They are really a tank of a guitar. Excellent players and a ton of fun to use. Big plus if you play it out and it disappears it won't cost an arm an a leg to replace
Great guitar. I bought one at a pawn shop for $70 to experiment with different pickups but the originals sound nice. Probably, I will install a GFS single coil humbucker in the bridge position. Old peavey predators from the 80s and early 90s are good as well....use to find these often for less than $100.
I keep looking for an older us made peavey predator for a good deal. They really are a sleeper guitar. I did just pick up another Korean made SX that I will probably do a video on. It's a pretty killer guitar too. Thank you for the awesome comment man and I hope you keep rockin'!
I have a slammer strat and after I set it up and did a little filing on the frets it’s a great knock around guitar for not much money. Three Ovations. I last have a Gibson Les Paul that I treat like a crown jewel. I actually treat them all like jewels.
I find them to be excellent guitars for the money, I am the same way treat them all like queens. My schecter I usually play is my baby. But I have a few others I dearly love like a '89 Squier HM strat and a '69 Gibson Les Paul
There’s one in my area that is a Hamer Slammer on the headstock, as opposed to a Slammer by Hamer. Also, the headstock is black with white writing. The guy said it’s a Korean guitar.
Those are Korean sorry meant to get back sooner. I actually have one right now I'm setting up for a friend. Great guitar. Is it a Daytona series? Awesome guitar when they are setup well. The pickups sound awesome too.
I hope its the slammer, I had the same one in the same color and love it but it was beat up before I got it and didn't last long. body fell apart, body seems to be a unicorn in a not so good way I don't want to say must must. If it's the same year as mine its made out of 10,000+ layers of cardboard, the guitar that started the rumor of fake wood bodys on bugit guitars. But it sounded great.
It is a slammer. This one surprisingly was about 4-5 pieces. Heavy and sounded great and played really well. Had that strat sound to it. It was a great guitar for a budget guitar
I found one of these in an abandoned house near my own home. Had to replace a couple of parts but now ive got a free guitar.
That is awesome! I always like free or close to free guitars. They are a great guitar especially for free
What did you need to replace?
Theres no such thing as an abandoned home lol
I Love my slammer tele. Ain't nothin like it.
It's a tank of a guitar with an amazing sound also the value is almost unbeatable. I'm glad to hear someone else still has one.
A slammer owner since 2003. Fitted with a bkp nailbomb pickup in 2006. And its still rocking. Need some fretwork done though.

I JUST bought one of the e for $80 with a Trainer Guitar Mate15
It's a fantastic guitar with a little setup work. I preferred it to my fender I had. I hope you enjoy it!
