Looks like it did when I was there in Late October. Love that place.

Neat gizmo, Keith. I love making the gadgets and tools almost as much as making the bows and arrows.

Great idea, only question I have is when you first put the dowel in your jig to mark the hole for the pendulum, did you mark center, top or bottom of the dowel and then 2” up for the hole? Thank you

Nice build, interspersed with not one, but two absolutely lovely ladies.
Two questions from a total beginner. When they talk about weight vs pull weight, no matter how many videos I watch, I can’t figure if they’re talking about with or without the tip.
The other is just simple curiosity, how much weight, at their draw length, are those girls (and the guys) using for target practice. I’ve heard I should use light for practice to avoid injury, or full on hunting to be used to it.

That space between should be 26" not 28".

Yeah i was asking myself the same thing when i saw it. But i think it does not make a difference because he calibrates it using arrows with a known spine weight, instead of using exact measurements etc. I believe that in the case of this spine tester and the way it's calibrated, even the weight you hang on the arrow van be more or less than two pounds, as long as you keep using the same weight on this jig from now on.
