did it 👃
I got a Christian AD on this video saying that God wants me to get into real-estate.
Amazing :']

Because his arguments are entirely unrelated to why he is religious, so defeating his arguments has no effect on his belief.
An honest "gods-believer", that's a "miracle".
Hahaha good One👍
"I just wanted to have a discussion", translates as, I just wanted to shovel my bullshit and see how much of it you'd swallow.
Christians are not the only one who see things in near death situation, other people do and they see things accordingly to their culture.
This crazy Miracle happened to someone in his family and he did not lead with this story when he started talking about miracles. I do not believe a word he says.
The miracle is my fat ass being able to button my pants.
A theist that can tie their owm laces without help, now thats a mirical
8:48
Ah! A skeptic at heart!
7:12 he goes from like 17 to 12 years old with like 3 questions
So people said they’ve been abducted by aliens, so it must be true!
You joke, but they actually believe that.

There were a lot of religions before Christians or Catholics

@@Slum0vsky Christians are so cocky its disgusting

So he thinks that there were angels trying to get his sister killed by preventing the door from closing??

Its not just that its unexplained it has to be unexplainable by natural means

I think I might know this family.
As usual, I'd ask this guy: "Why most of Humanity never heard of your miraculous god before Roman Empire kickstarted their version of its religion?"
I’m from the south: the baptists here will tell you that Catholics are not Christian.

"My religion says 2 is the same as 4" - isn't that basically what the Trinity is - three different entities being the same one?
So someone had extreme brain damage is seeing some crazy stuff................nooooo wayyy
What’s the deal with these people saying “unalive” instead of “kill”?
