@@lukelewis7070 by how un called for your reply is, i can tell you dont have any friends and like to be toxic. Also i live on a farm dude, tractors are everywhere. But im just impressed that he would bother with a crank if it has a starter
Growing up we had a farmall c, a JD 70D, Farmall 560D and 650D. When it was cold, that ol C would crank right up and we’d have to pull all the diesels to get them going. Man I loved that little tractor.
Pretty weird their is a temp difference between the two if they been sitting an not been run. U think the metal woulda been the same temp as the outside temp. Questionable.
This guy is a legend. After 11 years he still uploads videos.
Yes
So true
More impressive is the fact he is trying to start two tractors with a hand crank first, even with an electric starter
The fact that you people are impressed by anything that you see on this channel shows how insignificant your lives are.

Really makes you appreciate electric start. I have a 49 C, but have never tried to start it with the crank.
I love vintage tractors, they are kinda magical, and look beautifull
Wow!! That the first time I see a John Deere being started with a hand crank.
Glad to see someone who knows how to pull a crank lever through properly. One quarter turn not continous cranking which is a good way to get hurt.
sure is and not wrapping youre thumb around the crank to like everyone does drives me nuts
Keep going still posting after 11 years that’s amazing and these tractors are so nice
Thanks, will do!

Love your optimism big guy. Most people know they don’t start at 0.
Deere till’ Death, but I admit, even I was pulling for ol’ Red too.
Next time put 5w30 in the crankcases.
The JD Owner's Manual states SAE 20 for 'winter'.
Love my '51 JD "A" , year round here in New Hampshire.💚
Мне очень сильно нравится трактор John Deere, купить бы но к сожалению в России такую модель не найти. Я работаю на john deere 8310 r
Nice tractors 👍
My question is that why did you crank start them ?
My uncles MT starts like crap even on warmer days and it's the 6 volt system.
The king is here lol
A perfect demonstrion of why God invented pony motor starters for cold weather ! LOL
I'm not going outside if it's that cold. The coldest I can say I remember was 4 degrees, it sucked lol.
Know where I can get a used front axle for a model M?
where are you located?
Hold the clutch in it will crank easier
this is in USA?
Sure is
how do you still upload videos you are hardcore
cool
epic
Вот он, русский крестьянин на тракторе.
you should make more videos
Sure am when I get a chance
Why I live in florida

I thought the same the day of filming it but that's the way it was.
The left side of the c was on shaded side of the tractor and the right side of the m was in the sun! Just a thought????
